How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Report this and other calls from Rachel from "Whatever Name they list themselves today services" to the FTC or to the FCC if a cell phone. Some State Attorney Generals, including North Carolina and Missouri, have taken these violators of the DNC list to court which has issued stiff fines to the entities promoting the "Rachel and Michelle" robocalls. I would recommend contacting the attorney generals in these states--especially states that are looking for quick revenues. Nothing will stop these thieves better than large and consequential fines and hopefully jail time for failure to pay the fines. I also suggest that those receiving these phone calls look at "The Hunt for Rachel at Cardholder Services" in a site "On the Spot Blog." This provides names of the group of associated perpetrators of this scam/debtor fraud.
Did not pick up. They hung up on my answering machine. What do we need to do to get these calls (dozens of them) STOPPED. Most of us are on the Do Not Call list but that doesn't mean anything to these scums.
I recieved a phone call to lower my credit card debt, but my husband and I do not have credit cards. I pressed 0 to speak to someone to have them remove my number and it told me I was the seventh caller waiting. When someone finally came on the phone, he asked if I was jacking off. I couldn't believe what I heard so I said, "What?" and the man asked, "will you jack off for me?" and then hung up. I cannot believe that this phone call came to my home. What if my daughter had answered?!?! I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau and hope someone pays for what they said to me!!!!
I too am on the DNC List. This "so called" company leaves a msg to "Please press 1 to speak with a representative" or words to that effect. Caller ID comes up with "Lower Interest" and a phone # of 253 382-9903. Why does this kind of behavior continue? That with "political calls" which have already started, are very annoying.

For the zillionth time they've offered us lower interest rates. Why is this company and the dozen or so others just like it allowed to harass us. One company (I don't know if particular company offered it) said to press "3" to be removed from our call list. I did it, and a person came on and asked me if I wanted to reduce my got ham interest rates!!! I told him I wanted to be removed from their call list. He chuckled and hung up on me. That same number appeared 2 days later on my caller ID & the msg was, again, for reducing interest rates.
Lower interest...my hind foot!! Scammer who calls "DO NOT CALL" phones...will be reported to the PSC...
Usual "This is Rachael from Cardholder Services" scam. At least the Caller ID had the more honest reading of "Lower Interest."

Have received calls from this place before. When I have time I hit the button to talk to someone "about lowering my interest rates." I've spoken to them twice and each time they don't want to give a company name. They say something like Account Servicing company. Question them any further and they hang up. I'm trying to come up with a more creative way to waste their time. Now that it's summer if I'm in the right mood I've got all the time in the world to give it right back to them. Any suggestions? By the way, caller ID says V061514553500198. Not sure what it means or if it is always the same but it always starts with the V.
Robo Call to Lower your interest rates... press one to connect with live operator. Sure! I rather press, OFF to hangup!!! Caller Id Showed this No. V06141807000028.... uhm...
This is annoying.
Shows up on Caller ID as PACIFICTEL. This bogus name shows up on my Caller ID all too often, and it is in violation of the national DNC registry. I've reported this before and nothing has been or will be done. Our complaints fall on deaf ears, people!
Credit card scam call. Reported them to DNC, not that they will do anything about it.
well, i too am on the no call list and i too think they should be fined. they have absolutely no right to call me at all. im begining to think they may not be real americans, but i really don't know for sure. i am sure the govt isn't doing anything about this problem at all.
We are on a Do No Call List and this company should be fined calling my number.
