Political call from Congressman Bill Johnson, Ohio. He holds these often where it is an open line to a Town Hall type meeting that he is conducting. To bad all he wants to do is bad mouth Obama instead of talking about what he would like to do to improve our country.

Didn't pick up the call, no idea who it was, but obviously political polling from Republican party.

I told them I would kill them if they ever called me again. They believed it. I meant it.

Called 3 times in 10 minutes using the Caller ID "TELETOWN HALL!" Also used another number 202-480-2990. I wont answer it, I don't know anyone personally who lives in DC. Dont know what they want or care.

- So much for my "Do Not Call" list, I seem to be receiving unsolicited crap more and more. Especially computerized "Out Of Area" calls. So Aggravating!

This call came from compartners....hooked me into a town meeting Q&A type political rally. I was advised "if I chose to ask a question...push a certain number"...or, just to listen in....then "push a different number". The candidate speaking was identified going in and everything appeared to be on the up and up just as though I were present at an actual meeting. The best thing about it, I could leave when I wanted to, without disturbing anyone or crawling over others.....which I eventually did, as the TV show I was watching was a tad more entertaining....and....and a tad more interesting....y'know? Stuff I hadn't heard before!

Some robo-aggravation called us. When I hung up, the phone rang again and it was the same caller further along in the spiel. The line would not release until the message completed. This is an outrage.

Did not bother to wait and find out for what politican the call was placed. Tried calling back to leave a message to tell them to FUCK OFF!

Mine was a prerecorded message from Christopher Shays too. Since these calls are allowed, lets make our own list. Urge your friends & family to vote AGAINST anyone using this tactic.

Well I have been receiving calls from this number for most of this week. It has really upset me I sent a message about the Do Not Call Registry and this is the response:

The Do-Not-Call registry does not prevent all unwanted calls. It does not cover the following:

1) calls from organizations with which you have established a business relationship;

2) calls for which you have given prior written permission;

3) calls which are not commercial or do not include unsolicited advertisements;

4) calls by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations.

Well I found out that "political ads" fall under this category.

I received call from this number but no one was responding when I answered the phone - ???

I am on the do not call list. I do not know who this is, but next time leave a message or I will sue for my customary consulting fee of $125/.5 hour

I have Know idea who they are. I am on do not call list. All they say is "Freak" and hang up. The last time they called was Oct. 19th at 7:55 pm pst. They called before but do not have the date.

Very aggravated to be receiving these political calls. I believe that Peter Roskam is using mud-slinging, extremely negative advertising through the auspices of the National Republican Committee, who are, frankly, slime. I'm on the do not call list so I don't know why or how the NRC seems to think that those rules don't apply to them, but it's definitely part of their M.O.; sheer arrogance.
