called us at 8:42 pm and no one said anything, if this is a collection agency they have no business calling me because I am not in any debt.
Called back and it went to a rapid busy signal
- NRA (June 7,8,9,10 of 2008) I started getting these NRA calls after "Heather from Account Services" stopped calling. These individuals have called 4 times this week looking for "Mike". The past few times I've told them either to stop calling or that "Mike" was dead. Today when they called, we played along to see what the scam involved. They were seeking credit card info to update "Mikes" NRA membership. Also, they informed us that if we did so immediately, we'd get a new leather jacket. WOO HOO! On a positive note, I talked with my phone carrier who informed me that there was NOTHING they could do and I should have my number changed. Gotta love the service.
"Heather from Account Services" again.......
- Unknown Name (5-22-8) Picked up call just to see if it was Heather again. It was and she wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. I pressed 2 to be removed from her list......... Like that will do any good.
- Ft. Lauderdale FL (5-15-8) Didn't pick up I am tired of playing with them.
- Ft. Lauderdale FL (5-9-8) Credit card reduction rates
- Port Saint J FL (5-3-8) Credit Card Rate Reduction
- Microstar Software (4-30-8) Returning my call requesting a software update (not)
- Kansas City MO (4-17-8) Extend Car Warantee
- Miami FL (4-16-8) Credit Card Rate Reduction
- Moorestown NJ (4-3-8) Credit Card Rate Reduction
First time getting a call from this #. My 18 year old son answered the phone. The person on the other end asked for my husband and when my son said he was not home, he said she said something in a foreign language and hung up on him. Have not gotten any further calls from them after that. Wonder what tomorrow will bring...
Just informed Geek Squad that if the perps don't stop calling that I will cite the survey company and Geek Squad in a formal complaint to my state's attorney general's office.
They keep calling me too. This time the connection was so bad they hung up. What a pain to run to the phone for nuthin'.
Called numerous times . 6:56pm 7:55pm 8:31pm 8:53pm 9:19pm 9:30pm and 9:39pm.
Is this not considered Harrassment?
I have got no clue as to who these ignorant people are and frankly I don't care .GET A LIFE!!!
Survey company gathering information for the Geek Squad (we had service with them lately).
It's not a collection agency anymore - it's a telephone survey. They promised that they weren't selling anything, so I participated. Wasn't too painful.
Constantly call... Got fed up and I answered the phone "no answer" just dead silence. If they are collectors then I guess they don't get much of a pay off due to lack of communication on their part.

I get infrequent calls from this number. Got 2 this evening so I decided to google it. What I'm reading is that this is a debt or credit collector. There was no message left. I have no idea why I would be contacted by a credit collector. I'm current on all of my bills. Hmmm...
Called the number back and was told there was a new national directory and to call 10 15 15 800...WTF, no way,
Somebody called me from this number on 11/27/07 and 11/29/07. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize for security reasons. I called the number today to find out who it is. I got a automated voice message stating: THE NUMBER YOU HAVE DIALED IS ASSOCIATED WITH A NEW NATIONAL DIRECTORY SERVICE; TO GET MORE INFORMATION ON THIS COMPANY, HANG UP AND DIAL 10 15 15 800 EACH CALL WILL BE $5.49. They didn't add the EACH CALL WILL BE $5.49 part til after I called the number a second time. The first time I called the number, I actually hung up and dialed the 10 15 15 800 and hung up aft I discovered what sounded like an add for ATT's 10 service. I BETTER NOT GET CHARGED THE $5.49. There is no reason for any collection agency to be calling me.
Called my cellular phone while I was on vacation - did not answer and no message left. I don't owe anyone any money so if this is a collection agency as some of you say they are barking up wrong tree.

three calls, three nights in a row, around 8:00 pm
Joan Quinn Nov 13th, 2007
Rang twice and hung up. Called back, message said "This telephone number has changed. The new number is".. and then got complete silence.
Called back and not a valid number.
Phoney number - I dialed the phone number and got a message stating "Invalid area code or phone number."
Whoever called didn't speak upon answering when we picked up. Redialed the number and it rang about 10x then there was a voice message that said *This is Jolene*...junk call... hung up.
There is never anyone there if I answer.

they never leave a message and when you call it, it says the number is no longer in service. very annoying!
This is a Collection Agency - Dunn & Bradstreet. Their address is 400 Penn Center Blvd Pittsburgh, PA 15235. Their main office number is 412-829-3731
, and their toll-free Customer Care line is 800-234-3867
. They called me and hung up as soon as I answered the phone, and when I called back the 866 number that they called me from I got a recorded message that the number is no longer in service. Don't know what kind of game their playing.
I do not answer and they never leave a message. They call all the time...several times a day. I think they are located in Canada.
I didn't answer, they hung up after getting my answer machine. I called back and it said D & B Resource Center - hours 8-6 - it is now 7:30 PM in California when they called me!!! I have had this number for 16 years and I do not we anyone ANYTHING so why are they calling!!!???!!!!
someone from this number called me. i wasn't home and they did not leave a message. When I called back the following day, the greeting was
"Thank you for calling the DMV..." Doesn't say what state "the DMV" is in. They keep you holding on for as long as you want to stay on the phone, with a message that says something like "your call is important to us, all agents are busy" etc. I've had my current telephone number about 2 months, and I've gotten more collection calls for the people who had this number before me than I get from people I actually know. When I finally get these people on the line, and if it is a dunning call, I'll ask them to take my number out of their auto dialer, especially if this call isn't for me.
I think a lot of these collection ass**les know people have caller ID and they are NOT going to answer a unfamiliar number BUT they also know they have your attention and your "thought" when they call as you look at the caller ID and its almost as good as a personal contact.
The BEST help site I've seen AND USED is Budd Hibbs. Check him out. He smacks these companies down.
Here's the url--bookmark it and use it! I've sent letters as he suggested in a FREE book download. Go and get it--and slam these bastards in the ass:
The American Credit System Guilty! Until Proven
Scroll down. You'll see the d/l info. Good Luck. I've had great success with it and I am NOT a sham for him either. IT WORKS.
This is a collection agent.
Rude, hangs up on me when I answer the phone. Knows he has the wrong number but keeps calling.
caller could hardly speak English
Dun & Bradstreet. Lowlife scumbag collection agency
