Comment on calls from 866-379-2003

April 15th, 2014 Rick K

Like many of you, I have been inundated with call after call after I placed an order for a product. I finally got fed up and answered. I took control. That's the key people. Take control. Don't let them dominate the conversation. Don't acknowledge that they have the right person, don't confirm your address. Take to offensive side instead of the defensive side. He tried to start telling me about giving me a $100 something for being a loyal customer and I cut the bastard off at the knees. He could not get a word in edgewise. Domination! That's what you have to do. By the time I was done counter-acting everything he was trying to say, he was practically begging me to let him put me on the Do Not Call list. He was so flustered by not being able to follow his script that he was totally speechless. Tried to tell me that I could call ........, but again I cut him off and told him that I had no intentions of calling anyone and he/they needed to just stop calling. Force people, force. Don't let them control you. Take control of the situation right from the very second you answer the phone. Don't give into their tactics. They may try to scare you into submission, but remember, YOU hold all the cards and YOU have the upper hand and the high ground. Okay, enough cliché's. Just take control and tell them to fuck off at the end and hang up. You'll feel better trust me. And god forbid anyone crosses your path in the following few minutes. haha.

It's only been an hour, but we'll see if this worked or not.

Based on most of the posts; this call is from a scammer related to a TV offer purchase. I recently purchased HD night driving glasses and the next day these unsolicited calls started. 6 in the past 24 hours. They do not leave a message. I never answer a call from an "unavailable name" with an 866 number. If they really want to "verify" anything, then they will leave a message! I have add this number to call block so I will only get half of a ring.

February 25th, 2014 Cin FL

This number called saying they were one razor to verify my address and credit card number and I would get some savers magazine and free $100 in vouchers for gas. I told the guy I was not giving my credit card number over the phone he persisted that he needed to verify the card number for the package to be shipped. I told him I was already charged for my package and shouldn't need it again. My boyfriend even got on the phone and told him we didn't want it and he kept repeating the offer. Finally he got really nasty and said he wouldn't send it and hang up on him. We then called the number in one razor website for costumer service and they said they were a company that works with them and many other companies and connected me with them. The guy there said they were supposed to offer the extra service not force it on me. They were only given my address and last 4 numbers of my credit card and if I wanted the extra offer I would need to give it to them.

January 29th, 2014 Grit KS

get called 5 times a day - not answered once. Never leaves a message. Calls all times of day and evening.

January 28th, 2014 jen CA

when you buy something from them, they have information from you. They will call you and try conform something from you and then they will take money on your credit card.

January 22nd, 2014 Vonne GA

I ordered a chillow a couple days ago and got multiple calls from them today.

January 22nd, 2014 Martin NC

I tried to order Flex Seal, the people that holler on TV about their "Miracle" sealant. Yet to receive it. Now I have been bugged by TELEPHONE SOLICITORS trying to sell me a bridge to the moon, the Brooklyn Bridge and Lava surfing excursions. They cause me to cancel my debit card that I used to order their stuff with. Shipping charges are more than the price of the product. Stay away from them.

December 28th, 2013 Genie WA

Ordered a Switchblade trimmer a few days ago and the calls from this number have started to come in. Caller ID only says Toll Free and I don't answer those calls. They didn't leave a message. Received another call early this morning and didn't answer. I have since added their number to my blocked list.

December 16th, 2013 Ron Allen MI

These people are rude, there has to be a way to stop this type of calls

December 8th, 2013 mimi TX

the phone range at 8:15 AM Sunday morning and I thought they are prohibited from calling on Sundays, period!!! I didn't answer. Sunday is a day when people are busy trying to get ready for church, including us, and a day free of these pesky callers. They need to be reported and fined heavily!!!

December 7th, 2013 JH TX

Ordered a Funloom from the web and these guys called back with the "offer" to give me $100 of gas coupons. I was agreeable up until they wanted me to read them mu MC number to "confirm"" my master Card at which point I decided that it was a scam and told them to get lost. They were still talking when I hung up.

November 21st, 2013 Cee CA

Got four calls in the span of ten minutes. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. If they don't leave a message, I don't call back. Called again this morning, but only once. I ordered something online a couple days ago and from reading other comments, it seems to be connected with that. I blocked them, so if they call again, I'll never know!!!!

November 20th, 2013 pita PA

if you have comcast telephone service follow these instructions to get the number blocked. turn your phone on until you hear the dial tone. enter *60. follow the prompt to ADD numbers to your list. Type the number 1-866-379-2003. Listen for the confirmation the correct number has been added. Make sure the call screening feature on your phone is turned on. You can always call the comcast customer service number to help assist you if you are unsure about how to do it yourself.

November 16th, 2013 Bobbi AZ

I got a call from this number, asking me about some credit card purchase. I didn't know anything about it and told them that. The caller hung up. Caller ID showed it as QRI.

November 13th, 2013 FW CA

I purchased FlexSeal spray online.

This is a "marketing" caller, hired by FlexSeal "to confirm my shipping address". Yeah, right. They wanted to "give" me $100 in gasoline vouchers for signing up to some marketing scheme for $1.

Oh, please? Can I? Can I give you my email address too? Maybe you guys could arrange to have every piece of spam known to mankind delivered to my inbox, many times over, in perpetuity?

