This person keeps calling my number for a year now. They have been told over and over again I don't know the person they r looking for. They donot mind giving out personal information either. They need to be stopped.

I have received this call four days in a row now. This company is named Alliance (?) and they ask for Willie Hall. They have been told several times not to call this office that it is a place of business. The lady who calls is named Camille, if this is her real name? She has been very rude and asked why she is given a hard time when she calls and wants to know if Willie Hall can accept personal calls. I don't know who these people really are but I am very tired of them calling the office!
The calls I'm getting come from three separate numbers I've idetified so far. The couple of times I've held on the line to see what they say, its some guy probably from India with thick accent I can't freaking understand. I have an outstanding debt but if I haven't called them back the first 25 times what the fuck makes em think I;m going to change my mind when I cant even understand them?
Robin: You're a target of skip-trace, a favorite sport of collectors. The typical reps are trained to assume everyone they reach is a liar, so verbal requests and denials bounce off. To stop them cold, send a paper "cease-comm" via USPS Certified with return card. One more call past that and the collector owes _you_ a check. Learn your FDCPA rights at FTC-dot-gov.

They keep calling, and I have no idea why. They keep asking for some that does not live at my address. When I asked them to stop calling, she hung up on me. Then called again the next day, and the day after that. This is ridiculous. Does anyone know how to block or stop them?
I have a suspicion that an online employment agency may be selling information to these collection agencys. I do not have a landline, however; I have cell#. This personal information has not been shared with anyone, except this agency. I am getting calls for a debt (and I am not proud of it) that was unpaid back in 2000. In my state, the Statute for recovery is 4 years after last payment posted and it no longer appears on my credit report. I disconnected my landline over a year ago, why have they not been calling my cell? It is only now, that I have voluntarily given up this information online, I am being bombarded.
These people call all the time , like every 10 minutes some days. They never leave a message. I called the number back and I was not the person they were looking for, said they'll take me off their list. We'll see! If they continue to continuously call me then ther are going to be reported. If companies would just leave a message telling who the hell they are and what they want, people wouldn't avoid them like the plague.
Some non english speaking person keeps bothering me & won't tell me any details, so finally I told her we don't talk with non english businesses, she yelled in my ear , OK fine and slammed the phone down
what are they a collection company for?
