I was called on many cell phone today from a woman who sounded Indian or something. There was line static and echoing. She claimed she was from AOL and that my account had been reported for sending spam and viruses. I was in my car, and was asked do I have a computer or laptop. I said I was in my car. They asked when they could call when I would be home. They never called. I was waiting. I knew the call was bull. I also tried calling the number back and it says it is disconnected. Lord only knows what crap they are up to. Jerks. Get a damn job.

Called me and then proceeded to tell me I was a bitch and whore and when I told them my husband wasn't home. Then I told him I would pray for him he's an evil man I told him he needed Jesus and me he was Jesus and that Jesus didn't love me
Said he was from Microsoft and that computer was sending messages that something was wrong. Talked my husband into giving him access, locked the computer and proceeded to request a Western Union transfer to Mark Roger in India for $100 to unlock it. Said that transfer had to be done immediately otherwise he would not release computer. Said he would call back to get the transfer information.
unknown accent caller called and hung up
The same caller id# appeared from "Salt Lake City, Utah" on 2 cell phones and land-line which all 3 rang simultaneously but no one was on any line. Very odd!
Foreign guy trying really hard to fake an American-ish accent, with the usual boiler-room operation background noise. Claimed to be from "Government Grants" and wanted to give me several thousand dollars, if only I'd provide some personal details and bank account information ..
Called at 9:47 let it ring once and hung up
Got a call @ 12:45 am. Past midnight. When I noticed @ 6:00 am that I had missed a call past midnight, it concerned me and I called back. Got a message that number is no longer in service. Would this have anything to do with our administration tracking our phones?
they call repeatedly every day but never leave a message.
Monday, November 25, 2013 - This #801-656-2093 from "Customer Focus" called me at 7:32 am, woke me up, and proceeded to tell me that they had indications that my computer was infected with a virus 'from the internet'. The background noise, the foreign accent and the way he repeated himself sounded like he was reading it from a pre-written spiel. I recognized the phone call as one I had gotten a few months before. I'm not that naive and, like the first time, told him that, "No. If I have a problem on my computer, I call someone, someone does not call me, good-bye....good-bye...GOOD-BYE!" and hung up on him. I had to repeat myself because he started trying to talk over me. I was too mad to go back to sleep and Googled the # and found this site. I'm concerned for those people who answer the phone, believe what they say and give out personal information.
Caller pretended to be someone at our company, asked for information on execs....cell numbers, etc.
CALLED FOR GLADYS STEVENS MANY TIMES EVEN AFTER I TOLD HIM THIS WAS THE WRONG NUMBER. CALLED BACK TO BACK FROM MULTIPLE NUMBERS. AFTER A FEW CALLS I TOLD HIM I WAS GLADYS STEVENS AND HE JUST HUNG UP AND CONTINUED TO CALL BACK FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS, MULTIPLE TIMES.
Called our company stating that we were in the top 5,000 fastest growing companies in the country and wanted to send recognition to us.
Indian male voice, calling about computer maintenance... didn't identify a known company or service. Will report to FTC. Sounded like a scam.