Asked them to add me to their "do not call" list. The guy said he would place my name on their "internal" do not call list.

F$%K FlexSeal. Never again. TV Products can go to Hades.

October 17th, 2013 Frustrated CA

Stop calling !!!!! Get me off your List !!

September 28th, 2013 CC VA

I have received 4 calls from this number in 2 days. They will not leave a message on the answering is very annoying.

September 24th, 2013 S GA

I called the number back and got a funny "blooping" noise....and they knew my name...they said "HI S----" I just hung up.

September 14th, 2013 DMC CA

Have received numerous calls from this number over the last few weeks and just tonight decided to answer (not recognizing the number) to tell them not to call. Turns out to be QRI with the same "budget savers" free $100 gas voucher, $30 a month program unless I cancel in 30 days program. Had to tell them 4 times that I did not want to sign up, don't send me the gas voucher and take me off your call list. These calls are a result of my order of Cutting Edge grass seed. They will be hearing from me too. They are extremely persistent, talk fast to try to confuse you and sign you up immediately before you know what hit you (they did not like my slow pace or questioning :) Thanks for everyone's comments and this forum. It's very helpful!

September 13th, 2013 KMG

Ordered a Chillow Pillow a week ago. Received email notification today that it finally shipped. And now I get a phone call from this number. Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer. I suspected when they wanted my phone number last week to complete the order that I might be getting more than I bargained for. We'll see how many times they call.

September 12th, 2013 mad customer MI

I've had calls from this number at 2 am!! I called them back to tell them to stop calling but I think they roped me into their stupid voucher program...

August 31st, 2013 levy RI

who is this what do they want,

August 21st, 2013 Da ID

Numerous daily and evening calls. Caller ID says QRI. Definitely a nuisance. Would like them to stop.

August 15th, 2013 Kirk TX

This is a company who under the guise of Flexseals "order confirmation", pushes a discount voucher program. They offer a hundred dollars in gas vouchers initially, but then they charge 1 dollar for the 14 day discount program trial, after that they charge your credit card $29.95 per month. I told them they could send me the $100 in gas vouchers, but I was not obligated to pay the $1 or enter their program, the rep the said they would keep the vouchers. They are not part of Flexseal, but are from a Company called Quality Resources. Very disappointing also my order with Flexseal, they could not send two different colors in the same box, and you had to order the second can bonus offer for an additional $10, thus making 2 cans a cost of $40 with S&H, probably would cost $8-10 if sold in a hardware store. Hope this helps everyone

August 10th, 2013 NA LA

Yes, after ordering Flex Seal, I received the same call from this number 866-379-2003. Someone stated that it was Budget Saver and that they wanted to send me a gas voucher. They also give me another phone number to contact 800-475-1942. They wanted my credit card information and street address over the phone. I told them I had given all that information on the internet when I ordered flex seal.

August 8th, 2013 KCH NY

I ordered two Chillow pillows off their website and something from HSN. I'm not sure which of those orders tipped off this barrage of calls. They called 5 times on Tuesday, 6 times yesterday (Wed.) and once so far this morning (Thurs.). I have the Number Guru app on my phone that blocks the call so that it doesn't ring and they're not able to leave a message. However, it still shows as a missed call. It's annoying to keep checking your missed calls only to find out it's these idiots calling again. After this morning, I went into my Sprint account and blocked the number there. So now they won't even be able to get as far as my phone.

August 1st, 2013 austin NJ

They called to confirm a chillopillow order and wanted to sell me a "free gas voucher". I denied it and he still wanted to send it to me. After about 10 tries I got him to understand I didn't want it and he ended the call. I spoke to an elderly gentleman who was very nice but was confused and really didn't know how to react to me when I said no

July 25th, 2013 KT OK

Been receiving calls from this number for several weeks, calls numerous times (6-8 times)per day, I just want them to stop!

July 13th, 2013 Bella TX

They keep on calling. I am refusing to answer because I've read all of the comments posted. Do they ever stop calling?

July 12th, 2013 PDAVIS CA

July 9th, 2013 Jenn TX

I called them back, said they were calling to thank us for our recent purchase from They also signed me up for some coupon service. "Automatically" of course. I'm guessing it is a catch all call center.

June 25th, 2013 DeeDee OR

I purchased concert tickets from Metro Entertainment. They're now calling daily and repeatedly from this number; I took their call by mistake this morning. Wanted to verify my mailing and billing address for the tickets, saying I'd be receiving them in a few weeks even though I received them about two weeks ago. What a joke. They were wanting to send me free gas vouchers and after 30 days if I didn't want to continue the plan I'd have to call a toll-free number, otherwise my credit card would be billed. Told rep I wasn't interested, she ignored me and went on about that I'd save SO MUCH money, again said I wasn't interested, again she ignored me. Then she transferred me to get an identification code for the unwanted mailing, so I hung up. They continue to call but as of tomorrow the phone number will be blocked. Go into and you'll find many complaints about this company. I only found this company because it gave the appearance of being the provider of tickets for the organization where the concert will take place. Very misleading. I'll never give them my business again.

