They also call under 800-927-2291. It does no good to answer and tell them to stop calling. They want you to extend warranties on items you bought. They will bombard you about every 6 months. Eventually, the calls stop.

May 22nd, 2014 Betty Mason NC

Why are you calling me everyday? What is your problem? I didn't win the lottery and I don't need you calling my home everyday at the same time thank God for call blocking. Now stop calling or I'm calling the CEO of Sears Holdings.

February 15th, 2014 jnelson MS

they called @8 AM on this Sat morning, told them too early didnt call back so I just called them..asked why are you calling my no..of course she said not her making calls, took some info and said it was for the protection warranty on my dryer (that we have had worked on just a couple mos. ago, fuse replaced cost $20/back to my call this day, told her to cancel said she would and there would be no more calls..we shall see..just hope they dont cont. those early Sat morning calls...trying to make breakfast for the hubby @ that time...a good day to all!

January 8th, 2014 Nishimura

received call on 1/7/14 at 5:21pm Hawaii time. caller said my LCD warranty expired and wanted to know if I wanted to renew for 1 year. I said no if my tv breaks I would buy a new one. He said "right" and hung up. I felt that it was uncalled for and unprofessional. If he has that kind of attitude don't call any customer of Sears. It makes Sears look bad!

I don't know who is calling. I don't pick up, and they hang up on my answering machine.

October 24th, 2013 D L Mac IL

Wish they would stop calling here.

October 8th, 2013 LLoyd Bonifide CA

That rips it!! We go thru this crud several times a year from Sears extended warranty service. I think they must be outsourced from a foreign country or have wax build up in their ears, because they keep calling back after guarenteeing the calls will stop. They get downright snotty when you tell them not to call back, too.
Sears Corporation will be going out of business very soon, but we will get these calls long after Sears folds, because the warranty service has an independant life of its own.

August 17th, 2013 looie NY

Called at 8:07 this morning. I didn't pick up and there was no message. If this is indeed Sears, why are they calling me? I have no appliances under warranty with them.

August 6th, 2013 Lauren FL

Continues to call the past few days and does not leave any messages. Internet states this is Sears Warranty. I don't know how they got my number, but I wish the calls would stop.....

June 22nd, 2013 Legal girl CA

This is sears. They call constantly over and over again saturday or Sunday after 9 at night. They are relentless.

May 29th, 2013 clair

caller ID "Unavailable" they did not leave a message.

May 25th, 2013 joan NY

I have received a call from this number at least 5 times every day for many weeks. Sometimes they call after I am in bed. When I see the number in my ID box I do not answer.

May 24th, 2013 Joan NY

Cal was received after my bedtime.

April 27th, 2013 Kate KY

April 6th, 2013 Sears Sucks

I filed a complaint against Sears for these illegal and repeated calls with the Better Business Bureau. I then get a copy of a letter from Sears written by Dana Shoulders from 512-248-7740 with an email of claiming that I purchased a extended warranty that expired 04/01/2013 and that I had purchased a TV in 2010 which gives them the right to call me at anytime they please.

The only problem is that Dana Shoulders is lying!

Folks, do not purchase from Sears!

They will violate Federal Laws and harass you over and over and over. Then their employees like Dana Shoulders will lie!

Did not leave a message, but i received another call from a "Toll Free Number" and the person was from Sears trying to sell an extended warranty for appliances. They use different phone numbers.

March 23rd, 2013 Ravens Watch

Here is a letter that I wrote 02/26/10 that shows just how rude and unprofessional Sears is... and make no mistake these repeated hangup calls are coming from Sears:

Sears Holdings Corporation
3333 Beverly Road
Hoffman Estates, IL 60179
(847) 286-2500
(847) 645-4003

Attention: W. Bruce Johnson, Interim Chief Executive Officer and President

Re: Rude Unprofessional Telemarketing Calls

To Whom It May Concern:

As you read this letter, please keep in mind that the company who installed our Sears Water Heater, had to come out twice because the installation was done so bad that it failed the county inspection. Keep in mind that the installer actually stole parts to our water heater timer rendering it unusable!

(I actually watched him throw the parts into his tool box… not realizing what he had done until I went to use the timer several weeks later!)

