Two rings - I didn't answer - no message. Whatever happened to the "No Call" list?

Got a call today asking for donations for money to support kids and cops. I told him I was sorry I was unemployed, he said we are not looking for alot of money 20.00 or 25.00. I hung up on him. The insensitivity of people is unbelievable. Does he not read the newspaper, unemployment benefits have been on hold for the last 7 weeks, does he want me to pull it out my nose? I hate telemarketers and I don't know how they got my number either.

Received a call today asking to give to IL Vietnam Veterans local charity. I asked him if I've supported their charity before (as I was doing a search in quicken and coming up with nothing) he said no this is a first time fund driver so I asked where he received my name he said I supported another charity they work with "Wishing Well". I didn't recall that either so I told him I needed a web site so I could research the charity before making a decision. He didn't know what it was...very strange indeed!

Called this morning, after doing some research, I know that they are a telemarketer who keeps 80-90% of your "donation" told him I don't donate to charities who do business with TAI (the telemarketer) and that I give my money direct to the Chicago Food Depository. Bjorn then asked me if I would consider giving a smaller donation...um, what don't you understand? No! You are completely unethical making people think that they are donating to charity, not paying your salary. People, please do research before donating!

TAI calling representing "America's Food Bank." After her 3 minute marathon script...I told her that we don't donate to charities associated with TAI because they give the telemarketer 90% of the donation. She tried to dispute it, but I cut her off and said we chose not to deal with charities that partner with TAI, there is too much fraudulent activity...she hung up on me.

Said please hold for next available agent, then, shortly thereafter, hung up.

Did not recognize this number on my caller ID so I did not answer. Dialed the number the next day and just got the fast busy signal.

I would not answer, no message left. Would like to know if these calls are ever traced when reported, and if so, if they are ever fined! I am amazed that they can get away with these scam donations with so many people reporting them.

Called about a half hour after I'd received yet another "account services" call. Wonder it they're connected?

was not home to answer. glad i wasn't.

I have not answered any calls from this number, but they have called 3 times already today...in the past hour.

Some rude Guy called and asked me if I was my wife. When I said no he hung up. What an A-hole
