I. bought a extended warranty from them for 100000mile extened. when I went to use the warranty, they refused to pay anything. came up with an excuse why they did not cover this. the repair shop talked to them and they basicly told him to take a hike. I called them and a woman chewed me out for calling and continued to lie to me and then hung up. This company is one big scam. Do not buy from them. I turned them into the attorney general of tx. but don't expect anything to come from this. Just beware of all extened warranties.

I got this call and pressed '1'. I got a CSR who said 'I just need to verify the make and model year of your car sir!' I said 'How 'bout you tell me what's on your screen and I'll tell you if it's right.' She gasped a little and said 'You have a wonderful day sir!' and hung up with a quickness. I love it.

By the way, KP in NJ, those numbers DO look VERY familiar.... I have over ten numbers these people have called from... 402-982-0442, 208-783-0733, 202-610-3068, 818-870-5081, 866-209-7845, 626-207-9192, 810-742-6219,
310-599-9153, 609-662-3250, 818-870-5076, 310-599-9159, 847-232-3321...
This is bullsh*t!! There should be something we can do to get these people to stop calling! I was thinking about sitting down after midnight on a weekday... marking my number private and start calling these numbers back. Hopefully, if I can find a working number and someone picks up, hang up and call back in about five minutes! Give them back some of the hell they've been giving all the other hardworking people!!

To J:

Try the FCC. A woman claimed that she called the FCC and she started fining them everytime they called pretty soon they stopped calling. No one knows exactly where the warranty help desk is located. They are so hush hus about it that no one truly knows.

Same Car Warranty scammers that have called every other day to my cell (which is new and unpublished)
using a previous called from phone # of (810) 742-6219.

Message always left on my cell voice mail (I don't pick up if I don't recognise a ph #).

The problem is...anyone that DOES pick up or replay their voicemail gets charged to listen to this scammmer's message.

I will check back on this site to see if there is any consensus or details on how we can proceed to register
complaints, report them to who should hear about this...AND...sue them ! Thanks all for getting together on this.

P.S. Should we all send something to the address or report their office ph# to FTC? Or send a rash of junk to their fax # ? or...?

A previous post indicated the scam business is:

This is a pre-recorded call and when you try to call it, it is busy. Imagine that!! My phone numbers are all registered with Do Not Call and they just ignore it. Well, maybe it is time to look up the law on harrassing phone calls and SUE these people. The phony number is 810-742-6219 that has harrassed my 15 year old on his cell phone 5 times in about a 2 hour block of time.

I called the number given by Tele Engineer -- a guy named Doug answered and when I told them to take my 2 cell phones off the list, he giggled and connected me to customer service. A teleprompter told me I had 1 call in front of me and could leave a message or press any button other than 1 and stay on the line. Since I was in such a crappy mood, I did actually hold for about ten minutes until some woman named Kelly apologized profusely and promised to take me off the list. I'm guessing that she was giving me lip service and that the calls will not stop. If you follow the link http://telemarketinglawsuit.com/ you can do some more reading about these scam calls. Also, you can put in the company name (Vehicle Services, Inc. + St. Peters, MO) and see what else pops up.

Thanks Tele Engineer. Don't these people get charged when someone calls their 866 number? A flood of calls might get their attention.

We have received dozens and dozens of calls with same female recording warning us that our vehicle warranty is about to expire! This has to be a SCAM! How do these thieves sleep at night??? How pathetic and cowards they are! Get a real decent job! They should use their brains to do good in this world! Warn everybody about this. Hang up or just yell SCAM into the phone and report it to anyone that would listen.

Calling my cellular and home phone. Trying to use an automated 'pre-screener' from another geographical location to hide. Not this time. This is the company who owns the phone the computer pre-screener switched to when I pressed "1" at the prompting of the automated call. I will get the number and address of the company or individual operating the pre-screener software as soon as I get enough hits on the switch to pull the logs all quiet like. I've had enough of this crap. There's no telling if you are getting called from this same dirt bag. They are trying to change the CID info.