Today, I received yet another rude unprofessional telemarketing call from Sears about renewing a worthless Sears Extended Warranty Service Contract. The call came multiple times from (800) 827-6655, (which has hundreds of complaints posted on the Internet.) The second time they called today, I ended up speaking with a person called Mike, who kept interrupting me. At which point I asked to speak with his manager.

When the manger came on the phone, he identified himself as Mr. Mike Burger. I found his conduct to be rude, unprofessional and condescending. In fact, he was so argumentative, that I even commented that if he continued, I would send off a complaint letter to the Sears Holding Corporation. His reaction was to place the phone on the desk as I listened to him talk to his employees!

I don’t want to ever receive another call from your unprofessional company again!

Not only did the installation fail inspection... Parts to my timer were stolen by the Sears installers!

February 13th, 2013 granny CA

They call several times a day, every day and I am fed up. Next time they will be sorry! This has been going on for far too long!!

December 31st, 2012 Bill VT

Calls come in many times a day, all hours, never leaves a message. Very annoying and harrassing

November 8th, 2012 brettski1 CA

I have received calls from this number numerous times over the past three or four years. I never answer when the caller ID says the name is TOLL FREE CALLER. They never leave a message, which would be understandable if I owed them money. But i don't. And it is puzzling because, when Sears' call center in North Carolina calls me, my caller ID says SEARS. So, if they don't send their name along with the call, it's not because they don't know how.

November 1st, 2012 woken up at 8AM NC

I stayed up all night long to do work, and was finally able to go to sleep, but was woken up by this "Toll Free Call" at around 8AM!!!! I've received may be two calls everyday for the past two weeks. Sears needs to stop this.

October 31st, 2012 pc CA

October 12th, 2012 Lito HI

Today I received at least three calls. Has been calling almost daily and always more than once. No message left, never left any message. Don't why they are calling. And if I answer, nobody answers back. Very frustrating.

October 4th, 2012 anotherperson CA

We don't answer "toll free calls". Identify yourself if you are legitimate. Or leave a message if you don't want to be blocked.

October 3rd, 2012 sickofphoneads CA

Have received multiple calls from this number. I screen all calls, and never pick up if it might - like this one - be advertising. I am sick and tired of being busy with a task around the house and having to drop everything to see whose ID is showing up on a call that is usually more advertising!

September 2nd, 2012 Just Me IL

We have a Sears warranty. Calling to confirm service appointment.

August 7th, 2012 qb again CA

i owe them no money and all warrantys are current. These calls make me want to no longer do business with Sears at least not for appliance purchases!

May 19th, 2012 Mollee CA

Hey! We don't answer "toll free calls". Identify yourself if you are legitimate.

May 11th, 2012 CJ

When a call comes in from "Toll Free" and no one answers or leaves a message, I block the phone number. I also block these annoying calls from "out of area"

April 14th, 2012 Heidi G AZ

I receive daily calls from this number, several times a day. No one answers, no one leaves a message. What's the use of having a phone, if you can't do anything about the junk calls!!!

April 4th, 2012 Juan NV

Do you have call rejection or call blocking feature on your phone service. If yes, use it.

April 4th, 2012 Juan NV

This has the smell of someone trying to sell extended warranties on products bought from Sears.
Except in exceptional circumstances, extended warranties profit no one except the warranty seller.

February 23rd, 2012 qb CA

Although I do have an extended warranty with Sears they always call ! I told them I do no business over the phone however they start calling 2 months before the current one expires. You will recieve the paperwork in the mail and the calls will finally stop after your check clears. Annoying at the least!

February 18th, 2012 Mike NY

They called at 8:10 AM on a Saturday

February 17th, 2012 Andrew Smith AZ

unkown caller

February 11th, 2012 jdy VA

Sears Protection had to call them back to find out. Calls generally just after 8am on Saturday.

February 11th, 2012 E. Walker VA

I got the call today Sears, as I usually do every years about this time. They are calling to extend the warranty on the products you bought from them. I am not a fan of telemarketers, but this is something i welcome because appliances never seem to break down until after the warranty and the money I would have to pay for repair services alone more than covers the warrant fees I pay. Answer the phone if it is Sears and let them know you want it or you don't, at least the will stop calling.

