Who Called Us

Do not give them any info. GLOBAL MGT is involved in human sex trafficking. These are very dangerous people, I got this information from the New York State Attorney General's office in regards to Global Management

I received a call from 570-867-9788, which is an area code registered in PA. I was given a call back number of 800-839-1639. Voicemail states "in accordance with state and federal regulations you are hereby being notified of the pending claim in our office. File number is ..... yada yada yada. I immediately called them because I was scared shitless. They lady explained that it was a credit card that I failed to pay on and I'm being sued for fraud and breach of contract. She emailed me documents; the original letter and a settlement offer. I told her I am not going to pay this until I do my own research.

Can anyone give input? Scam?

I believe it is a scam as well.

they called me but i think i figured it out. if yo u have applied for any jobs online then expect them to hit you with everything you have given out to those " Potential employers". real employers don't ask for SSN until hiring date and or in person. i started getting calls from these people after i applied for a job position that seamed to good to be true.

Calls everyday stating there is a pending claim against Me and myself or my lawyer has to call back and they give a reference number. This has been happening for a few months.

I am so happy that I have found this group. I have been called by "Global Management" for about 3 years. I put a message that I do not answer calls without name and number. What worries me is they called from Louisiana (504 area code) which is where I lived 4 years ago. I changed my home number to Private and they some how got the number. I would like to know if any one actually knows what they say this is about?

SCAM Voicemail from 720-613-1421 - "Erin S Mitchell in accordance with State and Federal Regulations you are hereby being notified of a pending claim in our office. Your file number is 116-****. It is in your best interest to speak to a live representative now by pressing one or either you or your attorney contact Global Management at telephone number 800-839-1639. This is an urgent matter requiring your immediate attention. Please reference your file number when calling in Erin S Mitchell. You have been officially notified. Thank you."

These guys suck. They've called me twice already this week and their voicemails go through even though I have them blocked. Not sure how that's happening. The caller ID shows a local number with my area code but refers me to call 800-839-1639. Something about state and federal regulations and it is an urgent matter that I call back right away. And I have been notified. They even give a 7-digit reference number. I was totally freaked out the first time around, but one big red flag was they called me by my old married name which I have not used in over a decade. I like someone else's advice of if it's really an urgent matter, wait until they serve you real court papers and then explain to the judge why you didn't respond to this garbage.

The caller has now called me twice, once I answered (I get unknown callers often for work), and the other went to voicemail. The local robocall came from 909-281-8250 directing me to call 800-839-1639 with a 7 digit reference number and to have either my lawyer or myself call them back. I did not call them back, as I was one who suffered in the Equifax breach. They did call me by my maiden name, which is a name I do not use, therefore I realized it was a scam. I have blocked the number from calling me using the local feature on my mobile device. Do not believe anyone who calls and tries to get money from you, even if you have bad credit, NEVER give out your unsolicited information over the phone!!! They want you, let them serve you real court papers where you can explain to a judge why you never responded.

Called and left a message saying it was a legal matter and that I had been notified. Requested me or a layer to contact them with a certain file number.

800-839-1639 calls and says to have me or my lawyer call and threaten a ton of non-sensical things. Scam and annoying as...

Left a message telling me to call them back right away! They say I have been notified. This isn't the first time I have received this call. They use a local number with my same area code and then give me an 800 number to call back. I also have this number blocked, but they still get through.

They left me a message saying I needed to call them back or have my attorney call them. Claimed that I have been notified.

They are leaving messages claiming that I've been "officially notified" about a pending claim and that I, or my attorney, must attend to this "urgent matter." This is a scam.

This want to be “Global Management “ gave me specific details about my information, las 4 is Social security number, address and other details, that makes you think they are real, they “ms Rain” claim to send me to court for unpaid balance on a chase bank card. Funny story, she refused to 3 way with Chase Bank to verify her claim. And said they are not aware, because they are a 3rd party from collection. I realized she was lying about everything because she called me by my second name. Very unusual, since I don’t apply to anything with my second name. While during the call searched for the phone number and saw reports of scamming. Thanks to this site, I didn’t become another victim of this people. 👍😊

SCAMMERS....Left a message that I need to call back Global Management at 1-800-839-1639 for an urgent matter. That I have NOW BEEN officially notified and myself or my attorney should call them. It's a scam. I found on another site that the 800# is reported as a known operation wanting to scare you into thinking they will take your tax refund unless you settle a debt. They will suggest mainstream credit cards to get you to respond positively that you have that card and that it's delinquent and that they will settle for pennies on the dollar, but you have to pay them now.....This number has called me once a month since January.
