this number is from a robo dialer who dialer for many different companies. So if you are getting called from this number several times it might not be from the same company each time. The trick is to be removed from the dialer's data base not the company who answers the phone. Good Luck with that....

I am pissed off because it cost me for each damn text message. I would like to ring somebody's neck.

I called 1-800-943-3250 the company is Mutual ?? Savings.......
He said they're not with the 111-1110 and 111-1111 numbers but proceded to take my number and add it to their dnc list................then after I hung up I off course got a call right to my home line!!!
My home line is registered on the dnc list........but my cell never was and it gets the most of the calls.........

The government website where you register your phone numbers on the DNC has a page where you can report numbers that repeatedly call. I've received a few of these. Oddly enough never on my house phone, but always on my cell (which is also registered on the government DNC). Telemarketers all have access to the government's DNC list, but if they actually use it to call people, they face major fines, so if you find you are getting calls, go to https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng and "File A Complaint". I kept getting calls from 000-000-0000 on my cell phone, and reported it - I don't get those calls anymore. I'm going there now to file this 888-111-1110 as a complaint... and check that my cell phone number is still registered.

This number calls my cell phone everyday once a day, sometimes 888-111-1111 and sometimes 888-111-1110 usually trying to reduce my interest rate or tell me my insurance is expired, I am on the do not call list... they still call, everyday sometimes twice. Total calls on my cell phone from both numbers in the last 30 days equals 47. If anyone knows anyway to stop it... let me know.

This isn't the government's fault so get off it. Don't like it here leave. They call me and annoy me. I just keep calling them back on thier other numbers and ask them wtf. Anyone can purchase a DNC list and the low lifes use it against you but blaming the government? Grow up.

Received call from this number. Have been receiving similar "reduce your interest rate" scams almost daily. Keep requesting to be taken off their list. This time I dialed 1 and got a "live" representative and I asked to be taken off their list. The first thing he asked me was "What is your name?" I repeated I wanted taken off their list and refused to give him my name. He asked me again and I repeated I wanted them to take me off their list. He said OK and hung up. I will most likely get a similar call tomorrow from a new number. P.S. - They are calling both my home phone and work phone; both numbers are on the do-not-call list.

I always press one and try to ask politely for them to take my number off their list as i do not have a credit card, but they always hang up on me before i can finish talkin. Sometimes they hang up on me before they even finish what they are saying!!! i can't deal with this crap.

I've had a bell cellphone for about a year and a half now. I used to receive one call a day from 888-111-1110, but now i'm receiving 2-3 calls a day. I have not once answered it but thanks to this site i now know who it is and will continue to not answer when they call. I contacted bell to see if i could maybe put a block on the number and they suggested that i change my cellphone number in order to make the calls stop, which is not really a good option. Looks like we're stuck folks. Ah well lol.

I just got called by this scam company!! BTW- if you really want to PO a scam company like this, then do what I just did by keeping them on the line asking as many sweet dumb questions like "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that, can you please repeat what you just said", or "I'm sorry the line is kind of garbled, could you please speak a little slower and more clearly", and ask them as many specific questions about the nature of their business or company as possible, without divulging any personal info what so ever. Totally mess with their mind thinking they're going to bag you for a sale. Then, when you've wasted about 20 minutes in lost time to them (to a telemarketer time=money), claim that you just did a search on their number that they are calling from, and now you know where they are, and that you are really the spawn child of Satan, and that you are coming to get them!! I swear you will never get called back by them again!! And best of all, you have the last laugh for the reverse psychology psych. out!! Try it!!

I have been receiving a call everyday on my cell phone (and so has my 17 year old son on his). Calls are always in the morning (MST), recorded message "Hi, I'm Lisa...records show I'm paying too much interest...press 1 to talk to a person". I did this yesterday so I could tell them where to get off. My cell is for privacy (which I don't get on my home phone). I feel I am truly being violated. It is annoying and downright frustrating. You try to call back the 1-888-111-1110 number and reach a recording saying not in service. I intend to track these people down (Credit Card Services) and if I have to - sue them for harrassment which is exactly what this is!

I have to change my phone number because of scum like this. Telus is sure up on the technology to take my money out of my account, but they seem to be stuck in the 60's when it comes to telling me who is harassing me. If you are a telemarketer, please go to hell.

Called from 888-111-1110. The recording claims that "according to our records", I have too high an interest rate on credit card debt and to press "1" to lower my debt. Since I have 0 credit card debt, I found that interesting, so I pressed "1". When I asked them how their records indicate anything about me, they hung up. S-C-A-M
