Call is a recording that indicates one must respond immediately to receive certain "account benefits" and when the attempt is made to connect as directed, the line rings as though transferring the call. It rings approximately 6-8 times and disconnects automatically. This is the SECOND call I have received from this number. The issue is the inability to tell them to "go to hell" because the system will not allow a connection.

Received numerous, over 50, calls from credit services..but I do not have accounts with them. Their goal is to get you to finance your credit card debt through them. They have beencalling from over 20 numbers across the nation for a year....and I do not have debt. I requested with many of their associates that they remove our number from their contact lists...to no avail..and some associates hang up on my when they call and I kindly ask for their supervisor.

OK here it is. Got a call from the spoofed number stating they would reduce credit card interest rates. Pressed 1 to speak with someone. Listened to their little spill and its basically the same stuff. Heather from account services crap. The place Personal Data Systems is supposedly run by lawyers under the name My Consumer Law Group.com (Law Group PA). They want a piece of your pocket book by supposedly making payments to your credit card company on your behalf, but of course they would be paid. The office seems to be small with lots of noise in the back gound. They use spoofed numbers and were going to actually send me some BS info packet after I sent them a payment. I gave them a bogus SSN, address, name and date of birth. After listening to the sales pitch, I told him I was in law enforcement and why were they violating the Do Not Call list. Of course he said they weren't and they would be happy to remove me. I've heard they have a high turn over rate and of course they are a scam. I think I scared the daylights out of this guy by telling him what I knew. The calls won't stop because they'll have some other idiots calling you because of their high turn over rate. The only folks who can stop them are the FBI because they are calling across state lines. The FBI can work with Attourney Generals of other states. I'm sure they will change the number that they gave me but call 1-866-659-9866 and ask to speak with Calvin. I told him the entire conversation was being recorded and that the number was being traced. He was paralyzed with fear. What you can do is to record that message they leave on your phone, call them at 866-659-9866 and play the message back to them. They don’t like it very much.

From a previous post:
"I'm an employee for PDS. We use leads from other companies to contact people interested in getting out of debt, but we do not call anyone unless they show an interest."
This is either a lie or the person who posted it doesn't know how their company operates. I get calls from these people all the time and have NEVER expressed interest in anything of the sort, as I pay off my credit cards every single month. My ONLY debt is my mortgage, which I'm happy to say I'm current on and have NEVER been late on.

They have called twice a day. Each time I press "2" They still call. One day I pressed "1" and told her we did not need their services and take us off their list and she hung up. We are still getting these calls. How do I get off their telephone list? What are my rights.

Tom suck a cock and get a real job, you all are low life who need to be removed from this earth. why don't you go door to door so someone can deal with you in person. Personal Data systems, debt law group or account services, no one has the right to call you at home and wake you up. Fuck off Tom and get a real 9-5 job

I've been getting many of these calls, too. This time I answered, then pressed "1" to get a person. I told her I didn't want to get anymore calls. She said next time, answer and press "2" and you will be dropped from their list. It's not right that they violate the DNC, but I'm going to press "2" next time just to get rid of them.

"Credit Services" is actually Personal Data Systems "PDS" (http://personaldatasys.com/). They have called me at least six times. When I asked for more information on the company, they hung up on me (I guess they don't want to be reported to the National Do Not Call Registry). Their REAL phone numbers are 866-659-9866 & 866-451-2778. 904-768-9653 is not a working number. Personal Data Systems represents The Consumer Law Group, P.A., 2001 W. Sample Rd., #412, Deerfield Beach, FL 33064, ph: 800-814-6756 fx: 954-691-2169 (http://www.myconsumerlawgroup.com/index.html). Feel free to report PDS to the National Do Not Call Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/).

The caller says that this is the final call to help me with my credit cards. The person continues that , there is no problem with my cards but they would like to help me get out of credit card debt. When I tried to call back I get a recording saying that the phone# is no longer in service although the call came just a minute before. I am fed up with these people and need them to stop bothering me.

They call constantly, for about 4 or 5 months now. You get an urgent recording about lowering your interest rate. You have to press 1. Then you get an aggressive telemarketer. They want my personal information. They said my "credit report" qualified me for their assistance in getting me lower interest rates. Which is a lie, because I just filed bankruptcy and my credit report is trashed. They refuse to take me off their do not call list. I looked them up on the net. They are a scam outfit who is seeking to get personal bank information to steal from people. The Feds need to get on them right away.

Turn them into the FTC this might help to stop them because
if they catchup with them they will stop them because it is
there job to find out who is doing this and they can and will
put a stop to this if poeple start turning them into the FTC.

They just called me too. I've been getting more & more of these calls, from different numbers, but SAME message - most are from Florida; one that blocked their number claimed to be from Atlanta, GA (I had to press 1 to get a REAL person) - which, btw, is illegal for them to do! Not to mention the fact I am on the Do-not-call list. Honestly, do these scammers GET our numbers from the DNC lists???