June 19th, 2013 Jaye Dee FL

I let it ride for a couple of days. They are blowing my phone up like crazy. What do they want? I don't care. Seems everyone here is in agreement, they need to stop. They won't even leave a message. Shows up in my caller ID as QRI. Well, I suggest you do what I did, Call Block. Most phone systems have it, and there are tons of apps for Smarty Pants phones. The app I have blocks the call, doesn't ring my phone, but keeps a record of the call. Perhaps the folks at QRI would like for us to report them to the FCC, or our Congressmen and Senators, no company should be allowed to call you more than twice, without at least the courtesy of a voicemail message! So, just CALL BLOCK them.

June 19th, 2013 CC AZ

I have been receiving these for the last few days 10-12 a day, ugh , What do I do?

June 13th, 2013 Neil CA

Fortunately I have caller ID so I can screen nonsense like this. I never answer a call if I don't recognize the number or don't want to talk with them.

These people started calling me today and have called probably 12 times today. Waking a sleeping baby is enough to make ones blood to boil! Take me off of the list. I am on the "No Call List"

May 13th, 2013 tripping OK

Called this number and got the phone number to talk to a real person. After being transferred twice, I finally got a "Shonda" who was in charge. Told her in no uncertain terms they were scammers and that if the charges were not removed from my 18 year old daughters credit card - they would be hearing from AG of Oklahoma. Charged her $3 for "coupon saving plans". I asked why would she pay for coupons - they coe in the paper on Sundays for free. Then she said they are contracted by Online products (in this case ChilloPillow, to verify and protect them from identity theft...HA! Anyway, after I repeated that this was a scam about 15 times and telling her I that I would go to the AG - she agreed to remove the charges and camcel order. Told daughter to never, ever, give anyone any info...EVER!

May 4th, 2013 D RI

These idiots have called my cell 4 to 5 times per day over the last 2 weeks. Based on other responses, the mistake I made was ordering something from tv.

These people call me at least 4 times a day--Mon thru Sat. They have called at 9;20 at night. I don't answer phone. I'm 75 years old and not able to get around very well. It is very annoying. I would appreciate it if something could be done to stop these calls. thank-you

I ordered a product to detail my truck called Wipe New. The number 866 379 2003 came up on my phone 12 times in 3 days but no message was left. I called and a man ID'd himself as Chris stated they were trying to reach me to confirm my address was correct so the product could be mailed. When I asked why they would call 12 times and not leave a message he said it is not their policy to leave messages. I told him it will be my policy to never order any of their products ever again. He apologized and hung up.

Yup, this is a scam. They wanted to charge me for some bull reagrding gas vouchers or something. They knew about a recent purchase I made for a "as seen on tv" product from Idea Village Inc. Will call them directly.

This number is now "playing tag" with another number (919.594.6244). The 866 number calls and hangs up; the 919 number calls with the sales pitch.

This is a total scam. They wanted to verify delivery of concert tickets I purchased. I had seen this website before I answered so instead of verifying any personal information, I asked each time why they needed to verify by phone when the shipping address was different than the one she kept giving me and why they needed to call when it was verified by email with a signature for pickup. She had no answer besides to verify the tickets so I requested that my name be taken off of their call list.

This outfit calls everyday...4 or 5 times a day...beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 9:00 pm. They hang up on the 3rd ring. Never leaves a message. I tried to call the number on caller ID back and all I got was a recording that the number could not be dialed as given. I am so tired of the phone calls interupting every part of our day. Can't something be done? The Do Not Call list seems not to work at all.

November 27th, 2012 Chris T WA

I got repeated calls from this number. Finally called them back. Same scam - said it was the company I ordered something from on the internet and wanted to send me $100 in free gas coupons and then have me sign up for a $29.99 charge to my credit card for "free coupons" month. I told them NO NO NO. I couldn't get this guy off the phone. They are scammers who pick up phone numbers from so-called 'secure" internet transactions. If you get a call from this number, block it!

November 14th, 2012 LisaT NH

Just got a call from this number and called it back. They claimed to be a company that I just ordered via the internet from and they wanted to give me $100 in coupons for $1 and then every 30 days my credit card would be hit for $29.99 if I did not call to cancel. I vehemently refused to let them do the $1 for $100 in coupons so that the $29.99 would automatically start after 30 days. It took a little convincing on my part, but he agreed not to do anything and just ship me my order.

Just called the number back. A girl picked up and said my name. I asked her who she was and she said she was calling to verify my address for my recent "Stompees" purchase. I told her that since i plced the order securely online and had the order number, that there was no need to verify anything to her. I then revealed to her that i knew what she was attempting to do (sell me something else) and i was not, nor will i ever be interested. I told her that her compny is never permitted to call me again. Then i just hung up.

November 2nd, 2012 Lena NJ

Company called me 3 times last night while I was SLEEPING! When I called back, they said, "Hello Lena".. wtf? It was like a creepy phone call in a horror movie!! I said ,"who is this?"... she spoke so quickly I couldn't understand what she was saying except she wanted to charge my credit card $1 in addition to my recent purchase of "Wipe New", which I did order days ago after seeing it on TV. I told her that all I wanted was what I ordered and nothing more. She was quite persistent and I had to be as well. I got off the phone winning. Just tell these people they are not authorized to charge you for anything.

Calls started after ordering Michele Merciers detangling brush. Said they were verifying my address and wanted to send $100 gas voucher (declined, nothing is ever free). Hopefully no more calls now that I called back. She wasn't pushy but I don't like the fact that they call 4 times a day with no message.

