Robo call message left on answering machine about lowering my interest rate
Robo call. Lower interest rate? Scam. Very annoying for old folks to have to get to the phone to answer ideot callers. Stop this!
I didnt answer..unknown number
this number keeps calling my cell even tho i'm on the do not call list;
soo tired of these scam calls
This idiots just got themselves yet another complaint for violation of the NDNCR. Every time they call. REPORT THEM! The more calls the NDNCR receives on any given number the faster they act against that number. Just make sure you give a detailed report about the terms and conditions of the call. IE: Calls like Amy experienced below. As Resident47 puts it... They are prime for a lawsuit and the more information you supply to the NDNCR the faster they will act. Especially against scammers like these jackalopes..
Amy, I think the technical term for this is ''chutzpah''. These thieves ''qualify'' just fine for a lawsuit, if only they'll sit still long enough to get served.
A computer called...pressed 1 to speak to a human with the intent to have these people stop bugging me. What is most interesting is I was told I had to "qualify" before I could talk to someone about never being called again. I was able to get "Account Management" as a name of the company. Apparently the representative I was speaking with was powerless to remove my number from their call list, but was also completely unable to give me a phone number or even let me speak to a manager about removing me from the call list without "qualifying" for their services first. So I asked her, you expect me to give you all kinds of personal information, but you are completely incapable of even providing a company name, a corporate office, or a phone number or anything of value that might alert me that this company is legitimate or not...makes total sense, no? I was friendly, and so was the representative up until the time she hung up on me...because I kept bugging her for details. "You have to qualify first." Horse puckies. Where are you located? We're nation wide. Well, you have to have a corporate office, where is that located and what is the phone number? I have to qualify before I can speak to someone about removing me from the call list? Really? Scam.
Scam
Robocall, no name on caller ID, did not identify company, but said "press 1 to speak with a live operator. Yet another scam to "reduce your mortgage rate." My number is a celphone and has been on the Texas and Federal do-not-call lists for over a decade. Somebody needs to put these Florida-based criminals UNDER the jail in Guantanamo.
IMPORTANT TIP: At some time in the past, the phone number was assigned to Cingular in the Florida Keys, which was purchased by ATT a few years ago. I called ATT and used THE PHONE NUMBER THAT CALLED ME when they asked for my ATT phone number. It is NOT an ATT phone number, which means the number has been spoofed and it doesn't help to report it to Do No Call List.
Before I realized I could use the ATT pre-programmed phone que to determine if the number was ATT, I spent about 15 minutes on the web to find out how to contact ATT, and then another 15 minutes before I was able to speak to a human being from ATT. When she answered, she could only look up phone numbers in the midwest (where I am located) and NOT Florida.
LOOK UP THE ZIP CODE FOR the spammer phone number before you call their supposed service provider so you can reach the right region.
Call the FBI and your congressperson to complain.
Honest people are subjected to a myriad of rules and regulations while crooks get away with this behavior! COMPLAIN TO YOUR CONGRESSPERSON! COMPLAIN TO YOUR CONGRESSPERSON!
Scam for lower interest rates
I have been reporting this scam every time they call and they are doing nothing about it ,they have been calling for years I am sick of .
same credit card services calling every day reporting to fcc every day and they are doing nothing
I really don't know why these people call me. I got rid of my credit card 23 years ago. My friend Lucy told me not to, but, I'm a very head strong person, so I did it anyway. Even if I had a credit card I would be getting the best interest rate anyway cause I always pay my bills on time and therfore I have an excellent credit rating, which my Uncle Roy says is the best thing to have in life. Since Rachael didn't sound like a very stable girl, I asked her if I could help her, letting her know I have connections that could help her get a better paying job. It was obvious to me the company she works for didn't even know if the people they told Rachael to call even had a credit card....casue I don't and they called me. Anyway, Rachael isn't a very polite girl and has a very foul mounth...take it from me. The dirty little bitch.
Lowerr interest. I wish someone would stop them from calling no call list..
Anyone can lower their interest by calling the credit card compant themselves and not paying someone else to do it for them.
For over two years a scam company called Card Member Services has called from non existant numbers. Will not identify themselves not will they stop calling. Have sent information to various Federal Agencies. I have been on the Do Not Call List since it began and have twice since them reregistered. It is of no value with this type of company
Nice of these scamsters to identify their scam on the caller ID, that way i can quickly answer & hangup in less than a second.
Since they ignore the DO NOT CALL LIST, rest assured that any information you give them will be used for ID theft purposes.
Recording to get me to lower my credit card interest rate.
My 1,000th call from 'Rachel' who wants to help me with credit card debt. Want credit card numbers and will not tell me name of company, where located (this call was from Marathon, FL) or how to call them back if I want their help. Recording states 'hit '3' if you want to be removed. I have hit '3' 100 times and they do not go away. Total financial scam operation.
