I was drawn to "Virginia"'s posting which reads:
"I received a call @ 3:30PM. The said "Don't be alarmed". I listened to the recording and pressed 1 to speak to someone. I got a live person. When I asked his name, he said "Bob". Then I ask him for his phone number. He gave me this # 1-888-277-0446. I then asked what the company name was, he said "Account Services". He said he was assigned to help people who couldn't afford to pay their credit card bills. I asked "Bob" card company he worked for. He said he works for hundreds of banks that give out credit cards. I then asked "Bob" which bank he worked for pertaining to my card. He couldn't answer. I told him "If you can't give me the name of the bank, then this is a scam, pal". He hung up on me." SINCE: Yesterday, I phoned a number given on my new BANK OF AMERICA MC credit card to activate the card. After following menu directives, I was connected to a man named "Bob" who answered by saying "Account Services". He asked me for either my social security number or my Account number. After giving that, he said someone else's name was on the card and I should give that address or mine,etc...Anyway, finally he said, It looks like the card is already activated. Then, today I got this call. Is Bank of American with Toro Bravo LLC or selling our info to them?

I also am on the do not call" list. I did *69 and the phone number was 1-850-916-3033.

I wonder if the best way to stop this moron would be to give him wrong information such as a 30 digit credit card #.

Hi hate scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