January 17th, 2012 david909 CA

16 january 2012 -- 7:30 pm -- Caller ID said "unavailable". No message was left.

December 17th, 2011 Dave AZ

If you go to the Sears web site ( you will see a partial list of companies owned by Sears listed at the top of their home page including K-Mart, Lands End, etc. When you click on "See All" you will see even more. So you can reasonably assume that if you do business in any way, i.e. in-store, on-line, etc., with any of these companies you will be added to their call list IF you provided them with your phone when you made a purchase. I took the advise of another poster and called the Sears' customer service number (1-800-469-4663) and asked to have our number removed from their call list. The rep was very nice and said we would not get any more calls from 800-827-6655 starting immediately. So far, we have not received any more calls.

December 9th, 2011 HAnk CA

Caller identified himself as calling from Sears regarding a "Kenmore" furnace I had purchased and Sears had installed a year ago. Message was that the warranty is ending and did I want to renew it?
Two problems (1) Furnace was not a "Kenmore", and (2) furnace has a 10+ year warranty! DUH!
Probably the call was from someone who has access to public records (there was a permit pulled for the installation) and they were just guessing that I (a feeble senior citizen) would fall for this quick line and qive them a credit card number to "buy a warranty extension". I said for them to simply mail me a copy of the warranty extension to me to review.
Not only will they not want to expend the time and effort to send me something to actually review (assuming they actually have something printed), but when they mail it, they will be risking violating federal laws about fraud by distributing it via the US Postal Service.
This means they won't do anything except remove my name from their calling list.

December 6th, 2011 Court WA

This telephone number, 800-827-6655, has been calling just about everyday, sometimes more than once per day and at times twice within the hour. Tonight they called at 7:55 PM with name as NOT PROVIDED. Since so many of you have said it is Sears calling I called and spoke with a woman who said Sears did not that kind of stuff. I referred her to this website and began reading her off some of the comments to see if I could make a believer of her. She either got pissed off or tried to transfer me off to someone else but the line disconnected from her end, not mine. Then I called my local Sears store & asked for management. They are gone but will return at 10:00 AM when I plan on calling them again to tell them about the never ending nuisance calls, the many complaints from the people at the receiving end of the unsolicited calls and to refer them to this website in case they deny it like the woman at tried to do. As for me, I will never buy anything from them again.

November 30th, 2011 Resident47 RI

Annoyed: It's just as I said here in April, you might have to turn up your volume on paper, sent to Sears or its warranty provider via USPS CMRR. Thereafter no excuse for future calls will fly. Once the mint green card returns, you can answer the next call(s) with a summons for TCPA violation.

What many don't realize is that the ''established business relationship'' callers like this wave in your face can be overcome. Under the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) you can revoke call permission anytime, whether you're still a paying customer or not.

All: Please ignore the alias-stealing troll from a month ago. Cursing and cheap insults are not part of my writing style, much less trying to create false conflict while hiding behind other people's user handles like a coward.

November 30th, 2011 annoyed OR

I have called this number back and requested that the calls stop, and I was told all calls would cease. After about a month of no calls, they started up again. When I called back, I was told that they had put a block on "one part but not the other". Again I was reassured that the calls would stop. Tonight another call came in, and when I called back just a minute later, I got a recording that said their offices were closed. I will call again in the morning and also report this on the national do not call list, again.

October 29th, 2011 Janice Johnson

I receive calls from this number every day, at different times of the day and night. When I pick up, no one answers.
Because this has been happening for several weeks, I am going to cancel my credit card with Sears and never shop there again.

October 27th, 2011 Resident47 02 Australia

Where's the admin noticeboard when I need one on here? Bunch of idiots. I can't believe that this "feed your bike biscuits" shit is still going on three years later.

Fuck you RonJ.

August 19th, 2011 RonJ CA

Called at 8:30PM; I picked up the phone and hung it up again so the machine wouldn't record a dial tone. Ten minutes later they called back!!!!!!!!!!!! Twice in 10 minutes. Holy crap, leave me alone.

June 23rd, 2011 Rosa Delk OH

I believe this is Sears we bough a dryer from them & it has an extended warranty on it already. They never leave a message just call over & over again.

