Said unknown. I did not pick up. It made sounds like a fax machine.
This man called my home today. I ask him who he was. Wouldn't say. I hung up. Keeps calling me. I tried to dial back and I get the number you reached is out of the area. Check and dial again.
They called me twice today; I didn't pick up either time. They called at least once last week. I think they called another time last week and I picked up that time; if that was them, they tried to talk me into "lower rates on my credit cards," but as soon as I started asking them for specifics, they hung up on me!
This one has called 4 times today and it doesn't even show up in my ViaTalk call log. Creepy. There is another number showing up at the same consecutive times as this one too that I think is related. It isn't a valid number as far as I can tell 50622609962. The number of digits is incorrect and I don't know how to break it up. If it is an international call, the country code would be 2 digits. I'm pretty sure it is the same organization. Have also received a half dozen calls since yesterday from that number. They aren't showing up in my ViaTalk call log either. How do they do that?!
Calls from 305-000-0104 are spoofed collection calls. They lead you to believe they are calling about an automobile warranty or auto insurance. Misleading information is illegal. Others say the actual company calling is Solomon & Solomon Collection Agency (see previous). They call everyday and multiples times.
Caller ID shows: HOMETOWN QUOTES. Called about credit card debt.
Received calls today from 305-000-0104, both hangups. Probably a telelmarketer or bill collector spoofing the real number so the caller ID shows 305-000-0104. This is ILLEGAL activity. Call the authorities immediately. The telephone company will be able to tell the authorities the actual number where the call originated. Spoof cards are available for sale on the internet, but are illegal. Also I suggest you call your local telephone company.
