Funny I don't even own a car... Clicked 1 to pretend extending my warranty, asked the person which company does he work for. Immediately hung up. They call with many different numbers, including 1-866-147-9959.

Called my cell phone with recording. This is the 6th call I have gotten from these guys. On the 2nd call, I asked them to remove me from their list. This time, I asked for the company name and address, then they hung up.

Auto warranty scam. Both our cars are still in warranty. They have called me repeatedly on my cell phone, for the last several months. It's just a recording if you pick it up, and you can't call the number back.

Didn't leave me a message. Didn't pick up the phone (cell). Just happened to be by a computer a little later after the time these people called. Found this web site. Hey, here's a thought. If I can find this site, and I bet that there are maybe a hundred out there like this one... They know who they are calling, and approximately when they called, don't be too eager to give out any unnecessary information in your comments to sites like these. These guys can access these sites just as easily as you can. Don't give them any added information that you wouldn't want anyone else to know. Just a thought... think about it. But still, people need to band together to stop these people. I like the thought about calling their number every time that you see a payphone!!! Don't know how many lines they may have, but tying up their line seems like a good idea. After all, they did call you first, and you're just trying to find out what they want and who they are right? That is within your rights as a consumer. If buyer beware is the caution, the same has to apply to the seller.

If you want to stop the calls shut down their number - by calling it from a payphone every chance you get - It cost them extra $$$ for payphones
