Gordon,

I pressed "3" the last time these jokers called, as described in my last comment. However, they called again today.

Obviously, they are not honouring the removal request.

They called with a vaction offer, which they said was a result of visiting an American store that doesn't exist here. I called back and got a number removal service. I entered my number, they verified it and said it "has been removed".

I'm in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

The recording said that I'd won a trip to Cancun. Press 1 to accept, press 3 to decline.

Which one do you think that I pressed. ;-)

Recording, says something about please listen carefully and then rambles on about a car warranty... made me feel better to tell the machine to f*** off and the such. New phone number, same old sorry telemarketing garbage.

No message left, calling back answeres as "You have reached the telephone number removal system"

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
