I keep receiving calls to my cell about my car, constantly during working hours. I don't even drive. I thought they are not supposed to be telemarketing to cell phones.

same automated auto warranty scam I've received from over 12 other phone numbers. It's to my cell, usually first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Hate it and can't do anything about it.

I tried to trade my wife and a single wide for the extended warranty they were offering on my truck. But they wanted a credit card number and social security number instead. I'll give you anything but that.

Unfortunately, the fix for this problem will take some of your time. I just got done with a call from these people. Pretend to be interested and you will get transferred to the company that paid the telemarketers. waste their time up to the point they want you to buy, then explain that their telemarketing partner is doing illegal telemarketing (robotic dialer, recorded message, no opt out, no company name, spoofed caller id) and MAKE them report your complaint to their superiors. when they receive enough complaints they will (hopefully) fire the marketing company. while talking to the service rep, get the company name, phone or web address, and file a BBB claim afterwards for a double punch. I am waiting for the results of my BBB complaint before posting the company out on the web, but if they dont cooporate, then I will let everyone at them.

My husband works in Tennessee but we live in Virginia and amazing enough this number shows up on his phone and I did my research considering we don't know anybody from Tn. and this was his first trip down, so need less to say you all knew what I was thinking when I did a reverse look up and got a 28 year old females name and address. Then I checked myspace,(everybody has a myspace account) I found 2 people with that name and of course I sent a message to both of them because the address given for the number was only a matter of miles from where my husband was staying. This nice young lady by that name was kind enough to contact me and let me know that use to be her phone number several years back of course I had my doubts but she stayed in constant contact with me and she was being honest, and Alicia I appreciate that, very few honest people left in this world. but like the rest of you, every time I call this number it's either busy or a disconnect recording. This need to be stopped and how could a telemarketer be allowed to use a residential phone number? and how do they get our cell numbers? If any one has any information on who we could contact about this please let me know, and for Alicia's name sake I'm quite sure she would like to know also. Thanks for your help, Melissa...I don't visit this site often it was sent to me by someone because of all the problems this has caused in my marriage, but if you have any information my email is ..MELISSA_1971_1@hotmail.com

I have been receiving these phone calls for months. I have been also ignoring them until now, and amazingly I find bother many, many others. This sounds like a job for the BBB and Congress because they want to trick you and separate your money from you. I wonder if they are successful with some poor and misguided people.
I am not supposed to receive solicitation calls but they are getting through. And their phone line is always busy. It must be a con from some a apartment from Tennesese. If I coulld get an address I would call the local police from that area to take a peek. Who know what you could find?

This is a harassing solicitor claiming to be able to extend the warranty on my car. I have not had a warranty on this car for 30000 miles, and certainly not with them. I have received these calls on different phone numbers for over a year and have already told them once to remove me from their list, but they keep calling. They are a menace.

I am so tired of these automated calls. I have a pre-paid phone and each transaction costs me 25 cents, even if I don't pick up. I never ever give me number out to anyone except friends and family. I wish these people would erase me from their list!!! STOP CALLING!!! My car is 12 years old and doesnt have a warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG soooo frustrating!!!! How can I block these calls???? I would love to call them back and bother THEM while they are sleeping or doing work. Does anyone know how to block these numbers????

These calls didn't start until Jan 09... I've only received one partial message, talking about an expiring auto warranty, and asking me to "press 2" to be taken off the list.

Since I have an insurance provider that contacts me identifiably with any questions, I thought the first call was a misdialed number and ignored it.

Since then I've had frequent calls (no vmail left) from several different numbers. I've researched them, and all belong to this...entity.

Scam, clearly. Even pressing "2" gives them too much info, I think: they know the telephone number is working, and that the person on the other end has auto insurance.

I called 866-315-1555, Vehicle Services Inc, to complain about this number and 800-219-7425. Both numbers spam my cell with warranty calls. Vehicle Services Inc apologized and agreed to have my name put on their no call list. I thought I was already on the federal no call list. I guess the rules don't apply to every one.
