I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number. No message was left but the last person's description of the phone call is probably true. I received the exact same phone call from a number in Elmira, NY today.
A woman called me from this phone number. She said that she worked at Microsoft.
She had received a report from my computer. It was mentioned that my computer would be infected with virus.
The woman offered me that Microsoft would scan my computer on viruses. There was much noise in the phone connection. Her voice was hard to understand. There were many voices in the background to make me believe that she called me from a callcentre . But when I told her I did not believe that she worked for Microsoft, she quickly hung up...
Do not believe such calls !!