June 16th, 2011 PLEASE STOP UT

This is Sears and they are relentlessly trying to get me to pay for an extended warranty on something I bought from them. If you don't answer and tell them to STOP STOP STOP they will continue to call forever.
I'll never shop at Sears again.

May 28th, 2011 LB

If I decide to pickup they will be shocked at my gutter language for sure.
You don't call me...I call you! End of story!

May 20th, 2011 Florida FL

Calls us repeatedly but never leaves a message. Caller ID says "SEARS".

We are on the federal and state do-not-call lists, but Sears is still allowed to repeatedly hang-up-call us because we have done business with them in the past.

We will not make that mistake again!

May 12th, 2011 Linda MI

If you purchased electronics or an appliance from Sears (anything covered by a warranty), then they will try to sell you an extended warranty, and the Do Not Call registry won't protect you because you 'did business' with Sears.

The only thing you can do is ask them to stop calling (be able to prove it) and sue them if they don't.

May 12th, 2011 Florida FL

SEARS and SEARS PROTECT are calling and calling and calling and calling us these days. Never leaving a message.

We are on the state and federal do-not-call lists.

We will never spend another dollar at Sears.

April 28th, 2011 RonJ CA

Utterly relentless............. They call every day, day after day after day. I seriously regret ever buying a Sears product. I never realized it would give them the right to harass me mercilessly forever.

April 21st, 2011 RonJ CA

Called at 7:10PM during dinner, I hung up. Called back again at 7:55. They are merciless!

April 16th, 2011 Resident47 RI

Ginger, the TCPA allows a daily 13 hour call window beginning at 08:00 in your time zone, and the sales callers don't get "days off". Only your state law might overcome this. I don't otherwise know where so many people get the idea the calling period must start later.

It should go without saying that extended warranties are really frivolous insurance creating pure profit for the issuers. When a retail drone dutifully tries to upsell me such worthless paper, I have one response: "If I thought the item was so unreliable I wouldn't purchase it in the first place."

I think rather than get into a call blocking arms race, I would tell the callers flat out they are not welcome, revoking the consent they have borrowed simply because I brought home a new fridge. As commercial entities they should be keeping internal no-call lists. If they won't obey politely, send a cease-comm notice via USPS Certified with card.

April 16th, 2011 Ginger AL

I got a call from this number before 9 AM on a Saturday. I thought they couldn't make telemarketing calls before 9 AM! And this on a morning after we were up all night due to severe storms and tornados!

April 16th, 2011 s OH

Has called repeatedly over the last 3 weeks at least 11-15 times per week. It is Sears Warranty trying to get me to purchase an extended warranty. I have told the callers on 3 different occasions in the last week and a half to not call again. They are still calling. The calls come in as early as 8:15 a.m. and as late as 8:45 at night. I am beside myself about this and I am going to report them for continuing calls where they have been notified not to call again. The calls also come from 800-9272291. Also , does anyone know how to block calls?

March 11th, 2011 KMD MA

Thanks to the other posters for the tip about the other phone number they call from. I've blocked both numbers. See ya, Sears! I don't even know what the heck they are calling about, I haven't set foot in a Sears in years.

March 2nd, 2011 Kristy GA

They have called twice now. I haven't picked up to see who it is.

Yes it's Sears. My dishwasher service agreement ends in 2 weeks. I've received 3 reminders by mail...enough already. The only way to stop the calls is to renew I intend to but what a pain in the butt these constant calls are.

January 15th, 2011 mb MD

I have spoke with 2 representatives from Sears; after approx 2 weeks of their calling 3-5times a day. No message is ever left; and in googling I see a number of other complaints. My protection plan was expiring or had already; they are trying to renew; in all of the calls I received I was hung up on when I answered more than once and finally got frustrated enough that I called back to try and stop the harassment. I spoke with a representative and told her in no uncertain terms I was aware the protection plan was expiring and if I had wanted to renew I would have called them; that they were to take me off their list and never call again. I was stern but polite; that was 8:30pm on 1-14-2011; much to my surprise 8:35am on 1-15-2011 my phone rang again and it was them - I was irate to say the least; I again told them to stop the harassment and I was then told it is an automated number and will continue to call me for 30days...I have since lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

December 18th, 2010 DJ WA

I do not answer calls if I do not recognized the number. This caller does not leave a message.