I've gotten calls from 866-379-2003 about 3 times today. They never leave a message. I'm thinking these are politically related?? Either way, they can call all they want. If I don't know who it is, I'm NOT answering! Leave a message if it's so important! Until then, they can BITE MY ASS!!

6 calls just yesterday about 14 in the last 5 days...
This is horrible.
I would love to know how they got my number?

October 6th, 2012 SheepDude IL

Same experience. 3-5 calls at all times of day. I called the number back as they NEVER leave a message. Yes, they answer "Hello MYNAME" and went into the schpeel. Ordered Tummy Tuck, verify address, sending you $100 gas voucher". I said "Thank you. Not interested, please don't call this number again". He was very nice, said he was adding to internal do not call and it would be off within 24 hours. Said they are not a bank or credit card company but a third party sales service. We'll see if it works. I REALLY hope so!

This call came in after I placed an order with Michelle Mercier's company. After listening to my phone ring for days, many of these calls during dinner, TV and late into the night, we finally answered. This last call lasted several minutes during which the caller talked very fast. I have no idea what I might have agreed to. I just wanted to get this guy off the phone. I order off the internet to avoid these calls so this is very annoying.

Louis, you won't succeed in "legal action" when you don't even realize that your caller does not maintain this site or this web page. You will not get compliance with your orders until you deliver them DIRECTLY to your caller. Your caller cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments.

I called back and it was supposedly a verification of the "ship to" address for a recent purchase. And then started the spiel for some 14 day trial of a special discount for only $1.00, $29.95 a month if I didn't cancel before 14 days 2as up. $120 in free gas vouchers, etc, etc. Being a firm believer in "if it looks too good to be true..." I declined. No one gives you $120 in free gasoline for $1 without a catch somewhere.

I just returned from my lunchbreak at work and the receptionist told me some lady called asking for me. When she told her I wasn't in, she then started asking if I had a husband, kids and other personal information. It freaked out the receptionist and she recorded the phone number from the caller ID. I just checked that number on this website. Why in the world would a telemarketer call my work and ask about my family. Stalker! Not sure who to report this to.

May 4th, 2012 Carol FL

Well after I read many comments I've decide to call them thru home phone, however "the phone number does not exit" but I called them back from my cell and they answered right away, they don't give me information what was all about, maybe beacuse they were looking for somebody that wasn't me. So, I did request to put my phone number in "Not Caller list". Will see if they really stop.

Who Called Us has one of the finest systems for tracking the incidence of bogus phone calls on the net -- if not the finest. Comments are made that help "victims of harassment" identify their attackers, and give advice about how to report such calls to the FCC, the FTC, and the DNC.

Rants using vituperative language may make the writer feel better, but those message -- as Resident 57 and others define it here and elsewhere -- will never be seen by the offending parties.

Report the call, i.e., Who Called, Caller ID, and the Date to Who Called Us first, then get busy with filing reports to the other agencies concerned. File a comment, too, to describe your bad experience; there are six years of data about how intrusive these bogus callers are here at WCU; someone should be able to make a case to do something about them!!!!!!

March 28th, 2012 Resident47 MA

People, let's not continue to follow the bad example of Megan, Xcx, and ''mad as heck''. You must deliver your no-call request to the actual caller, which does not maintain this site or this web page. Your caller is not going to dutifully study random forum complaints and cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. It is extremely foolish to publicize phone numbers you mean to protect in an open forum where any harvester and scammer can collect them.

I have been receiving a rash of calls from this number lately; in excess of a dozen in the past three days! When I Google the number I can see that it must be coming from some type of marketing company. The thing that scares me is that the people posting note that the caller already has their credit card information.
I have always been very careful with online purchases and watch my accounts diligently. Now I will be checking 2-3 times a day to be sure nothing fishy is going on.
It all began at the end of November with one 888 number. Almost to the day I was able to stop the first number from calling me a second 888 number started. Now the calls have changed from an 888 prefix to an 866 prefix. It seems that when you tell one marketing company to take you off their list they turn around and sell your number to another company who hasn't been instructed to do the same.
I sure wish PayPal would bring back the "one use" credit cards that used to be available for their account holders. It was a wonderful extra piece of security!

I started receiving these calls daily, early and late, a few days ago. Today, when they called, I actually got a person online and told them to quit calling this number. She said it would take a few days to take my number off their list. Called my phone and hung up on me when I said it was not Carol (my elderly mother who is on oxygen for severe COPD, is a kidney transplant patient, and has a heart condition), so I called them back and asked what it was regarding, they hung up again.. Called 3 times before I said stop hanging up on me, you want to talk to my mother I will get her. Then told them I take care of her and again asked why they wanted her..they said it was a courtesy call but when my mother told them she wanted to cancel and was not interested 7 times, they told her they needed her card number to credit the amount back. This is when I stepped in. First words to me were please read the card number from left to right. I asked why he needed the card and he said they were going to send my mother 100.00 in gas and some coupons and required the card number. I told him the call was being recorded, asking confirmation that they needed her card to cancel an order in which I heard my mother tell him 7 times and asked if that was not adequate enough for a clear answer. He said ok, we won't send her the coupon and 100 in gas, have a good day and hung up..What a scam!! I am upset, so is my mother..he tried to get her card number thinking that was the only way she was going to cancel it, when he was scamming her to buy 350 coupon book I am guessing.

