Please tell me you're badly reproducing a pathetic spam message for everyone's study. Did you forget where you live, or is it really "Republic of Lending"? Horse Loans? Sure, I'd like to borrow a horse. What else will I do with these hay bales?

They are thieves and take money out of people's bank account by posing as emergency funders.
They create stamped checks in your account and deposit and take money without authorization and disapear. They even do not answer phone calls! I wonder where are the authorities?

I have received numerious calls from this number at different times during the day and night. Always seem to go to phone machine. Always about a loan that they need more information. I have not requested a loan and would not go about getting a loan thru a company that does this!!!! I'm on the do not call list and will report. 9-6-08.

This number called my PARENTS home phone line, saying it was Fortress, I was approved for Visa credit. I have not lived at that address or number for YEARS...VERY SUSPICIOUS! I want to know how they got my (very very old) information. I tried calling the number and cannot get a live person. It just says, "thank you for approving your credit request" when it answers the call, and asks for personal information. WTF?
Can you guess I'm a little heated?!
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OUT--and if you know of a way to find out how they got my info, I would REALLY appriciate it.

Same garbage everyone is getting from this company. Certainly a scam. Do not give any personal or private info out to them. I for one am totally sick of these calls and they do not remove you from their call list even if directed to do so....they so suck...someone needs to tell them to go get a real job like the rest of us...

6/26/08-rec'd same call w/$10,000 credit offer....1 to activate. Said I could call them back at 888-864-9519 but the number on the caller was 877-807-4696. Troublesome because they start out by saying it is in response to my application and I had not applied for any credit--makes you thing that someone else is trying to secure credit in your name/identity theft. Very annoying. I did a search on the internet and came across this web page...so here is my update. I also am on the do not call list!

I don't have my cell phone on during the day so the message was left to my voice mail. Since my cell phone number is on the "Do not call" list, I reported it to the FCC and indicated in the comments field that this company has called me several times but appears to be using different call back numbers to avoid tracking.

I called the 3 back and waited for the their system to release the call and got an immediate call back from Juan from Sixtel,LLC at the number 1-770-783-5969. It was the same name listed as from the previous caller(Juan) They call themselves an auto loans network, just a hustle. I am on the do not call list and will report as well.

I received numerous calls (every three days) on my cell phone from this number and other 877 numbers that all referred to an auto or personal loan.

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO TO GET IT TO STOP...

1. Record the date and time of every call you receive.
2. Send a CERTIFIED LETTER to the following addresses demanding that your phone number is removed from this and any other lists. State in the letter that the company is in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and that if the calls continue you will take legal action.
3. IF THE CALLS DO NOT STOP, YOU CAN SUE IN SMALL CLAIMS FOR $500 FOR EACH CALL.

The addresses to send the CERTIFIED LETTERS to are:

Stored Value Marketing, Inc.
12707 High Bluff Dr., Ste. 200
San Diego, CA 92130

Martin Crowley
American Legal Services
237 S. Sierra St.
Reno, NV 89501

Since SVM is a Nevada Corporation, make sure you also send to American Legal Services listed above. This is the company that would receive small claims papers if you need to serve the company for continued violations.

I sent TWO CERTIFIED LETTERS for $3 each (a small price to pay for peace), and one week later the calls STOPPED. Too bad... I wanted to sue the pants off these guys since I had received over 10 calls and had them all recorded. That would have been $5,000 in small claims court.

Good luck!

These idiots call at all hours, the originating number was 877-807-4696, they left a msg. telling me I'd been approved for a $10,000. line of credit, to accept press 1 or call back to 888-864-9519, where you get another voice msg., blah, blah, blah...I didn't answer the original call nor did I call back to the 888 #. I tried the link (http://www.ripoffreport.com)noted in the bottom msg., tried inputting the 888#, but it stated they had no reports on that number. Then it brought me to some pay site, which I promptly closed out of.

Several calls from Fortress Secured, Incorporated saying I had been approved on my recent credit application for $10,000.00 platinum visa account. Have not and will not apply for any of these kind of things and they offer at the time of call to press 9 for one thing and 1 to accept the offer. I have saved two of these calls on my answering machine and contacted the telephone company to alert them. I also am putting this on http://www.ripoffreport.com so others don't fall prey to their rip-off.

Hello. My name is Tim. I'm with Equistar Debt Solutions. I've called all the numbers (except my own, obviously) to check on "Stored Value Marketing." I have no idea who they are; but they are fraudulently misrepresenting my company. We've communicated with our phone provider, the FTC and the local police department. There is red tape in dealing with this situation. I want you all to know that there is no link between Equistar and Stored Value Marketing. If anyone knows more about these people, please call me 866-377-8271, ext. 240). It appears that they have "spoofed" my number and use it as a way to disguise themselves. Any technical advice on dealing with their rotating caller ID numbers would be appreciated.

I did the same thing Mike G did and put in fake information to see who would call me back. Guess what??? Same number called me back. I called the 866 number Mike listed for Equistar and spoke to a guy there. He assured me that they don't know anything about this and he will be doing research to see who is using their phone to make these calls.

The phone number they are using now is 888-366-9070. They have several Websites including the ones listed form other people already. The company knows we are on to them as they keep changing domain hosts at fairly regular intervals. I spoke with people from several of the hosted domains. They said they will give the information to the FTC, but who knows. I have turned all the information I have found over to the FTC and hopefully this bastard will be caught.

I got a call on my cell phone today from displayed number 714-460-9304. They asked for name which was one I had used on fake application to the 888-864-9519 Stored Value Marketing telemarketer.
Caller identified company as Equistar in Santa Ana, CA. When I mentioned connection to unlawful telemarketing she said she would get a supervisor and put me on hold for a few minutes until I hung up.
The company is:
Equistar Debt Solutions

Santa Ana, CA 92705

I do not know the details of their link to the Stored Value Marketing telemarketer, but they are definitely linked.

The commercial called my cell phone during the weekends three times. I am forced to call back and remove my number from their list. I thought tele-marketing cannot make calls to cell phone. I have no clue how do they get my phone number. I don't know how and where to report this spam.

They call me at home and at work. No bank or rep name. Just received the info in mail Yesterday. It's a club not a Visa or Mastercard. Just a big ol' scam.

received at call from this number at 8:16 pm. This call may be coming from a company called Stored Value Marketing in San Diego, CA. I received 11 calls from these folks in June. Calls stopped, started up again.

I received a call stating that I had been approved for a 10,000 credit line and an unsecured credit card ranging from 300-10,000 dollars. Although I activated the cards by phone approximately one hour ago, I have decided that I am not in a position at this time to open a credit card account. Please cancel any activation you have in my name. I have been unable to get a live person to talk to about this activation.

These bastards call multiple times a week with no end. If you go to their website (888....) you can be added to their DNC list. However, do you really trust them to stop calling.
