Who Called Us

Did not answer; but I did call number twice and it sounded like it was a fax line. My call records show that I called 5 times. I guess I will have a big cell phone bill.

I got the same call, 04/04/08 at 12:36 am or something... didn't have my phone on me so I couldn't answer... (AT&T)

it appears the recording is advising you that you have won a prize. If you hit the numbers requested I assume it will connect you with a real person and then the rate will become 99 dollars a minute.

Spanish speaking female called from this number on 4-5-08 at 3:26pm. My service provider (Sprint) didn't know anything about the number or caller.

I got the phone call and I do speak spanish.
The woman mentioned that I had won something, as the 10th person, of what im not sure. But that I had won and that I needed to press "1" to get my prize. I did and then nothing happened.

I am not "pro war" but I am far from against it. I only say that cause I just got that call so I doubt your political viewpoints had much to do with it. I didn't get a chance to answer (phone is on silent) but I can speak spanish fluently and portuguese to a lesser extent so Ill let yall know what they say if I am lucky enough to receive the call again. If I do, you can be sure the people on the other end will hear some of the mose foul things they have ever heard over the phone coming from my mouth. Bastards.

This number appeared on my missed calls list at about 2:55pm cst. I also am using AT&T.

Got a call at 8:30pm last night on my work number. It's not a published number in any way. My voice mail just picked up the end of a recorded female voice. Didn't sound like spanish to me, more like japanese or soemthing. very odd.

Received call on 4/4/08 at 5:57pm. Did not have cell phone on me to answer at time of call.

Just posted a message on a political board loudly ripping on the bogus Iraq war and now I notice I am getting robo calls from this number in Louisiana. ... sorry for sounding paranoid... I just bring this up, because the last time I got the robo calls it was while I was doing the same thing.... I understand it is likely just coincidence... in the age of Big Brother I just thought I'd see if anyone else has a similar case with this number.... peace!

I just got a call today at 4.50 PM.... I didn't answer the call.

i answered my phone at 7:50 pacific time someone was speaking spanish. I hit '1' to see what would happen a person answered also speaking spanish. i dont know spanish so i hung up.

Called today, spanish speaking would not stop

I researched this number to see where this number was called from. It is from the Ivory Coast which is Africa area and Liberan Area, ETC. I did answer my phone due to the number. It was a lady speaking a different language and was a recording. The only reason I answered the call was due to my spouse being military and is overseas at the time. Though I know that we all should be careful when answering phones these days becasue some ppl can get info about you if they can manage you to stay on the line long enough. So beware!!!!

"forwarded call" showed up on my cell phone, then this number. a lady speaking spanish (sounded recorded) was talking, with static in the background. I hung-up and called the number back and the number did not work. wtf.

This number was on the local news last night and low and behold it called my cell twice today..I just did not answer.

I too have cingular/At&t. Seems everyone or most everyone has this connection. I did not answer the call.. no messages were left for me. I just came to get online to find out who this was calling, and so far I have found nothing but this site.. hope someone finds out what this is.. I'd hate for it to end up being some type of political thing.

This is actually a first time I encounter that kind of malignant calling on the cell phone. Being a doctor, I had to pick it up even without knowing who was calling. If this can be stopped ...

It was in spanish, then it paused...I thought it was a computer, so I pressed "1" to see what would happen. The "lady" started speaking again, and then a ringer started, like they connected me with someone. I got scared, and hung up before anyone could pick up.

B.S. recording of some spanish speaking female spamming my cell phone. I always answer my phone, but I cut this beeoch off instantly!! Why does it show a "+" in front of the number?? These people need to catch a nice virus so their hard drives will be erased. Karma will catch up with these SPAMBASTARDS one way or another!

And I just thought it was a bill collector, so I didn't answer it. Wierdness. Sounds like awesome mind control conspiracy to me! I am now bummed for not answering it.

I sometimes get calls from numbers I don't recognize long distance, so generally I answer them anyways. Immediately I heard spanish and couldn't understand it, so I hung up. Wasnt on the phone for more than 10 seconds.

I got a call from this number today. The person was saying something in Spanish. A call from 425-961-8989 came in on 4-01-08. Again someone speaking in Spanish. Strangely enough, our local news was reporting on people getting calls from that number that evening.

This is the second call I've had on my cell from this number. Its a static ridden recording in spanish. I could barely hear what they were saying. All I caught "was press number 3 for..." Caller ID says its a Louisiana number.

I had a call from this number, and several coworkers have also had a call this afternoon.

I have received several calls on my cell phone from this number and so has others in my office. We are Law Enforcement and we have restricted cell numbers. Person speaks spanish.

Just got it several minutes ago, do not know what they are talking about and hang up.

I received this call almost simultaneously at my office and my cell phone. They hung up before I could answer.

I got it on my AT&T wireless phone today--it was a recording in Spanish or Portuguese--I couldn't tell. It had already started by the time I picked up, and I got dead air after a few seconds. Number appeared as +2259658989. Not sure why there was a + in the beginning since it was only 10 digit.

I got this same call today. my mom and dad got this same call about 3 days ago. I called my service provider (AT&T) and they had never heard of such a thing. I told them about it and they said that they would investigate this. They red flagged my acount to make sure that there wasn't going to be any out of the ordinary activity. My sister inlaw has been getting a simalar phone call that was just someone saying random numbers. I just found out from someone else today that I work with that they got a call that was simalar. Crazy thing is they all strat with a plus sign and end in 8989.... there's something weird going on here.

I got call from this number ; this was amazing ; somebody was pronouncing a "Mantra" in some language; I was afraid if something bad is happening; I am really scared, because "Mantras" are something some people use as a weapon to do something. I said, "Hello, who is speaking " , no body replied.

Does somebody has figured out what this call is ?
