How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

These people call me every day, even though I have told them to take me off their call list.
The phone "rings" a few times, you answer, no sounds for a few seconds, and the phone call is disconnected. Rude, very rude. You call back, and it is just a "busy signal". I called 411 to trace the phone call ID information, and the operator just tells you that there is no such "listing". Strange.

Might as well report to FTC now, Crystal. Many people have "won" that same Lincoln Navigator. Poke around this forum and others, you'll see the complaints.
)1/21/2011 @ 2:44 p.m. received message from 312-625-5542 man named Bill from Grand Prize Giveaway stating that he was looking at my entry that I apparently submitted some time ago in the hopes of winning a Lincoln Navigator. He says he has very good news for me so please call back @ 800-301-3436. Upon returning the call (because the sweepstakes sounded very familiar to me as if I had entered)-first calling # Bill called from (was busy) then called 800 # and woman answered phone...put on hold for 5 minutes and I hung up. called 800 # again and got a man (not Bill) that sounded so unenthusiastic saying I will be receiving a letter and Reading Pa closest place to pick up prize (not too far from home). Did think it was odd he asked if I was married and where I lived prior to the letter response. If he was looking at entry wouldn't it include name and address!I'm smart enough to not give out bank # or personal info (which wasn't asked from me). Still waiting on the letter to check it out...5 days ago. As far as the prize, would rather have cash, already own a gas guzzler and would like to pay it off with the msrp of $63,000 to $84,000 depending on model. AndI am on the national do not call registry and if this doesn't pan out like you all say it won't I will report them as if that will help.
Repeatedly calls my cell phone, sometimes twice within the same hour. I don't pick up any numbers that I don't recognize, so I never answer. I'm on the DNC list, and I have already filed a complaint with the FTC but it didn't do any good. I hope whoever this spammer is loses interest and gets a real job.
keeps calling and hangs up!! How can these calls be put to a stop?? my number is unlisted and is on the do not call registry!! caller id shows up from Chicago, IL.
