I got another call from them and asked to schedule an appt. but when she asked my last name I asked where are they located and she hung up. I called 1-888-229-9795 and the girl that answered was nicer than the previous women who always were nasty and hung up and I did give her my number to remove and she said she would and she was sorry and that they don't annoy people on purpose.

They claimed their "website is down right now", but it was "davesbestcarpet.com". I could find no record of that. They also gave phone number 1-888-229-9795 which I called back and (after a bit) they admitted they did business as "Best Carpet".

Yep, they called me to. I scheduled them out to a job at an address that does not exist, and will file an FCC do not call complaint.

I got a call from 888-279-6049 for Best Carpet. I found their other numbers are: 888-279-6051, 888-279-6052, 888-279-6053, 888-279-6054, 888-279-6055, 888-279-6056, 888-279-6057, 888-279-6058.

I kept calling back as I sung Wheels on the Bus go round and round to my baby--tied up their lines for 1 1/2 hours

If you're getting repeat calls from these boneheads, in addition to reporting them to donotcall.gov, consider scheduling a carpet cleaning every time they call. Only give them the address of a vacant lot, a government building, even the local FBI office if you have one. With enough of those sort of referrals, they just might decide you're not worth calling after all.

Just schedule an appointment with them when they call. Then, when the truck comes out, explain that you want them to take you off their call list, and that getting them face-to-face was the only way to get the message to them. That's waste their time and money, just like they waste ours.

these people of the carpet cleaning keep calling I am on the do not call national registry and they call me about 3 to 5 times a day.

They gave me their callback # as 888-279-6000, but that is a recording saying to call 800-475-TALK - which is a recording of a woman saying something along the lines of "Hey there, handsome." I hung up. Totally classless to give out a porn # to people. Their real number is 888-279-6050 where they sometimes pick up. Call it often. The woman said that the Do Not Call list is their Bible and they live by it. I said she's insane.

I just called and a woman answered and I said "Are you a carpet muncher?" She replied "Yes." I hung up.

I did some research and found their phone service provider. The phone company has an abuse email so I complained to them. They got back to me today and said they would take it up with their distributor who actually resells the services to users. They may be cut off soon.

I am on do-not-call list and got a recorded call from this company. I hung up as soon as the recording began.

Additional Info. Manager's name is John Paul. Company is Best Carpets. Phone number is 888-279-6050. CALL THEM AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN. They are getting irritated with me, but I said how does it feel to be on the other end of this.

I'm pretty sure this is some type of Credit Card Scam. I called their 800 number and tried to schedule an appointment and they guy hung up on me 3 times when I asked them for a little more information about their company. In fact the hung up on me when I called the very first time and asked them "Is the Allision Carpet?".

I tried calling the number, but got a dead line. I called the number Rick provided and told them I needed my carpet cleaned, but as soon as I asked the company name, they hung up. I called again, they said they didn't want to do business with me because it was odd I didn't know their company name. He was a jerk!

This is an ongoing violator. The local CA number is 213-622-3404 and ask for Wendy. Dial *67 first to block your outgoing caller ID. Perhaps if you keep calling them they will understand how disruptive unwanted calls can be.

Best thing to do is call the 888-279-6050 and hang up on them. If everyone calls them on this list, they should get the message.

A pre-recorded message with some manic, hyperactive spaz bitch blabbering about carpets and steam cleaning, "press 8 to be removed from our list" when I am already on the do not call list!! Tried to call back, got a dead line. Reporting them to the FTC!

according to the internets and the googles they are also 24/7 carpet cleaning in El Segundo CA 818 279 6054 Note similarity to AZ number.

When I call this number back, it is dead silence then a dissconnection

BTW, yahoo has their business name as being 24/7 carpet cleaning. I have a feeling that this is a made up business. they might just be trying to swindel people out of some money. i don't think a real company would be going through all this trouble. Especially since we're all in California and this company is supposedly in Arizona!!! How the heck can they clean our carpets???? Let's hope the government is really doing something about this.

I honestly think the do-not-call thing is a hoax. Its meant to scare phone solicitors from calling you, but there are no repercussions when they do. Much like the carpool lanes are supposed to supposed to keep single drivers away but many people have realized there is little chance of being caught even if you cheat. I can't imagine some of these smaller companies surviving a few$10,000 fines. Either they are not getting fined or the soliciting brings in so much dough the fines don't matter. I tend to believe the former.
