How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Called but never said a word.
Calls two to three times a day, shows up as RLP and wont say a word. I'm going to take EMK's advice below and file a complaint with the FCC.
as soon as anybody says "may i speak with the owner or manager," i hang up! that is rude, unprofessional and just down right irritating and marks them immediately as a telemarketer scum bag!
As others have stated, they call and when I answer, I can hear sounds in the background but no one speaks. The same has been true on many other calls from them.
Calls about twice a day, the calls come about one minute after the other and they do that about everyday I don't answer because I don't no who it is and I don't answer Telamarketers. Not interested in what they have to say. I have a phone that blocks that number. My phone rings one and then they get a busy sound.
Persistent in calling our work address. In seeing their "RLP" on our caller ID, I finally answered once but no one there after 5 seconds so I hung up.
Repetedly calls business on a daily basis and never says anything when you answer
I just filed a complaint with the FCC. If you haven't already I suggest you do so. Just go to the FCC web page and fill one out over the internet.
The number is serviced with Lucre Telecommunications Inc. I just called them at 616-361-0128 and told them they are using several other numbers to scam folks into buying car warranties and sell adds with yellow pages. They've calling me for a couple of months. Lately they won't talk. I only hear people carrying on and muffled sounds. Initially I told them to take me off their call list. But obviously they haven't. The person at Lucre told me he would contact them and have my number removed from their calling list. I doubt that will happen. The internet is full of complaints about these people and using various other numbers. I attempted to call them back but it goes to operator saying the number can't be completed as dialed. This number comes back as RLP and I'm not able to track down who they are. I will be contacting FCC and if necessary the FBI to look into these people. They are running scams and it is an illegal racket.
They call my fax number several times a day. I called the number back, butreceived a message that my call couldnot go through as dialed.
Rude caller, kept pushing to speak to the owner or the manager about yellow pages. Refused to take us off their calling list.
Pushing sales call pretending to be an "online yellow pages"
