I got a call from +301 I keep on saying Hello but nobody answered..

Like other people I am getting repeated calls from "301" sometimes the person who initiated the call hangs up and other times they ask questions like it's a survey. Currently calling my SHAW provider. I am wondering if other complainants are also with SHAW.

The number +301 is shown when a caller try to hide he`s number. Often when foreign callers call to sell something.

An asian lady claimed my computer had corupted files and wanted me to log on. I asked her which company she was calling from, but I couldn't understand her and she asked me to open up my pc again so I ended the call.

Have had 2 calls, one again today, from a number listed on my caller ID as ()301- and that's it. Both times it was someone with an Indian accent, and you can hear lots of voices in the background. They claim to be from a Global PC Support or something similar. I keep telling them to stop calling me. One person said they stopped when he told them he didn't run Windows.

I received a call from first unknown, but then it popped up as +301 when he called back. He had a think Indian (I believe)accent and had my old mailing info as well. He said he was from the US Dept of the Treasury and the government was going to give me $7000 for school as a grant. All I had to do was give my card or bank info then call this number: 202-407-9198 and ask for Richard Lee. I called that number for the heck of it and it is ALWAYS busy and I also called the Dept of Treasury and they said it was a scam. When the +301 called me back, I told him it was a fraud and what not. When he hung up, I called that number and it was busy then I called it again (+301 number) and it said that your international call cannot be completed as dialed.

Yesterday late evening i got call from +301 n i picked up the call,i didn'l understand what the person on other side is saying and before i say something he cut the call in 1/2 min. The guy speaking had a very heavy India accent and said he was calling about my problems on the computer. Apparently calls still being sent from 301. Show on call display exactly 8 hours apart. Haven't answered yet.

After looking at the reports, I decided to call the Vancouver Police and report this one. They are coming over shortly I guess apparentlt that there is a way to trace the source of the call provided that it is done within a certain period of time. Would love to catch this moron. Will see what happens and report back.

Work at a church and just got a series of obscene phone calls from this number. Four in a row. Stopped when I had my male boss answer the phone.

And Indian guy called from 301 aand said my computer was infected. I hung up.

if you are registered your number in facebook delete it ,that is the source for them to call you.

I just got a call from them - no message - 4:51 PST - my cell is getting so many telemarkers right now - why! I just registerd my cell on the National DO NOT call list.

Caller wanted me to open a port on my PC and allow him to access it to remove malware.
Claimed to be a division of Microsoft and my PC was reporting to them it was infected.

I keep getting calls from (301). Every time I answer it hangs up after a few seconds of silence.

I called the cops on this one, after they called us twice. Hung up on me, then they tried to tell my wife we had a computer virus. When I answered, they hung up. They don't talk to men, mostly prey on women. The police said they had at least 1 other report, and i live in a very small city. I love the Animal Farm comment......might just use that one. I called my Cell phone carrier they said it's a blocked #, and my only option is to get a new cell phone #, (yea right). This was T-Mobile.

I answered thinking it was my deployed husband from skype, but it ended up being a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from Windows help but before I could politely decline her obvious scam, I heard a click on the line and then it went dead. If anyone knows who in the world these people are, please post any answers or ideas.

The caller from this number is trying to get me to sell my timeshare. When I told him to stop calling he told me "you are dreaming, I will not stop calling". Now, when this number comes up, I do nothing but read from Animal Farm until they hang up. Join me. Pick a book, and read from it when they call. Pause after every couple sentences and laugh inside as they reply "Hello", then continue reading. Maybe then they'll get a clue.

Timeshare sales shows 301 on caller ID; very rude callers.

Oh my goodness these crazy East Indian/Pakistani people are calling me like crazy...Ive tried the whole take me off the call list and got smart with one and now this one just got smart with me back and called me a biotch....I would love to know who they are!!! This is a "Do you want to sell your timeshare?" thing. It always comes up on my caller i.d. as "out of area 301".They have been calling me almost every other day for the LAST THREE OR FOUR WEEKS!!! It's all East Indian/Pakistani callers, but they use American names like "Peggy", "Martin", "Bob", and get this one--ROCKY!!! (lol) So, after telling them nicely, not so nicely, angrily, very angrily that a. I do NOT have a t/s & b. if I do, I'd love to know where it is so I could use it, and DO NOT CALL HERE AGAIN, and still getting these calls day in and day out, I decided tonight to take a different approach. I said that yes,I did have a t/s, and then he asked me if it was paid off or if I still owed on a mortgage (I said it was paid off), am I current or behind on my association fees (I said I was current and paid up). They they transferred me to "Leone" & I told him my story and that I really DON'T have a t/s and lied and said I did just to talk to someone further up the food chain to make them quit calling me. He said he would. We'll see.....

Phone number is a 'spoof' from a collections agency. They won't give out their number because they know spoofing is illegal. Also, when you ask for an address, they won't give you one OR a phone number.

I am trying to find out who is calling my cell too. When I finally did talk to this person they were very strange. My cellphone rang twice at 10:59pm with this number. All it shows on the Caller ID is 301. There is nothing else to the number.

have had calls from this number for the past couple of weeks during the day all hours of the day. Looked the number up and found this information. So called the operator and they said do not call this number back. Just report it to your local service or the operator.