To clarify on any of you that sit around with nothing better to do than complain about phone calls, Credit Services is a completely different company from Personal Data Systems, which is a completely different company from The Consumer Law Group.

The Consumer Law Group does not advocate any press 1 to talk to a live rep marketing, nor does it use it itself.

Personal Data Systems does not either. I know because I'm an employee for PDS. We use leads from other companies to contact people interested in getting out of debt, but we do not call anyone unless they show an interest.

Credit Services sounds like they may be calling everyone known to mankind, but that is a company very separate from the law firm or PDS, so take note and take it up with Credit Services rather than discredit these other two companies.

I got the same recording: "This is our final attempt to contact you about lowering your credit card rates. Press 1 to speak to a representative about lowering your rates..." I pressed "1" and got someone (mistakinly didn't get a name), and asked about the company and which card he was calling about. He gave me evasive answers, and kept ansking if my dept was more than $3K. I said that I didn't want to answer and that I wanted to know what company ghe was calling from. "Credit Services" he kept saying. I asked to be taken off the list. At the end I said that didn't qualify and please take me off of the list. He said "Well, goodbye.. you're still on the list" and then hung up. It made me so mad!

Getting those nasty phone calls. Read Tom's message here and called Consumer Law Group 800.814.6756. Woman there said they used Personal Data Systems as an "enrollment" vehicle. Would not give me much more info, or exactly what the relatoinship between companies was, but when I asked for "real" # for PDS she gave me 877.680.1150. I asked for # for her corp office and got 561.886.1150 telephone answer service woman who asked me "which company I wanted" and if I was a client or vendor. I said a potential client of Consumer Law Group and got transferred to another woman who answered "corporate office." Asked for exec contact, like sales manager, and she said out of office for holidays. Asked name - would not give. Asked where he was - she would not give. Asked where she was and she said in Boca Raton FL.

877.680.1150 yielded answering recording. Plugged it into this website and looks like it is # for VersaDebt. site says, "Versadebt calls from 12 other numbers: 239-213-1290 678-238-1300 442-088-725981 207-490-5276 207-449-0887 208-844-7368 561-793-8708 954-733-7981 442-074-000080 208-816-5880 561-482-7092 305-595-9680."

Some unfortunate woman complained on that site that Versadebt had charged $999.00 on her card to lower interest on her credit cards, and refused to refund it. She writes, "I got a packet in the mail I filled it out and followed the instructions. you did not do anyhing that I hadn't already done myself."

Please someone get these people put out of the harrassment business.

This an automated call. They state they were trying to lower my credit card rates. This is almost certainly a scam where they attepmt to get you to give up your credit card number. When I call back, the number is disconnected. The caller is using a technology to insert a phony call back number.

Received a telephone call this am and there was a recorded message..."This is your last chance..." I pressed "1" and waited for a person to answer. (BTW - my number is a "Business"---Big Mistake!!! HUGE!!!) Finally, a woman picked up the phone and stated that her name is "Denise with Credit Services, did you press 1 to lower your interest rates?" I responded by saying: " No, You called a Business and please remove..." She cut me off and very nastily and loudly said: "DID YOU CALL TO LOWER..." I then MORE LOUDLY THAN HER: YELLED---THIS IS A BUSINESS -- STOP CALLING...AND HUNG UP THE PHONE!! So, for all of you people that have gotten HUNG UP on .... IN THEIR FACE FOR ME AND YOU!! I GOT TO HANG UP ON THEM FIRST!! Oh I forgot to mention, I will make it my life's work to expose these people and press charges against them. I liked the guy who reported this and stated to Yell Loudly, Blow a Whistle or make some other LOUD noise.."If they go deaf...they can't call..." Well....we can only HOPE!

Called me on the 17th at about 2:30pm (eastern). Caller ID just said "Florida". I pushed number '1' to talk to someone, then SCREAMED AS LOUD AS I COULD into the phone when a guy started talking. If they want to keep calling me, I don't care what number they steal and use, they're going to be afraid of getting my number again! I seriously recommend that everyone do the same thing to make them stop. They can't make these calls if they go deaf, right? BTW - It doesn't matter if you're on the Do Not Call Registry, because no reputable company looking for business who follows the registry is going to call you like this. Their business name has to show on the Caller ID, and the last time I knew, they can't use a voice recording to get a hold of you unless they have some kind of special permission. When you get a call like this, either blast their ears out by yelling, using a whistle, or some other REALLY loud noise; or give them a bunch of fake card numbers for them to try to use. They get PO'd but can't do anything because they're idiots, and you laugh, laugh, laugh....

Answered and got a message saying "This is our final attempt to contact you about lowering your credit card rates. Press 1 to speak to a representative about lowering your rates, or press 2 to let this rate offer expire." After a few seconds, the other end hung up.
The recorded voice was very high-pressure. I doubt this is from *my* credit card company, as they would have identified themselves and not called with a stupid recorded message. BEWARE!
