Google says this is David Logan (804) 230-3457 1608 Alaska Dr, Richmond, VA 23224 . Maybe if everyone starts calling or e-mailing him he'll learn his lesson and leave us alone!

Woman's name was "Jessica" and she gave bogus last name like Smith, Brown, Jones. Couldn't pin her down for last name. Said she represented Warranty Help Desk in Atlanta GA. Told them not to call again. Obvious SCAM.

You know that annoying shriek you get when you dial a number that has been "disconnected or is no longer in service"? I called a new friend the other day and he had that shriek as the very first sound I heard. When I asked him about it, he said that telemarketers take you off the list when they hear it. At least the robocalls understand that there is nobody there. He says he doesn't get any telemarketing calls anymore.

I received call didn't answer called back disconnected. I have over 50 different numbers they have called from. I Have already filed a complaint with FCC. I have also contacted FBI, U S SERVICE, the local police are dumb they're no help at all. My next step is contact my Attorney General for the state of Ga. Next time they call you , RECORD THE CALL PLAY ALONG WITH THEM GIVE THEM FAKE CHECKING ACCOUNT INFORMATION!AT&T/BELLSOUTH IS SUPPLYING THEM WITH OUR NUMBERS, THEY HAVE A BREACH IN SECURITY THERE. I HAVE ALSO CONTACTED AT&T AND TOLD THEM THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING!

If you posted your information on an internet job search board (Monster, HotJobs, etc) that is how they get your number. Do not put your telephone number on thos eboards. These scammers will get it. Post your number as: 214-000-1111, or some other dummy number. Have employers initially contact you via email, otherwise these scammers are calling!

I've received a few calls like this myself. I've had my phone number for several years now. My vehicle never had a warranty. What's better than that? I never even HAD a vehicle with a warranty!

As far as I know, there's no use trying to "get off the list". Being told that you will seems to be just lip service. You may get "off the list" for that number, but seeing that this scam alone has over 100 phone numbers, that's a lot of lost phone minutes telling them to remove you.

I instead just made a contact on my phone named "spam" and whenever I get a number that I don't know or doesn't leave a message, that's the contact in which it goes under. That way I don't accidentally pick it up and can just cancel the call.