I have been getting 3-5 calls EACH day to my cell phone from 866-379-2003. I called it from another phone and there was a recorded message saying you could opt out by pressing 2 and so on. I finally decided to call from my cell and was shocked when the voice that answered did not say hello but called my by name in a questioning tone. Stunned I hung up. I finally called again and never verify who I was but here is the deal.. They were calling to tell me an item I bought off TV had been shipped. Then they tried to verify my address. I said if you shipped me something you have my address. I was told that in my shipment was a free $100.00 gas card and some sort of coupons or something that if I keep after 30 days they will charge my credit card 24.95/month but I could keep the gas card. I went off at that point explaining what I would do if my card gets charged anything! All these freebies on a purchase of 33.30. Horse Dung! The item I WAS buying was I plan to refuse the delivery. Hope this helps somebody else out there.

Barb: Not an easy question in the absence of a positive ID. You can, under TCPA and FDCPA respectively, revoke call permission from a sales caller or debt collector with a simple cease-comm letter, sent USPS Certified. If you have a ''prior relationship'' you can still halt the calls under the TSR.

Here are some links about all the alphabet soup laws:

Telemarketing Sales Rule

No message is ever left in my voicemail. My number is even registered with the Governments Do Not Call Registry. Been on it for a good 2 years or longer now. Ordered the Yoshi Blade ceramic knife. A week later I received a call a few minutes to 9:00PM. They want to verify my order with Yoshi Blade and ask for my credit card number. I said, you called me, you tell me my credit card number. The person then tells me they are a sales team that is part of Yoshi Blade and that they cannot sign me up for some discount buying service, all they have are the last 4 numbers of my credit card. Could not belive it. Apparently, when you purchase the Yoshi Blade on line, they must sell your name and phone number to these clowns who then pretend they are part of the company you had purchased from originally. Complete scam. Sending back those Yoshi Blades and I have reported this to the FTC. Don't give these folks the time of day. If you pick up the phone when they call, just hang up on them.

Trust me, these comments below are accurate. I bought the "WaterJet" through a TV ad. I will NEVER again buy anything through a TV ad. I got the product and it was fine but this company called and it was non-stop sales pitch about free gas cards, and then a dollar charged to my credit card for various buyer club offers, a WalMart card, and id security protection. Once I get the package it is up to ME to call 800 numbers to cancel them and avoid future charges. Why are they not put out of business???????

Same as all the rest... calling relentlessly for weeks. Want me sign up for some payments and give me gift cards. Knew my name, knew my credit card, called me on my brand new unlisted phone number. Here's the twist... only Bank of America knew all of this information. It turns out that when Bank of America takes over an account from another bank, they change all privacy settings to a full "opt-in" and they sell it like heck.

Welcome to government owned banks.

This 866-379-2003 service has been calling relentlessly for the past month. The calls begin at 8:00AM (including weekends) and the latest call received was 9:25PM. I am so glad I remembered this site! I took the information I found here and used it to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. I checked my phone records, and these morons have been calling me twice a day for 9 weeks!. I told them the first time they called not to call again, and I simply don't answer when they call now because scammers have a way of recording your voice and making it look like you agreed to something you didn't. The post by "Mad Consumer" was very helpful. I used it to turn the tables on these morons. I plan to give them a run for their money now. I Googled them, and even ran a google map so I know who their neighbors are. Maybe if they think I might walk into their office at any minute, they will think twice about dialing my number again!! If you would like to file a complaint with the FTC, their site is:

If you want to give them a little taste of their own medicine, act like you are interested in what the are trying to push on you. Then tell them you are at work, and ask them to call your "cell", then give them this number (973) 474-9051 Call it yourself to hear what they will be blasted with.. It's hilarious!! I plan on keeping this number handy and giving it as my home number everytime I buy anything online or from TV, to keep this type of idiots from botherinmg me anymore. It's time for the shoe to be on the other foot!!

April 28th, 2009 SoCal

haven't answered the calls, but since there isn't a message it must be important or smart enough not to "harass." Anyone found the way to have them stop calling? What else in new in the world?

April 10th, 2009 JD

Just a little info for all of you receiving calls from callers you don't know. Before you answer it, look it up on the internet so you don't have to deal with this problem. These people know that as long as they allow either there phone number or name to be displayed on called ID you can not block them. The next best thing is to check the numbers on the net before you answer them. Another way to start getting rid of these people. They are under the FCC regulations, that little tax you pay on your phone bill every month. Get some use out of it. The more people complain about people like, this the FCC will get tired of them. The squeak wheel gets the oil, make the Federal government work for those taxes we pay. Stop these people from invading our homes and harassing us over the phone.
You will need to go on the FCC web page. Keep a pen and paper by your phone, start logging down every time they call you. If you answer, and if you tell them to put them on the do not call list. The FCC will ask you all these questions. Try this.
From what I can tell on the other sites about this phone # these people do not give up or take you off your list. I would also call your credit card companies and ask them to require a phone ID when using your credit card so your cards can't be used over the phone by these people. Ask them how they can help.

April 4th, 2009 Gary WA

I get 2 to 4 calls a day from this #. On a couple of occasions I answered hoping for an "opt out" option but no one comes on the line and there is no recording.

