Caller says she is recruiting fro Freah Market in Delray Bch, FL. I live in Atlanta and have no idea how my work number got on this list.
Missed call. Like a dummy I returned it. Machine answered and said; "thank you for calling the Voice Messaging Center. Also gave two options, which I did not use>"
Collections from Ashford University. Stop calling. They don't have the right number.

Cal Water Company. Reminding me to pay bill....
Im sick and tired of the calls from this number. It doesn't matter what time of day it is that they call. Right now it's 8:05 PM in New Jersey and guess what? Another call. I'm on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST
From the way these responses read, this phone number must provide a service to anyone who needs robo-calling to distribute messages to their area.
My caller left a message from a candidate running for township council.
10/31/2012 6:19pm EDT -- WMECO (Western Massachusetts Electric Company) calling to confirm that power had been restored after Hurricane Sandy.
I received the call from the same number. The call was silent, I just waited and it went off.

Got the same call from Lifetime Fitness at the Rim in San Antonio, in regards to being closed during the first week of October. Automated notification.
Got a call from Lifetime Fitness, notifying me that they will be closed for renovations next week.
I just got an automated call from this number. They left a voicemail. It was from my childs' school reminding me there's a big social studies test on Friday and that she needs to make flash cards.
Weird how this number is for so many different things!
I also received a message regarding medical transcription and I do not recall applying for a job relating to this. She also said basically the same thing RZ said in the comments below. I am not sure what they said the company name was, it is hard to understand. I tried to call it back and I just get a voice mail . I believe it is spam.
Woman left a message regarding a medical transcription (MT Mobile) job I had applied for (did not apply for a job) and a link they had sent to my email address (I don't know what she was talking about) to complete the testing for the next step in the hiring process. I have never heard of these people and cannot find anything about this company online. I have not applied for a job, so I don't know why they would be contacting me by phone or by email.

Called twice within 5 minutes on Fri, 23 June. Associated with 503-403-2574
and other numbers. They claim to be Wells Fargo but they have poor phone procedures and ask too many personal questions they should already know. Do not give them your account number or social security number.
Triwest reminding me to get a flu shot. They really should pick from a different list of numbers.
robo call about CL/p services available during upcoming hurricane "Irene" here in NewEngland.
This caller (a deep-voiced man with a slight drawl) left the following message on my machine: "I'm sorry. I have the wrong number."
Seems innocuous enough, however there are hundreds (possibly thousands) of complaints about this number on numerous spam-reporting sites (including here on whocalled.us). I guess I'm just glad that he wasn't trying to lower my credit card rates or tell me that I won a free cruise. :-)
Capella University as of June 22, 2011 was using this number to remind enrolled students to fill out their financial aid paper. Was a recording. My guess many companies with recordings use this number as in the past 6 months Ive seen American Red Cross and Electric Company's all with recordings use this number.
CL&P asking that I reduce my electrical use so that my neighbors can have uninterrupted service. It'll be a warm day in my house when I turn my AC off!

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. This isn't the first time from what my log shows. They either don't answer when you pick up or they leave dead air on the message. Very annoying especially when you are at work and see it come accross on your cell while on another call or in a meeting.
home phone received a call from this number on Nov 18 at 11:51 am (Central CA)but no message. Not the first time - often with no one there. We are currently on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but it doesn't stop 15-20 people feeling very free to call us early in the morning or at dinner time and hanging up on us after 2-3 rings! How DOES one get them to stop?
My computer zapped the call.
I concur with the previous that this is a robocall center. I'm writing this just as the polls are closing on election day. This call was from Congresswoman Donna Edwards, informing me that somebody was sending a false robocall message stating that Democratic Party objectives had been met and there was no need to vote. She was informing us that the objectives had NOT been met, and encouraged us to vote. She was telling the truth about the robocall with the false message -- we had received the false message moments before.
Stopped by home at lunch (Northern California) and noticed my message light blinking very fast. This one called today at 12:26pm PST but no message, probably because the recorder is FULL because I've been getting so many politcal calls. I've given up answering my phone when I'm there when it's an unidentified, toll free or unknown number, but I always check the number just to see if it's something I need to check out. I called the number back several times but it was busy every time I tried. I suppose that could mean its simply a ROBOCALL Center.
I thought I'd Google the number and I am amazed to see the variety of people that call from this number. I do have a Macy's account but it's current and has a low balance. I have neve owned a Dell and probably never will. I have also seen that it belongs to a Takhar Group (collection company) and Comcast. Is it unusual to have so many people/companies associate with ONE phone number?
I'll just be glad when election day is over and all of these recorded calls stop and I can answer my phone again without someone telling how to vote/think. I've voted every year since I was 19. I wish the politicians would worry more about getting this country back on its feet and less about "educating" me on their "opponent".

