You can get all the new numbers everyday and you will be called. It does not matter that you have registered with the do not call list.

Thank GOD that I am moving in a couple of weeks. We'll be getting a new phone number and registering that with the DNC, but this is really starting to piss me off! If these usless calls do NOT stop IMMEDIATELY, I will NOT be held liable for my actions!

Spam posing as a survey. "John" of Political Opinions of America strikes yet again with a different telephone number. NANPA: Assigned Tacoma, Washington (Qwest Corporation)

Received several calls lately from both the 503 and 253 area codes on my cell. I do not answer them but they are getting annoying....

They get your cell phone number by just randomly calling numbers, i.e.

These scum bags called my cell phone number. So, it must be some government official. How else would they get my cell phone number? I want them to stop calling me right NOW!!!! I will report them to the National Do Not call list!!!!

They'll stop for a while, then restart, usually with a new phone number
Calling back & selecting option to be removed is bogus, of course, they just call again from a diffferent number in their VAST pool.

I am an idiot! I did not mean to dial these people back, but, I swear, the sun prevented me from seeing the number I was looking at. I choose their number accidentally and it said something like "thank you for taking this personal survey." The message would not stop, even after repeated "end call" button pressing. So, my phone (HTC) and my phone company will not allow me to block this number. All I did was add it to my phone list and put "SPAM" next to the number. Now, I'll know

Called me on my cell. Don't know anyone or any business in Tacoma, WA so I didnt answer it.

I received this call 11am on 30April2012 on both my work phone and my personal phone. I never use my personal phone for business or vice versa. The only entity my phones have in common is that they have been registered at donotcall.gov. I missed the call and called back right away. Automated reply stated something about a survey that had expired. I believe it was the federal government that initiated this call.

Called and left no message. I know no one in Tacoma Washington, I know of no businesses I deal with in tacoma and have never been on a boat for them to have obtained my number.

CALLED BUT NEVER LEFT A MESSAGE....

WOKE ME UP at 9:15 AM- 2 hours after I put my head down. Caller ID said "Washington". A robot caller offered a free cruise vacation (paid for by a generous sponsor), for participation in a 30-second survey.

My # is on the DNC list, as it has been since its inception. Its still there today.
My theory is that this call is really a "confirmation call" to verify my # for some other purpose, like a list to be sold.
Another possibility is that it is a ploy to circumvent the list by engaging unsuspecting people at DNC #s so that they can claim that they've "done business" and as such, they (or telemarketers they are associated with), are allowed to call back.
I don't give out my #. I neither respond nor agree to being subjected to telemarketer contact from any source.
The thing about this that also pisses me off is that I know from experience that if you respond in any way, like push the # to be removed from their call list, you're forever on their "live prospect" list. I'm already on the DNC list and that should protect me from these unwanted intrusions.
