I used to attend AIU Online, they used Higher One to distribute your student loans, if you have a refund owed to you. They try to trap you into keeping the account, I don't recommend it because you can't find a higher one bank anywhere.

My University started using this company for refunds. If you do not activate the card they send you, they will call you 3-5 times a day until you do. After activating the card you simply put that you don't want to use the card and that's the end of it.

Call constantly and nobody is on the other end, they just hang up. Wow is that annoying.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