March 14th, 2009 Slim Clip MD

I trace these harassing phone calls to a television advertisement I answered on 18 February 2009 for The Slim Clip money clip. I didn’t know about their web site at the time. I placed my Slim Clip order by calling, from my landline phone line, the number from the television commercial. I had never ordered a product by calling one of these numbers and it was a frustrating experience. I was unable to speak with a real person at any time and their voice menu system kept trying to get me to buy more items before they’d complete my order. When their voice menu system finally said that they had placed the order it did not confirm how many items would be shipped or what the total cost would be. It did however, give me their Customer Service number, 866-305-1361, which I promptly called to clarify what I had ordered and what the total cost would be but I was unable to reach anyone.
I received my Slim Clip order on 3 March 2009 for double the amount of what I had ordered. I called Slim Clip Customer Service at 866-305-1351 to tell them how displeased I was with their service. They said all they could do was credit $10 back to my credit card which they did as “ONT*SLIM CLIP” on 5 March 2009. They said I could send back the product I didn’t order but that I’d still have to pay the exorbitant shipping and handling charges on each item. I told them that I thought they had ripped my off, that their voice menu system was misleading, and I was thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I had called from my cell phone and did not put the *67 to block Caller ID delivery in front of the number. Later I found out from my cell phone company that your caller ID information is always delivered along with the call and it’s up to the call recipient’s Caller ID box to strip your caller ID information from the call. If the call recipient has modified their Caller ID box they can have it ignore the *67 Caller ID block.
On 9 March 2009 I started getting several calls from 866-379-2003. I was curious about these calls I had missed so I dialed *67-866-379-2003 to block my Caller ID information in my return call to the number. A woman answered, thanked me for returning the call and went into a sales pitch which included some free gasoline coupons. I didn’t give her any information and thought the *67 had blocked my caller ID information. When she asked if I still resided at my Columbia, Maryland address I hung up. Almost immediately after hanging up I received a call from 866-379-2003 which I did not answer. I continued to be harassed by calls from 866-379-2003 at 4:35PM, 5:59 PM, 7:53 PM, and the next day (10 March 2009) at 1:26 PM, and 4:44 PM. I called my cell phone service provider about these harassing phone calls. At 4:54 PM they blocked 866-379-2003 from calling my cell phone for 90 days. The block is free of charge and you can reinstate the block if you continue to be harassed after the block expires.
Although the call block has stopped 866-379-2003 from calling me I started receiving calls on 13 March 2009 from 954-671-6946 at 12:15 PM and from 909-650-9173 at 12:15 PM. At 2:26 PM, without checking the Caller ID on my cell phone I inadvertently answered a call from 954-671-6946. A female caller asked for someone with a name similar to my first name. I answered that there was no one here by that name and hung up. Then I realized the name the caller had asked for was the same as an incorrect spelling of my first name that had come on the shipping invoice from Slim Clip.
I received another call from 909-650-9173 at 10:29 AM on 14 March 2009. I called my cell phone service provider and got both 909-650-9173 and 954-671-6946 added to my block numbers list for 90 days.
I attribute these harassing calls to Slim Clip. Here’s what information I have on the Slim Clip Company.

Quality Resources is a telemarketing company based in Florida. These annoyingly persistent phone calls are the product of an auto-dialer program. The reason they call so many times is because the numbers are thrown into an auto-dialer and if the person does not pick up, the number is thrown back into the system to be dialed again.

I called Quality Resources Customer Service (866-434-6600) and told the guy that answered my situation... I explained to the guy that answered that I was called multiple times today by his company and that was harassed by the telemarketer that I spoke with. I told them they rattled off information about gas vouchers, etc so fast that I don't even know what happened. I told him I was concerned that I was going to get charged for something that I adamantly told the lady in Sales I wasn't interest in.

He asked if I gave my birthdate or implied in any way that I wanted the package and I assured him that no, I had to actually cut the lady off to tell her that I wasn't interested and that she got an attitude and huffed "Fine well we just won't send you anything!" I was assured that because I hadn't given my birthdate and that I was verbally adamant about not signing up, I would not be charged. He also told me that each call is recorded and listened to by multiple departments. If you speak with someone in sales and you cuss them out and tell them you don't want anything from them and they STILL send your call through, someone in the quality department will listen to it and recognize it as a bad sale and throw it out.

I told him that I had to Google the number that called me and that there were tons of forums about the harassment of these calls and there's nothing but aggravation and reports to the Better Business Bureaus. I told him I didn't mean to shoot the messenger but that the telemarketers that work for his business are HORRIBLE and rude.

I was promised that someone would listen to my call tomorrow and make sure that I am not being charged and that I would be added to an internal Do Not Call list and that it would take 72 business hours for that to go into effect. Hopefully this is the end of this.

I didn't answer this number but they call all hours as well. They do not leave a message. Is there anyway to stop them from calling me.

