It's just a market research company doing phone surveys. TNS Global Market Research (A company from Zimbabwe if you can believe it) tnsglobal.com Just answer and tell them to take you off their list (If you can actually get anybody on the phone that is, I keep getting a dial tone)

If you have given your phone number to any one of a number of businesses, they do cooperate with each other, and will sell/ give your number to each other. I recently signed up for an online survey group. I haven't reached the minimum payout but a thorough research of the site convinced me it was safe. I was called by this number just a few minutes ago (see time stamp in upper right hand corner of this post) and my caller ID said it was TNS. I always screen calls from people I don't know. They did not leave a message.I do not speculate whether TNS survey research group is a legitimate survey company or not. I don't care, I hate talking on the phone.

I had 2 evening calls indicated on my caller ID and no messages left. I searched thru LinkedIn and found TNS...in nearly every country. I too have an unlisted number that I have put on the national Do Not Call list.

I don't know who this is, but I wish they would stop calling me. I don't know how they get thru, I have unknown caller block.

Got my first call from them tonight. Didn't recognize the number. Didn't answer. Searched the number on the internet and found this site. I will be programming my phone to reject or ring "silent" for no more interruptions from these scam idiots. I will not play their little game of answer the phone to give telemarketers a list of who to call and what time to call simply because the phone was answered. Those who answer this phone number are sure to be future victims. Be smart. Don't answer any number you don't recognize. Google it first. Then, let your conscience be your guide.

Continuing they said they don`t do telemarketing & that if You were called it is for a research project.
They continue their message by saying to call 1-800-350-8356 Ext 1289 if You want to be part of the research
project or if You want to be put on their DO NOT CALL LIST.

Say they are a national research company, calling for Bank of America, to ask 10 minutes of questions about a recently closed mortgage. Say "no!" Something is not right here.

Called indicating doing a survey for a major company. They would not disclose for which company when I asked. Asked (1) what I believed to be the most serious issue facing the country, (2) asked if I owned any annuities purchased personally, outside of work, (3) asked if I owned any personal life insurance purchased outside of work, (4) asked my age, and (5) asked my occupation, which I declined to give. At that point the rep thanked me for my time and the call ended.

This # has been showing up on my cell for the last wk, anytime of the day or evening. I do not answer and caller does not leave message.

I've seen posts on another website which says this number is a marketing/surveying company. One poster said she actually spoke with them and it was as result of a recent Verizon purchase. Just coincidentally, I, too, just made a Verizon purchase. So, I'm thinking Verizon (and/or other companies) are employing this company to conduct legitimate marketing surveys. Just a thought.

This is a telemarketing/survey company,(TNS), probably a scam. They have an overseas # as well +44 (0)20 8967 0007. Here is their website tnsglobal.com (just in case)you want to send out a complaint and overload their email, or send them a virus.

We get the calls several times a week including Sunday usually around dinner time and as late as 9 pm on a week night (we are in PST). We usually don't answer, the one time we did they hung up without speaking. Our number is unlisted and we are on the DNC list. I did a reverse lookup and found it is from Hatboro PA. When I searched on TNS Hatboro PA I found this site. Thanks for sharing the info. We need to reconnect the telezapper.

This is a market research company that calls you to record whether or not you are home. They sell the data of whether you answer or not at a given time to telemarketers so they know when to call you and when you will likely pick up.

I received a call at 9:05 CST (after WI legally established calling time). Caller ID says TNS. WILL NOT ANSWER !

Called on Sunday?! Isn't that totally against every law whether you are on the do not call list or not?

I know people who worked for this company. They are minimum wage workers and are required to complete so many surveys to keep their job.

Called my cell phone 5 times in 2 weeks haven't answered it yet. Checking with bbb and my lawyer about this since it cost me money, cell phone air time, and its a federal violation to charge someone money to have to listen to something they never asked for. See if its worth my time to answer just so I can sue them. Maybe then they will get the message.

Calling 3-4 times a day...no message...very annoying...I don't think this national no call list thing works very well; I registered, re-registered, and I still get tons of marketing calls.

They called our main number at work and asked to speak with someone from the IT department. Receptionist dumped them in my voicemail and they left a 24 second voicemail of someone typing on a computer.

Did not answer this call. I am on the DNC list. Have received calls from them before......

i just received a call from 215-442-7094. and the gilr told me she was calling from ABC a local tv station, when i asked for a manager, she put the phone down and i heard someone in the back laughing and say tell her your calling from Verizon wireless which happens to be my cell service.

Showed up on my at&t bill as an automatic callback on 7/1/07 at 914pm. Cost me 1.99 and no one here remembers the call. I am on DNC registry.

I spoke with someone today. They are a group the surveys customers on their satisfaction with a company. In my particular case, I had a problem with my cell phone and called customer service. This number called me back to rate that experience.

Asked me to do a survey about computers and Servers. Offered a "financial incentive" for my participation. After about 7 mins. and about a dozen questions the lady told me that the "quota was full for this particul;ar type of response" (????). She then hung up. Pretty bad. Most reputable research companies will pay for your responses without regard to a quota or some such nonsense. My advice?...don't answer the call.

This phone number appeared on my cell phone, but I did not answer because numbers that i don't recognize i don't answer. I figure that is the best technique if is important they'll leave a message right? But what i don't quite understand is the fact that nothing can be done to stop this stupid people that don't have anything better to do (get a life).

Just recieved a call from them. It's 12:00 pm. 4/15/2007. They asked me if I did a survey at a mall and what did I do a survey about and hung up. They knew my name before messing it up with other names like gregory and then saying my name without me correcting. TNS is on my caller ID.

got a call about a "bak survey". Checked the number online, lots of instances of people saying it was suveys for things, though i find it interesting that according to yellowpages.com its registered to verizon in philadelphia. Would a legit company call people from a cell phone? Probably not.

This number has called numerous times over the past week. We never picked up, but they are VERY persistent. I'm thinking of changing my voicemail message to include: "if you are from TNS, don't bother calling again, we will never answer." It worked with another company, The Pisa Group.

Just had a call come in at 7:00 EST from the above number. No caller ID info available and it was on my cellphone. Didn't answer and glad I didn't.

I never answer the calls I receive from this number - generally 1-2x per week. My number is on a no call list.

SAID THEY WERE A RESEARCH SURVEY COMPANY AND WANTED ME TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS. WOULD NOT LET ME OFF THE PHONE AFTER I TOLD THEM NO SEVERAL TIMES AND FINALLY HAD TO GET UGLY BECAUSE I HAD A LONG DISTANCE CALL ON THE OTHER LINE.

They keep calling my house finally I picked it up to tell them to leave me alone but nnobody was there I really want the calls to stop

Send email to rob.wengel@tnsintersearch.com and request to be put on the company's no call list. It can't hurt...they already have our phone number.

Very interesting! I have never gotten a call from this number until the sheriffs office tryed to serve civil court papers on me. The have continued calling me and once I signed the papers, no more calls from this number! All this took place within three days! Watch your back!

I asked to speak to a supervisor and she gave me a fraudulent address in CA. I plan to report to the Attorney General's office because I've asked them to stop calling twice.

Got this call on my mobile on 22 Aug 2006. It was a woman calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless asking for someone that I do not know. They said they had a record of someone calling the VZW service center from my number on the 18th. No one had. I'm assuming it was a independent survey company.

Called at 4:59pm on 17 August 2006. No idea who or what this number belongs to. Cell Phone is already on the National Do Not Call Registry.
