I'm currently going through identity/fraud and I had everything freeze alert then I recently received numerous text from 484-715-3178 that my TransUnion scores are ready with a website to Bank of America 1-800-933-6262 which directed me to an automated phone service just exactly like the real BofA phone line.then I spoke to a person asking for my account # which I couldn't provide then he proceeds to say that someone opened an account under my name and he asked for my SSI# and CDL# and he would email me with the info and gave me a game conf.#..there was no email ever sent so I called back the Next day and it was the same type of questions and by that time I knew it was all a scam .i went on the internet and googled the number to my surprise numerous people has been misled also.these ppl needs to be prosecuted somehow and are they even being investigated.

I got text message "<#>BofA: Your code is 104343. Don't share it; we won't call to ask for it. Call 800.933.6262 if you didn't request it."
I called from company phone that sends out the board # and masks my real #. It appeared to be genuine BoA phone... but I have no account with BoA so I didn't reach very far with their system.

Update. I called BOA. They said that is one of their numbers, but it means that someone has tried to access my account with my ID and password. That person just does not have the passcode needed to get to my account. (He didn't explain about the people without BOA accounts getting that text.) He had me change my password and username.

Shows up as 73-981. I've gotten 4 texts from them since December. When you call it asks for the last 4 of your social or card number just like the bank. However, BOA should recognize your phone number from your account and state that your are calling BOA.

I received a text "BofA: Your requested code is ******. Don't share the code with anyone - we won't call to ask for it. If you didn't request it, call us at 800.933.6262."

I don't have any association with Bank of America and obviously didn't request any code. I did not call the number.

Hi There,

Our company creates custom engaging animated presentation videos for businesses like yours to help increase your online exposures.

Animated presentation videos help companies explain their products or services more efficiently to potential customers.

Potential customers engage more when there’s a video presentation, most of us would rather watch a video that explains a product or a service than to read the content of a website to know what the offer is.

I'm interested in creating an animated presentation video for your company to help increase your online exposure!

Please reply back to this message and I will send you some of our animated video samples so you can see what I can do to help your business grow this year.

Thank you,
Steve S

Scammers are on here too. Keep in mind that authorization code is always triggered by YOUR ACTIONS! Not by actions of others! Your actions trigger the authorization code being sent to you! This is not Zelle or anyone trying to send money to you! That will never trigger an authorization code! You trying to login to your acct will trigger an authorization code. You trying to send money will trigger authorization code!

Now what i said below still means you should not give any info to a number. Just log into your bank of america account and set up Zelle to see if you actually have a transfer coming through. I would think that most people would know if someone is trying to send them money though.

This is actually Zelle which is like venmo for bank of america. Basically if you got this text or email it means that someone is trying to send you money via zelle. If you log into your bank of america account and set up Zelle it will send you a confirmation code which will look just like the email or text you received. This just happened to me as a friend transferred me money using Zelle.

Continued from previous Daniel.
I called the number and was told by Kevin in New England that the letter is a fraud and that I should forward it to "abuse@bankofamerica.com".I have not done that yet. I did not go to "Click Here" link.
When I called, the automated asks for credit card number to expidite the transaction. I gave them a wrong number. Called number on back of credit card they said to forward the letter but to never give out personal data. They already have it.

Phishing Call came in at 8:07pm this evening from a number listed as:
(514)940-3507
Googled the number like everyone else here to learn any helpful information about these Potential Phishers. Logged on to:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/index.jsp?page_msg=mbna
Clicked on the "Report Suspicious email" link under the "Privacy & Security" section.
Emailed Bank of America at: abuse@bankofamerica.com
Explained the phone call and gave the (514)940-3507 phone number so as the Customer Representative at Bank of America informed me that indeed it was not them who were calling from that number. The CSRep notified me that "IF" Bank of America ever does attempt to call their customer's they add a notation for verification on the account so that it can be validated by customers with similar concerns.

To report a suspicious email that uses Bank of America's name, forward it to us immediately at abuse@bankofamerica.com.
