I have received at least 15 phone calls over the last four days. Each time I ask the Prison Fellowship to STOP CALLING. They continue to call. This is harassment, pure and simple. Come on! Today I have received 6 calls!!! This has to be a scam for them to be so persistent in this harassment.

This number also called me and i said i would pledge some money but didn't want to give out my credit card number over the phone. They repeated 2 or 3 times that it would save them on postage and put my money to work immediately etc. but i said if you want the money you'll have to send something to me (i never give out my addresss either, just wait to see if they really have it). Most reputable charities will be happy to send you something by snail mail so you can verify where it came from and then send back a check to them. They seemed impatient with me and I still have not received anything by mail so I'm really wondering if this was a scam. I'm glad I never gave them my CC number.

I've supported Prison Fellowship off-n-on for a number of years, and have subscribed to their "breakpoint" emails for a long, long time. I don't think I've ever received a phone call from them, though I do get the occaisional snail-mail solicitation, esp. around this time of year. I think Shirly may be on to something... sounds like a scam to me. I don't think PF would behave that way.

BTW, their website does not mention "Henrico VA" anywhere - though other cities in VA are listed. I don't know that part of the country very well, so have no clue how close one may be to the other.

We get calls several times a day at different times, sometimes caller ID is Prison Fellowship and sometimes Unknown. If it truly is Prison Fellowship I am surprised at their tactics in trying to get money. I have always had a very high opinion of them and the work they do in helping Prisoners. Could this possibly be a scam on Prison Fellowship? We don't answer the calls but it is very inconsiderate of them to keep calling - we are older and don't appreciate getting the calls.

Said "Steven" did this last year. Said she was calling from Missouri. Told her I was on tehe NY Do not call list and to never call again. Believe it or not...she hung up on me. 3rd call I've gotten from them in a week.