December 15th, 2010 Roberto NJ

Yep. Sears Protection Agreement. They call when you have a Protection Agreement that is about to expire. They want you to renew. I called back, extension 5, gave them information they already had but had to confirm my ID. I politely told them I was not interested in renewing my SPA. They asked, "May we ask why?" I just said, "We don't really think we need it." They said, "Thank you, sir," and that was the end of the phone calls.

December 8th, 2010 pkr IA

I just want to know how we can block this call ...hangs up after the phone is answered......He said his name is Steve...

December 4th, 2010 Eric V AZ

It is Sears and they will keep you in the system until you answer. For us it was a survey because they fixed our clothes dryer. They called 20+ times before my wife finally did the computer survey. They next day a person called from the number at 7:00am on a Saturday morning (woke everyone up) and wanted to discuss the answers my wife gave. I proceeded to have an out break of potty mouth and then hung up on her. Sears you ignorant fuck.

Sears sucks and I will never do business with them again after this.

December 2nd, 2010 FatFreddie IL

These guys have called my WORK number two days in a row during the 8:00am hour (when I'm typically not there) and they don't leave messages. Caller ID just lists them as TOLL FREE CALLER (then phone number). Calling me at work is just a little too aggressive a tactic if you ask me- because I am VERY busy and definitely do not have time to deal with these bozos. Seriously, do you think they want ME callingTHEM at work offering to sell them high volume printing services? I doubt it.

November 20th, 2010 jaydub CA

Call almost every hour and don't leave messages. Also, Caller ID shows "Toll Free" as the number. Calls as early as 8am and as late as 8pm

November 14th, 2010 C. Daulton VA

I have been receiving about three calls a day from this number for that past month or more. I finally called the number, and discovered it was from Sears Protection Services. I have had my name taken off the call list. It has been very annoying, having to drop whatever I was doing to answer the telephone. I did not pick up, as I did not know who was calling. I was told that it would take up to 30 days before the calls cease entirely, as it is an automated system. Why that should cause a delay I do not know. It is a sure fire way to LOSE customers!

November 4th, 2010 Lucille N TX

I called the number back, listened to a recorded message and picked option:#5. A real person answered and I asked to be put on Sears "Do Not Call List". The Rep told me it would take 90 days for my telephone number to be removed from Sears calling list. They are also calling from:800-927-2291, different number same company: Sears Protection Agreement.

November 3rd, 2010 Alex CT

They called and I politely told them I was registered with the Do Not Call registry and asked to be removed - the telemarketer remained silent (I could hear background chatter from others) at which point I told her if she was just going to sit there I would file a complaint.

I called back their number once more and explained the situation to another one of their telemarketers who INTERRUPTED me to explain that they MUST have business with us. I told him that I would ask him once more to remove my number before filing a complaint and he interrupted me again... I promptly told him to eat a dick and filed my complaint...

I know the DNC does not resolve individual complaints but hopefully something is done about these guys... looks like I'm not the only one.

October 4th, 2010 Donna FL

I have been receiving calls repeatedly from this number, they never ever leave a message. It shows as "toll free number" on my caller ID. I called the number back to see if I could get placed on their "do not call" list, but, I was not given that option (unless I pressed "5" for all other business). The answering machine on the other end answered "Sear's Protection Agreement".

September 27th, 2010 Dee MI

We receive several calls a day from this number, including on Sundays and as late as 9 p.m. Very annoying!

September 24th, 2010 Anne G. VT

Not only am I on the do not call list (which doesn't apply in this case because if you buy a product from Sears, you've "done business with them" and they can call. But a month ago, I spoke to a supervisor who swore she'd take me off their calling list. All's been quite for a full month. Now the calls have started back up. Six a day starting at 8am and ending at 9pm. I suggest if you MUST purchase a product from Sears and have to have delivery - purchase a disposable cell phone first then have the number changed as soon as the item has been delivered, otherwise their warranty department will NEVER leave you alone.

