Hi There,

Our company creates custom engaging animated presentation videos for businesses like yours to help increase your online exposures.

Animated presentation videos help companies explain their products or services more efficiently to potential customers.

Potential customers engage more when there’s a video presentation, most of us would rather watch a video that explains a product or a service than to read the content of a website to know what the offer is.

I'm interested in creating an animated presentation video for your company to help increase your online exposure!

Please reply back to this message and I will send you some of our animated video samples so you can see what I can do to help your business grow this year.

Thank you,
Steve S

Scammers are on here too. Keep in mind that authorization code is always triggered by YOUR ACTIONS! Not by actions of others! Your actions trigger the authorization code being sent to you! This is not Zelle or anyone trying to send money to you! That will never trigger an authorization code! You trying to login to your acct will trigger an authorization code. You trying to send money will trigger authorization code!

I also just got a text from this number claiming I had requested to receive an authorization code, and I should call them. Thanks to this page for confirming it is a scam.

Now what i said below still means you should not give any info to a number. Just log into your bank of america account and set up Zelle to see if you actually have a transfer coming through. I would think that most people would know if someone is trying to send them money though.

This is actually Zelle which is like venmo for bank of america. Basically if you got this text or email it means that someone is trying to send you money via zelle. If you log into your bank of america account and set up Zelle it will send you a confirmation code which will look just like the email or text you received. This just happened to me as a friend transferred me money using Zelle.

Continued from previous Daniel.
I called the number and was told by Kevin in New England that the letter is a fraud and that I should forward it to "abuse@bankofamerica.com".I have not done that yet. I did not go to "Click Here" link.
When I called, the automated asks for credit card number to expidite the transaction. I gave them a wrong number. Called number on back of credit card they said to forward the letter but to never give out personal data. They already have it.

E-mail said my B of A account has been locked because the number of attempts to sign in exceeded the number allowed for access and I need to reset my password. I called B of A and was told to forward it to abuse@bankofamerica.com The tip off was there were spelling errors in the email.

Phishing Call came in at 8:07pm this evening from a number listed as:
(514)940-3507
Googled the number like everyone else here to learn any helpful information about these Potential Phishers. Logged on to:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/index.jsp?page_msg=mbna
Clicked on the "Report Suspicious email" link under the "Privacy & Security" section.
Emailed Bank of America at: abuse@bankofamerica.com
Explained the phone call and gave the (514)940-3507 phone number so as the Customer Representative at Bank of America informed me that indeed it was not them who were calling from that number. The CSRep notified me that "IF" Bank of America ever does attempt to call their customer's they add a notation for verification on the account so that it can be validated by customers with similar concerns.

To report a suspicious email that uses Bank of America's name, forward it to us immediately at abuse@bankofamerica.com.