How does one get them to stop
Call was from Peter Foy-vote yes on Prop. 23 (California)
No one spoke when I answered.
I'm on the national do not call list, It seems if David Vitter is running for Congress then he should honor the idea of law or atleast have the empathy to know that some people actually work doing dangerous jobs. This is DELL COMPUTER calling with an automated message about tracking info for a warranty exchange I have pending with them. This is NOT a bill collector.
No one there... I hung out on the line for about 45 seconds before an automated message begain. It was a Dell Warranty Returns Team 'courtesy call' reminder for me to return parts (even though there was not enough time for them to get back when I returned the faulty parts the same day I rec'd replacement). This isn't normal for Dell in my experience (we do about $1M/annual business with them), I think they've hired some third party for this fiasco.
2 calls tonight, 4 in the last month. No on there.
Calling for my sister who lived with me for a while, as a freeloader. suck.

The phone they called is on the "do not call" list. DO NOT CALL!
Automated call service apparently hired by our local school district - the call told us to check our email for a notice. On this day it was that someone had scrawled graffitti on a boys room bathroom that someone would blow up the school. Nothing happened, just the school wanting to be sure we knew what was occurring.

Political robocall. I would like to know how one can opt-out of these...I get about 5 a day and they are annoying.
Companies use this outgoing number to contact everyone on a large list. It could be anyone at any time who has paid to use the service. In my case today it was the New York Jets who called as a message to season ticket holders from the coach.
Left a very threatening message...."This is the Takhar Group....MUST call back immediately at 877-849-3243
or go to website www.takhargroup.com.

Definitely harassment, probably issuing from same company, Gotten worse since I told one of the creeps where to go
Received a single call from this number. The voicemail was a message from LifeTime Fitness, and it was for an emergency announcement for one of their facilities. I agree with whomever it was that stated this was some sort of company that handles bulk calls for various clients.
Since LifeTime is a company I do business with, there was no violation of DNC, and it was an informational, non-telemarketing call, so there was no violation of the robocall ban.
Got a call to my business with a recording talking about the ASI Show, a trade show for the printed apparel and sign industry as well as basically any other kind specialty advertising involving a print of some kind.I find it interesting that this number is accosiated with so many different companies, i guess it's a telemarketing company that places bulk calls for clients from a phone list. My business is part of that specialty advertising industry and i have attended those trade shows so makes sense that i would get a call.
Calls 7-10 times per day, is a collection agency for Sprint, who I used to have a wireless laptop card with. The card DOES NOT WORK IN BUILDINGS. Sprint continues to maintain that "it works in your yard" so it is good. I have spent at least 50 hours on the phone trying to CANCEL this service, they DO NOT LISTEN. They PROMISED to have a supervisor call me, but never did. They have suspended the service but have not callcelled it yet, even though I have asked them to. I have my US cellular phone teathered to my laptop and IT WORKS IN EVERY BUILDING AND EVEN UNDERGROUND IN THE LOOP. The SPRINT CARD DOES NOT WORK. I have replied with a certified letter to the collection agentcy that SPRINT HAS SENT AFTER ME, but they refuse to acknowledge that they were NEVER ABLE TO PROVIDE WORKING WI-FI in my house or various INDOOR locations. DO NOT BUY A SPRINT CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care what they tell you, THEY ARE LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was Dell letting me know that a laptop I shipped back for RMA had been received at the depot. It was an automated message and they DID leave a voicemail. Would be nice if their caller ID said "dell support."
unknown....when I answered it was just a recording telling me it was an important matter regarding Macy's to call 1 800-511-3207
. It did not say who it was calling or what it was in regard to. I do have a macy's credit card and I am also waiting for their furniture Store to also call me regarding a delivery. so I called them and a man answered who was a little hard to understand with his accent and the other noices on his end of the line. He asked how he could help me and I told him I did not know since they called me and told me to call his number. He said it was probably be because I had either a Macy's or Bloomingdale's account. He asked me for my phone number and my name. I told him and that is when he told me it was a courtexsy call for Macy's with probably a past due balance. he was then able to pull it up and told me my past due date and balance. it was correct because I went onto my Macy's account on my computer. he said he could take a payment over the phone, but I preferred to do it on my computer myself for security reasons since I had never been called this way. he said he would note it on the account and was very nice although it was hard to understand him!