February 12th, 2009 deepblackhole VA

I just got a call from some woman who started touting about a free $40 gas card, generally matching the previous entries on this website for this 866 number. She spoke at about a thousand words a minute, obviously a well-practiced speech, leading off with an admission that the call “may” be recorded. I received a fairly-similar telemarketer sales pitch only a few days ago for which website research suggested it was a result of a recent online purchase in which the telemarketer had the last four of my credit card number and wanted to mail me a bunch of information and a $50 gas card at a one or two-dollar initial rate, and I was thinking this was the same scammer. I challenged today’s caller who claimed to know nothing of that offer. Anyway, after enduring this warp-speed pitch for about thirty seconds, I was able to key in on certain phrases she made suggesting that they were going to bill my credit card for one dollar immediately, which would cause me to receive a package of info in the mail, and that if I didn’t cancel this “money saving service”, I would be billed $19.95/month until I did cancel. I broke in and said, specifically, “You keep talking about billing my credit card. I won’t even confirm or deny that you have all or part of my actual credit card number correct, but even if you do, I do not authorize you to make any charges against my card whatsoever and promise that I will dispute any charges you do make”. At that point, she lost interest with impressive speed, blurted out a couple more quasi-intelligible sentences about “my ability to cancel my subscription whenever I wanted to by following the instructions on the cover page of (whatever they wanted to mail me)” or some such tripe, then she hung up. I then started doing some web research on the number she called from, finding this site among others. Other people entering data here claimed that they made repeat calls stop coming by calling the 866 number back and pressing a certain key associated with a prompt to be removed from their call list. I called the number to do this for myself, but a female answered. I said I wanted to be removed from their list, the female confirmed if “this request was coming from ”, which was correct, I said yes, she said she would take care it, apologized for the intrusion and we were done. Only time will tell if it stops the calls, but I’ve only had one (the original) so far. I think its probably in a person’s best interest to specifically and verbally assert that he/she refuses to sign up for anything being offered by this telemarketer, because if they don’t, the telemarketer will bill their credit card and later be able to use the recordings to claim that “the cardholder didn’t tell us that we couldn’t bill his/her card for what we were offering”. In other words, the cardholder (victim) has to specifically opt out, and the telemarketer knows that few will have the patience/tolerance to challenge the charges. As an identity theft paranoid, I check my credit card account/pending charges online at least 5 times/week; here’s something new to keep a watch for. These people are thieves. On my planet, telemarketing is a capital offense… Received this call at my office (ISDN line), for which Caller-ID displays only the caller’s number.

They call me too. I demanded to know the company that sold my information because I buys tons of crap online. The woman assured me that the divulging company was a "partner" and they didn't sell it. Whatever! She read me that last four digits of my debit card which completed pissed me off.

Re: 8663792003

i am a lawyer and have contacted the ontel products group (customer service company for liquid focus group - they are the company who sells iron gym, etc.) and have let them know that should there be any charges authorized by them to my credit card or a continuance of unsolicited calls (which is NOT disclosed in their privacy notice) i will be naming them as defendants in a class action law suit.

that said, i would encourage you ALL to call the better business bureau and document your complaints (its free) ... this way should we need to, we can deal with this in court and finally make these ridiculous phone calls stop

December 16th, 2008 Robert TX

Upon receiving the first call from these jokers, I was informed that they were a non-profit group. I asked for their tax exempt id number for my records, and was hung up on. So, I just had to call back. The second person I spoke to informed me that they were a 'for-profit' group. And of course I couldn't get a tax id number from him, either. Further, the caller wouldn't give me his social security number, nor his drivers license number. I argued that since he had personal information of mine (my phone number), I should have personal information of his. Apparently he didn't think so! As well, I couldn't garner from him what bank he cashed his payroll checks from. So, this went on for about 5 minutes. I did, however get a little bit more information. This outfit is run out of Clearwater Florida. Further, I did manage to obtain an address.

Quality Resources

If that bit of information helps anyone, I am happy to toss it out there for ya. They didn't realize what they were in for. Back in my teenage years, I was in that line of work, so I know the ropes. Needless to say, towards the end of the call, he was happy to offer to take my number off of their call list. I almost didn't let him!!

November 26th, 2008 Elizabeth SC

I don't answer when they call but they do not leave a message on my voice mail. I recently made a purchase online using the number they are calling, this is my cell phone number that I rarely give out, so I am sure it is coming from that. I made a purchase for Total Cleanse and Acai Berry which also provided my number to Fit Factory and Price Limbo. I am sure it is one of them or someone else they gave my number to. I tried to call them back from my house phone and I got the recording. I pressed two to be placed on their internal Do Not Call List but it did not ask me for the phone number I wanted removed. So I decided to call back on my cell phone, which is the number they called of mine. I did not get the recording this time, someone answered. I hung up since I was hoping to get the recording. I immediately called back....again, hoping to get the recording. This time, someone immediately answered the phone and said...."Elizabeth".....I hung up again. Matbe I should not have but I did not ask these people to call me and I don't have any use in talking to them. That was weird though!!

November 20th, 2008 j.w. MA

This company, calling themselves Vista Card Services, calls my cell phone at least once a day, usually 2-4 times, also starting early in the morning until just 8:30 pm. They know my credit card number; I signed up for an Acai Berry trial recently, and I believe this might be how they got my information. Sometimes I also get calls from the same company, but the number doesn't show up on caller ID. I've answered twice...

