I looked this number up on white pages web site and the owner of the number is listed as Shanta Edley of Evanston, IL not Wells Fargo. It looks like the comments on this site are old but I guess this scammer is back to using Wells Fargo on her caller ID.
This number called my house multiple times and no one is on the other end - I take these as some type of scam calls because scammers have figured out how to manipulate the caller ID's. Caller ID does state Wells Fargo but the scams from the IRS also state IRS on the caller ID. Be careful people - don't give out any personal information, if you do owe money contact the bank using the number on your statements.
I have been receiving calls from this number for a year. Today, they called at 11 a.m. and just before 9 p.m. All of my bills/mortgage are up to date, and when I called Wells Fargo to verify, they said there was no reason to contact me. This is a fraudulent phone number. The first thing they will ask you is for your account number. DO NOT GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ANYBODY WHO CALLS YOU. Always verify by calling your bank first.
Wells Fargo calls me at last 2 - 3 days a day when I am one day late on a mortgage payment. Even get calls on Sunday, like today!!!

They are Wells Fargo confirmed and they are a pest
They have identified themselves as Wells Fargo. They are calling for someone who hasn't lived here for decades. They refuse to send any sort of notice by mail, which confirms for me that they have no legitimate business with the people they're calling for.
I told them Do Not Call. Two hours later, they called again!
Please, please, please, use the following link:
I have asked them to take my number off of their Robo call list several times and they say they will and I still am getting calls. I am up to date on my payments I did take my payment off of auto pay and my payments may not get there prompting on the first but still within grace period.
Calls me all the time trying to collect before forecloser. Fuck you WF! You can eat my condo.
i will not be Threaten over this matter
fyi you dont get a credit mark unless you are 30 days past due....IN YOUR GRACE PERIOD IS STILL LATE.......you should probably answer their calls and maybe you wont get a "black mark" on your credit.

wells fargo home equity. they called my cell then my work w/in 20 seconds. Message was 'this is wells fargo home equity. we have some important news to share! please call us back at 800-944-4601
called repeatedly; said they were from Wells Fargo and that our payments were late even though they were within grace period; we never had a late payment or fee, but they put a black mark on our credit report; they kept asking for personal information; more like a phishing scam or a collection agency than a bank
No message left. Called 3x's today. caller ID says "toll free" I did not answer nor will I.
I have received three calls so far today, each one at approximately 40 minutes past the hour, from 11:37 until most recently at 1:42. In each instance, the call was disconnected before I could answer the phone. Caller ID showed the number in my missed calls list, and when I called Wells Fargo, they said there was no reason in the system for them to be calling me. I suspect, therefore, that this is a phishing scam asking me to insert my account number and PIN so that someone can gain access to my account.

He asked for my husband - said it's regarding a personal bank matter. There is absolutely no possibility it's regarding late payments, so they must be trying to sell him some other credit or bank account.
