I've had the same experience as most of the complaints I've read to date. I received at least (1) call everyday for over a month. I finally got a "real" person and they said they were calling on behalf of AARP Prescription Plans, which my mother who I am a guardian of, is a member. At first I thought this was a scam to obtain information, but then I received a real surprise when after spending (45) minutes in telespace with AARP, learned that Edge Teleservice is a contracted third party to solicit AARP members for additional services. When I discovered this out I filed a complaint with the representative on the phone and will follow it up with a formal letter. If this is the case with you, I urge you to call AARP at 888-867-5575
and voice your opinion.