- Both times it sounded like a party going on in the background, and a very unprofessional male rep waited 5 or so seconds to finally speak to me.
- They say that they are from Vista Card Services and are calling in regards to Visa Card number.. and they give the last 4 digits of my Visa Card.
- They offer a gas rebate deal or other credit card related service.
- Both times I said I wasn't interested and not to call again.
- Both times they say exactly this: "You have to listen to the entire message, Sweetheart, to get the calls to stop."
- When I say that I'm not going to waste cell minutes on something I don't want and repeat to stop calling, they repeat exactly the sentence above, about listening to the entire message.

November 19th, 2008 dr_subsonic MT

They are offering a "free" membership ($1.00 for shipping) and 40 bucks worth of gas.
then they charge 19.95/month for "membership" if you dont cancel within 30 days

Calling them back seems to be enough to trip off the charges to your CC......

It is Quality Resources a telemarketing company, I am even on the NO call list and still got called by this company. You have to physically call them and remove yourself. It is painless and takes about 10 seconds. I just did it.

this woman has called 5 times in two days. She asked for my boyfriend.. she said she was from Quality something - maybe resources- but no explanation. She would not say what she wanted. We have not ordered anything, but we do have (his) credit cards linked to this phone number. She was really rude and would not elaborate what it was about. It could be something related to detectives??

October 20th, 2008 Mad Consumer GA

When they called me and told me they had my credit card information and wanted to offer me $40 in gas coupons and a great deal on other items, I told them I did not want it. They told me that if I did not want the great deals, I could cancel and my credit card would not be charged!!!!! I demanded to know the compnay name and address and looked it up on the Bteer Business Bureau site. This is the report:

The company that calls you, goes as Budget Management. I will be checking my credit card statements. I am also going to be calling the Iron Gym people to let them know how I Feel.

They just gave me a bunch of information in a very fast way, without letting me cut. I was at work and they asked me to confirm my address and day of birth, I did not prompted myself but they did. I should have hung up myself. I received 3 before I answered. Where can be reported this?

September 30th, 2008 charlie c TX

Iff you have a friend or family member in Law Enforcement loan them your phone for a few days, they have much better success at ending these type of calls than regular citizens.Plus they become a very credible witness in case you go for the penalty applied to violators of the 'no call"list.

September 27th, 2008 Charlie c TX

Two more calls from them, when my brother answered from the police dept(I was in his office). they said it was a wrong number, second call 1 minute later no one on the line .

They've been calling for two weeks. I finally answered with a woman’s voice and they asked for me by a name we used to ship a package (we alternate shipping names) last month. The call (credit card billing number used and shipping name used) corresponds to an order we put in with THE BENDER BALL – just over a month ago. Has anyone else purchased a Bender Ball and started receiving tons of calls from this number?

In addition, we found out that after 30 days The Bender Ball company (Savvier) automatically starts shipping you more boxes and automatically bills your credit card - ($26.98 after 33 days) & ($26.98 after 36 days).

We have to ship all the shipments back to the company (even though we haven’t received all the orders yet but have been billed) AT OUR EXPENSE and then wait 6-10 weeks for the charges to be reversed. What a complete scam.

I did all the appropriate research since this wasn’t available through Amazon or Google Checkout and assumed Leslie Bender would be more reputable because of her other products. These are low down marketing tactics that cause me to waste many hours of my time and my money. I typically never do stuff like this but I couldn’t find the ball anywhere else. Chalk it up to being caught by an unscrupulous internet marketer. I should know better – only use Amazon or Google Checkout. Darn I’m pissed !!!!

Called and, against my better judgment, convinced me to give some information (name, address, debit card number). I'm kicking myself over this. Gonna go get my card number changed. They didn't get my social or security code, though. Be smart, don't make the same mistake I did, just hang up the phone.

I recently purchased a SlimClip money holder online and had to give my number to have my credit card processed. A couple dyas later I started to receive junk mail and have had a few calls from this number. They claim to have received it from one of their 'Marketing Partners' but cannot tell me who.....I am pretty sure who by the timing of it.

September 19th, 2008 Tam One

i have n idea how these people got my cell phone number but they call like crazy. When u call back it's just like jr says, i actually pressed 2 to take my number off the list, so they won't call anymore. So far I haven't heard from them. I am curious to how they get your personal cell phone numbers.

September 17th, 2008 jr

This company began calling me two days ago. They have called 16 times in 3 days, times ranging from 8am sharp to 8:45pm. I never answered, and they never left a voicemail.

i returned the call and got a recording stating:

"we've been trying to contact you by phone to introduce you to our wonderful money saving program"

press '1' to continue to receive these calls

press '2' to be removed from our call list

to speak to a customer service representative call 1(866)434-6600.

I recently changed cell phones and in the process acquired a new number. While my previous number WAS on the DO NOT CALL LIST, the new one was not, so there is not much i can do with these people but hope they quit calling. I pressed '2' at their prompt and will now keep track of my phone bill rather closely. I'll report back if I get charged for calling the number.

To check if your number is registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST go to:

I love how our government works... you have to sign up on a list stating you do not want to be harassed by telemarketers. I personally think this list already exists... it's called the phone book. It would make far too much sense if the handfull of confused individuals that DID want to receive harassing phone calls had to put their info on a list instead. Thank God all our laws aren't written in this same backwards format. The don't get shot list. Don't get raped list. Don't get robbed list... you get it. So why is there a don't get harassed over the phone list? Food for thought.
