i think trafone does eavesdrop. if you leave your phone near a t.v. when you're not using the phone, you may hear some buzzing type sound from the phone, which i think indicates they have tapped in. I started doing this after i got a text from them "TALK ALL YOU WANT" urging me to purchase a tracfone card, immediately after speaking with a private doctor for about 45 minutes. Anyway, i have been getting a house call from 800-867-7183 every time i am not home. thats odd. today after my spouse left to run an errand using my vehicle, they again called. i guess they thought no one would be home. this time i answered and they said they needed to update the phone, which was done last month or month before. i had to call them then to get the minutes that i had purchased which did not arrive to my phone.

it was tracfone..i was having trouble..it was a call to check on my phone..tracfone uses att network so you may not have tracfone but do have att they might call by mistake..i'm just guessing..or your number maybe recycled and not cleared from their database? hope this helps
Returned call to this number and recording ID'd as Tracphone and proceeded to only give me the options of choosing to connect to Tracphone or SafeLink. Something in the milk ain't clean Somewhere and we all deserve the right to know. it will come to the lite soon.

Attempted to add more time to my phone with an AirTime pin number. Unnecessarily during the process an operator's voice just interrupted me and asked for the phone and pin number and then lied to me and said the pin was invalid. So I said let me hang up this phone and I did. when I called the service provider back I immediately rcvd a call back from the 800# and just declined the call. Then they had the audacity to call Again. So I just declined Again.

Also had call from these scammers. Of course the even bigger scammer is the FCC with their unenforced do-no-call list. The do-not-call list is a joke because the crooked FCC does not enfore it. They give a few companies a few small fines each year. That is it. Pure corruption.
This number is TracFone's Customer Service.

This number is on my bill and shows 19 minutes. I *67 called it and get "TY for calling TracFone"...I have no idea who this is or why I was charged for a 19 minute call.
I have received numerous calls from this number and they always say "This is about your credit card account". I have reported them to the FCC at the Do Not Call List page and have told them numerous times not to call my number. It has to be a scam. The name shows Unknown Caller. I traced the call for Frontier Telephone who told me to call the number and select option 1 and they would take me off the list. That doesn't work and Frontier Telephone is pathetic. They will not help their customers resolve any harassing calls from telemarketers.

This number is a Tracfone. Please call tracfone at 800-867-7183
to report 901-212-0684 as calling trying to solicit your credit card information. I called and advised them that beings how they are the provider for the phone service they are liable for the fraudulent calls being made by it. It was originally an AT&T/Cingular Wireless number that was ported over to Tracfone.
don't even have a tracfone and got a call I dislike them
If they don't identify themselves, i hang up. They called me twice, first time no one was there, 2nd time didn't identify themselves and I could hear background noise. When it's my minutes that are being chewed up. ID yourself or get off my phone
Robot message was not understandable. Called on my AT&T cell phone, which is listed on Do Not Call registry. What's wrong with this picture? I have had no dealings with Tracfone, if that's the company.
i like dis company and i have 1
It is tracfone. I have one and they call me to let me know when they are running specials. I checked the box for them to do that when i bought my 5th phone. you can opt out if you like. That box is already checked when you purchase min. from them. If you watch and uncheck it, they wont call.
My son had been given a replacement TracFone for his birthday and he had some difficulty getting his old TracFone number transferred to his new phone. This call was from a TracFone Customer Service Representative for the purpose of assisting him in finishing the setup. They did get the problem resolved in a short period of time. TracFone isn’t for everyone but it works for him especially when he receives this type of customer service.
yeah, I have a TracFone - but... if I want minutes - I'll go to the gas station and get them. Don't call me.
Call that number (800) 867-7183 and on their menu, they have an option to take your number off their caller list. I did that, and it works!
Hey, there's a TracFone ad on this page ! What's up with that ?

i had a gentleman call me and he told me that my cell phone number was the number that Tracphone gave him as his new number..a few mins later a 800 # called, when I answered they hung up..I called the number back and it was tracphone..how rude of them to hang up without asking me any questions and letting me know who they were.
I have a tracfone, and got a recorded message about buying more time. My response. I called them and told them NOT TO CALL ME!! They called the next day with the same message. I smashed the tracfone and mailed it back to them with a copy of my purchase agreement with Cingular
Lost a customer, the only way to hit them where it hurts!

I think they recently changed something because my caller ID now says: Tracphone. Not to defend trackphone, but I think they ask for home line so it is convenient for you. At least they let you know who they are.
I have no idea who is calling, as "unavailable" registers on caller ID. STOP IT ALREADY! If I was interested, I'D HUNT YOU DOWN to buy your product!!!
TracFone -- believe it or not they called me on my Skype-In number!!! I can't believe Skype sells our information, my Skyp-In number is only a couple of weeks old.
ADVERTISING on my private home phone number?! Looks like I'm switching cell providers!!!
I bought minutes from them once and now they are calling to sell me more minutes.
