How do I stop them from calling?

9 calls in 4 hours. No one there when you pick up. When I called back, there were 3 options: press 1 to speak to a customer service agent; press 2 to put my number on a "do not call list"; press * to end the call. I pressed 2 and eneterd my number and they are still calling. I'm afraid by entering my number I have validated it so now I'll get more calls, not less.
six calls within less than three hours....havent picked up
this number has called me ten times today, even after i told them not to call back after the fourth. They call every 31-32 minutes, so i'm guessing my number got put into an automated dialing system and because there is usually no one on the other line when i pick up, it's the first one to pick up wins. They said they would mail be stuff about getting grants and asked me how much grant money I wanted and I had no idea what they were talking about. They ask for $1.97 shipping TO PUT ON YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT at the end of the call. The number is out of jersey but every has a middle eastern accent.
this number has called us about three times in four hours. ridiculous! the last time they called i actually answered, but there was no one there. if i ever get someone on the line, they're gonna get an earful!
