Got a partial message about not wanting my medication to be interrupted. Caller ID gave me the number & location of the caller (Fairfield, NJ). Since I do not have any medical or business dealings with any company in the garden state, I will not be calling them.

OK, I did my home work and spent my own money after getting a few of these calls that show up as CALLCIA on caller ID, with know message and when I called, it rang twice then nothing, and everyone is sort of right. The calls come from a company named CIA, which stands for Client Instant Access a Company that is a messenger service and NOT Family Video or NJ CALL or Doctor's Assistance Corporation or any other name that might show up on your Caller ID. CIA is the ones calling you on behalf of other companies not just Family Video or any of the others, like some of you think. If you would have contacted them directly you would have found this out. CIA has Thousands of Clients, that they do messaging services for. You might be getting a call from them for any number of reasons. However I was informed that CIA doesn't do Bill Collections or let you know you owe someone or some business money. They are strictly a messenger service and they do make phone calls and emails to make their contacts on behalf of their clients. Their clients are the ones whom provided your phone number or in some cases your email address to contact you. You gave them the information and gave them permission to do so when you signed up for their services, so if you get a call and it says shows 973-439-1745
on Caller ID, then some where along the line you signed up for something like Family video or any one of CIA'S thousands clients that CIA works for. You gave them permission to do so weather you know it or not. Always read the fine read when you sigh up for something. CIA is a well establish company that works for other companies. To put it plainly they work for other companies and are only calling you because you told a certain company somewhere along the line to call you. They are after all doing what you gave them permission to do and told then too do when you either signed up for something or gave verbal permission to do so. In my case it was a call for Family Video to say they missed me and wanted to offer me a special offer. You can opt-out of this service but you must contact the business whom you gave permission to do so and NOT CALLCIA. I hope that this has helped some of you.
"Phil from Corporate" called ( before 7:00 AM!)to remind me to get my orders in because they would be closed for Thanksgiving.
Something fishy is going on here
973-439-1745 This is definitely Family Video's overdue video line. They utilize an automated dialer and call relentlessly, however it does not mean that you have an account with them, or a video past due, or are in collections. They simply have sloppy database scrub procedures and you may now happen to have the number they had for the person they are looking for. According to a store manager, their official policy is to start calling between 6-8 days rental past due. This is a past due video line, not a collections line. They are good about removing your number but you have to call your local store (Google it) because 973-439-1745 does not accept incomming calls. You're right, it is very rude and inconsiderate of them. But probably legal until enough people complain to the right agencies. email@example.com
just received a call from them, they asked if my name was xxxx xxxx. I said yes, and they hung up. what the hell?
The number called at 1:45 a.m. and every time I tried calling back it's always busy.
Received 2 calls from them today, no message or anything, 973-439-1745. Tried to call back but it is busy all the time. Checked number on whitepages.com and it is listed as "Nj Call" - no idea what that is.
I didn't answer. They left a "pink noise" (loud hiss) message on my machine.

I keep getting messages from a company I have never done business with and now they want to collect from me or send it to a collection agency. I am in northern California and have never been east of Iowa and that was 35 yrs ago.
Recorded message for RE/MAX targeting RE/MAX associates
It's an automated call from family video saying you have movies past due. got the same call within 5 minutes on my house and cell phone.
Last night this number called my house at midnight to tell me about a promotion some used car dealership is having. I live in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Called early in the morning 1am my time about 4am NY time. I live in Canada have no idea why they would call. Must be wrong number
I am assuming this is Family Video also. Had an overdue video. Called them back, but they never answered. After seeing on here who it appears to be, remembered we had a video, and took it back. No more calls. I called their video store and they told me they don't think they turned us over to their collection company, but the calls to us were computerized. Also couldn't write checks to a few companies while we were on this list. Now that we have returned the video, no problems. Pretty sad that a stupid video keeps you from using your checks.
I missed this call and didnt get an answer back. I'm heading to family video today, but this is the first time I've heard of anything like this from them.
NJ call 1 973 439 1745 ????
this number keeps calling, please stop
Family Video comes up on the caller ID. This is the 4th call in the past 2 days. Computer message, you have videos that are overdue. Never heard of this compan.
Rec'd call on 11-01; "NJ Call"; after checking msgs, call was about Philadelphia Orchestra change of program. I believe this is a temporary agency hired by orchestra to handle all their emergency calls.
They left like 4 messages within one hour..except the messages were blank. What's up with this?
This IS the auto caller for Family Video. I called their store nearest me and found that someone I know used my phone# for an account and had movies overdue. I called the co. and the [roblem was resolved quickly and pleasantly. My # was removed and the acct. shut down.
I worked at Family Video and this is a number of an automated system that calls people with movies that are past due.
