Called the following number --> 866-338-7877:
- spoke to a pleasant gentleman named "Warren" who informed me that they "...can not provide extended car warranties for residents of the state of Missouri, where they are based...";
- his explanation was that if a customer became "unhappy" with their agreement and decided to go "postal ", well, you can understand that they would not want to be in the same area;
So, he was not able to provide extended insurance for my 8 cars as I am a "car collector", but he would make some calls and try to get me some other information:
- if that didn't work, best bet would be to continue to "shop-around" for other coverage
Call ended pleasantly enough, but man...I was disappointed! ;-)
FAKE INFO GIVEN:
- Name: James Frederick Hines...but all my friends call me "Fred"...
- Address: 745 Friedens Road
St. Charles, MO 63303
- Fake Phone Number: 636-757-7501
*NOTE* If this info looks familiar, it happens to be the same address as --> Federal Auto Protection Notification Center ;-)
Oh, and a caveat, in case you're looking to talk to these people...I made this call from work in a callcenter, and they were able to determine that I was calling *FROM* work:
- I had to quickly make up some story about travelling right now, but I *LIVE* in Missouri... *whew*