Called twice this morning at 3:59am and 4:09am. Home number is on the Do Not Call registry. They even left a voicemail of beeps the first time. Called the 866-849-3243
number I found on another site and asked to be taken off the list...we'll see if it works.
The number was familiar, so I kept dumping the calls, but finally let it go to the answering machine. It was an Illinois state representative, who left a message about town hall meetings.
This Number comes through a "Toll Free". We received 20 calls in less than 30 minutes, this morning.
An actual legit call from 866-849-3243.
My town's "Reverse 911" system, probably to everyone in town, informing us that the town election tomorrow is delayed by a week due to the big snowstorm forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

MACEYS CONTINUES TO CALL MY NUMBER EVERY 30 SECONDS, "LITERALLY" MY PHONE DOES NOT STOP RINGING EVERY DAY. I FINALLY CALL THE NUMBER BACK THAT THE RECORDED MESSEGE SAYS TO CALL BACK AND THE MACEYS WORKER ASKS ME WHEN I AM GOING TO MAKE MY 15 DOLLAR PAYMENT. I HAVE ALREADY DISCUSSED MY ACCOUNT WITH MACEYS SEVERAL TIMES AND AM NOT DUE UNTIL THE 22ND OF DECEMBER, YET THEY CONTINUE TO CALL LITERALLY EVERY 30 SECONDS WITH THIS RECORDED MESSEGE. I AGAIN ASK THEM TO STOP CALLING ME SO MANY TIMES A DAY AND TOLD THEM I WOULD REPORT THIS
Recording telling us of a lost person in our area. Sort of an "Amber alert". The person actually was lost and was later found safe.
I got this call yesterday. CID read "voice messaging," so I didn't bother to answer. I just listened to the message that was left on my answering machine and it was a recording of Michelle Obama reminding me of the senatorial runoff election here, in Georgia, tomorrow. Don't mind that call, but I wish that what shows on the CID was a bit more telling.
Seems that this number can be assigned to different parties for different reasons, as necessary.
I've had 8 freakin calls from this number in the last half hour. Why the heck are they calling? When I call them back it doesn't even let me speak to someone.
Political call from Mike Strain La Comissioner of Agriculture. Didn't stay on long enough to see waht he wanted me to vote on. I guess political calls are exempt from DNC list.
The call all the time about some old 7 year old cellular one phone bill due. I have never had a cellular phone. They call my home phone and ask for my social security number. They are scammers as far as I'm concerned.
Don't give them any information.
Called my work number at BofA in Charlotte. Must be an autodialer, because I had 6 missed calls from the same # between 7:39pm & 8:00pm.
I called the number back and exercised the option of having my number removed from their calling list. The recording said it would take one day. The next day my number was called THREE times, two hours apart.
This number has been callin gme 1-2x daily for about a month. Today they've upped it to 3 calls in about 6 hours. When I answer I hear what sounds like a recorded message getting ready to play, so I hang up. I am on the Do Not Call list.
i've gotten 3 calls in the past half hour
been called several times in a two-day span. getting really annoyed. i have put my name on the do not call list, was still getting calls from telemarketers and put it on again. getting calls from these idiots now.
This is a recorded political message. It said "This is Governor Janet Napolitano. Please vote for (blah blah blah) for the House in the upcoming elections."

then 866-849-3243 then 2 more calls from Speedy Air Con Then another call from 866-849-3243. All calls within 12 mins from first to 6th call. Interesting technique to use a local number to test if a number is good before the autodialier rings the phone off the wall. Guess it is time to turn off the ringer again for several months. Answering machine has been off for 18 months now.

I've received a call from this number four times now, from someone who says his name is Scott from Walmart. He says they got my application but I need to log onto a certain website so I can complete the application. I never applied at Walmart and don't know what he's talking about.
I just called the number back and there was a female voice recording saying that I could block them from calling me back if I press one. It said it would take one business day for it to take effect. There was a couple seconds delay in the recording so don't hang up if you hear silence for a second.
They got Callwave and the automated female voice said, "Fine answering machine! Thank you!"
