Got a call from 858-391-4100 at 6:04 EST today. Caller ID labeled it "Research Center." Caller said they were from "Directions and Research". When I asked what specific company he was calling from he merely repeated "Directions and Research" and told me he was doing a short survey on security breaches. I asked him what kind of security breaches and he told me personal and financial related. He told me there would be no confidential information asked, which got me suspicious--that WAS what he had been referring to in the first place. When I told him I was declining to answer his questions since I didn't feel comfortable doing so, he insisted that it was very important I answer. Annoyed, I finally gave the phone to another family member, who asked them the same clarifying questions I had asked plus a few more, and then said goodbye and hung up.

I am getting these calls also. These people are calling my house up to 9 pm in the night hours, they never leave a message, the one time I picked up hoping to get them off my back they hung up without saying anything. Grrrr. That ought to be illegal or something. I don't how they got my number but would sure like to know how to remove it from their list. From the looks of these comments it would not make much difference. Go Away Poway!
Caller ID says Poway CA. I called number back after numerous occasions of them calling each of our business lines. Was dead air for the longest time, then a canned message calling themselves Directions & Research stated the reception desk was closed and that if you needed assistance to press #...I pressed #...it said if you know your party's extension dial it now..or dial the first three letters of the last name you are trying to reach...I took a shot and pressed random keys (M-A-T)..actually got someone live!! Asked what they do, she said they are a marketing & research company. I asked "what kind of research company places random calls and hangs up when answered...how is that research??" Then asked for our number to be removed because we are a business and don't wish to participate in anything they are "researching". She asked what number, I said, "Check your caller id, I'm sure it's listed there...now remove it please." and I hung up.
They call everyday around 12-1pm. I push buttons and make ridiculous noise to them and they keep on calling.

Like RAD's call, they said they were from the UW asking about vaccinations for children. They asked who could answer about children's vaccinations in the home, I told them I could. They said there'd be a monetary payment for answering questions. They asked if I had any children under 20 months (I think), and I said my youngest was 21 y.o. They said thank you, but they didn't need to ask any more questions. They hung up. They called yesterday, and I was on another call and hung up on them. You'd think they'd move on to someone else after that, but they called back anyway.
I am sick and tired of the constant calls! I have asked the to STOP and they do not.
They are relentless - keep calling. I do not answer. My number is blocked, but it doesn't matter to them. I suspected a scam !!
Terrell called from the "Research Center" regarding a phone survey being conducted by the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Caller stated that he was gathering information about Children's Immunizations and wanted to speak to the head of the household who would be in charge of making sure the children were immunized. I told him nicely the first time that that information was none of his or UWM's business and that I wanted to be removed from call list. When he started reading his script again... I was much more firm with my direction to him and UWM.
they have called 2 days in a row and no message. I do not answer calls if I do not recognize the number. they could at least leave a message with why they are calling.

It's a company hired by different companies that want to do customer satisfaction surveys about their products. This one was in reference to a personal banking service I use.
They called me 4 times before finally leaving a voicemail.
Survey company regarding work I had done on my car with a collision shop. They called five times over the course of 4 days, never leaving a message.Declined to take the survey. Guy tried to talk me into taking it.
I got 4 calls already today and its only 4:38. Caller not leaving a message.. I am sick of these calls
Caller claimed to be calling on a survey from the company my auto insurance is with. When I identified that I have NO credit cards, I got "Thank you very much, have a wonderful day". End of 'survey'. Probable scam. I am also reporting this identity falsification to my auto insurance company.