September 15th, 2010 Irritated FL

I got calls last night from 800-927-2291 from about 8:00pm to 8:20pm. They called me SIX times in that short period of time. The first time, I let it ring, as I know if it's a toll free number calling me, it's a solicitor and I don't want to be bothered. I did not answer the first time, then 2 minutes later they called again. This time I just answered and immediately hung up to stop the ringing (as they let it ring 15 times or so), they called back after that about 4-5 minutes later, then another couple of times. VERY ANNOYING!

So, this morning first thing, I get a call from 800-827-6655, I did not answer it. I came online and found that BOTH of those toll free numbers are from Sears Protection Agreements. I called the 800-827-6655 and told them to remove me immediately from their calling list. The girl asks for my phone number saying she could put me on No Soliciting. Then after I give her my phone number, she states that she also will need my name and address. I said I did not know for sure that this is even really Sears and I am not giving anything other than the number they keep harassing me at. She said she could not do anything without my name and address.

So, I went to and got their customer service number and was told to call the Protections Agreement people directly at 800-927-7836. So, I called them and told them to remove my phone number immediately. I also told them that I had received in the mail a Protections Agreement offer for a power washer I purchased back in 2005! Five years ago, I purchased this and they are calling me and harassing me like there is some kind of an emergency!

So, the man or lady that answered the phone (could not tell by the voice and name) is Jermayn. She said she would remove me and apologized. I told her that from a company like Sears, this is VERY unprofessional to call someone so many times in a 20 minute period then to start it right back up the next morning. I also told her that this is a common practice as there are many complaints online at many different websites about this issue.

Hope this information helps someone else.

September 8th, 2010 Karen

Called every 40 minutes for several days until we finally got ticked and picked up. I've asked them repeatedly to remove us from their list. They say they will and then don't. They have other numbers, as well.

August 19th, 2010 Marie MI

I received a call on an unlisted number I use for my office line. "Toll Free" and the number were listed on the caller ID. I didn't say anything, and the line remained silent until it timed out and disconnected. If it is Sears, I should not be getting calls from them on that unlisted number!

August 7th, 2010 Just A. Guy MO

Not sure who it is but I have fun fucking with them...find a soundboard on the web....then when they call put the phone up to the speakers and let "Joe Pesci" answer the phone. One of the rants from him and they tend not to call back.

August 4th, 2010 Mike WA

Our dryer warranty is up

July 25th, 2010 Joan

This number KEEPS calling every day for my husband who is dead as well as for me. It is from Sears.

July 24th, 2010 Lisa CO

Called at 8:00am on a Saturday! Have received 5-6 calls. They never leave a message. Have bought several small appliances from them. I am happy with the purchases, but not about these phone calls.

July 21st, 2010 Joan NY

This is the 2nd call today. They don't leave a message. It could be Sears as I recently purchased 3 AC from them. They usually call at dinner time

July 21st, 2010 kd AL

It is Sears who have called 6 times a day for the past 3 weeks ...I finally had enough and answered the phone and asked them to take me off the phone list. They are HARRASSING people who didn't buy an extended warranty at the time of purchase on household items and demanding to know WHY we didn't take out an extended warranty. They call from 9am -9pm every day of the week, Sundays included. They said it would take 30 days to remove my phone number from their phone list

July 15th, 2010 Jody NY

Claimed to be Sears, asking about built-in microwave ovens. I neither have one nor do I want one.

June 26th, 2010 Bob IL

They not only call to renew extended warranties, but also to try to get you to buy them. Recently purchased appliances at Sears, and didn't buy the warranties. So now they call. If I could get someone to answer me when I actually pick up the phone, I'd tell them to take me off the list. No-call list does no good whatsoever. If you buy something from them, you're fair game.

June 19th, 2010 Tony ID

Sears Protection Agreement

June 2nd, 2010 Sonny FL

This was a "Sears Service Warranty" call attempting to renew an Extended Warranty. Totally harmless.

May 27th, 2010 Jedi AL

Sears selling warranty for garage door opener. It was a good deal. Verified caller by asking what repair parts were used on the repair.

May 26th, 2010 jc ME

After reading all these posts, I called the number, pressed 5, and asked to be removed from their call lists. They said they would do so and that I would stop receiving calls within 72 hours. I'll keep my fingers crossed (but won't hold my breath)!

May 22nd, 2010 GTE123 TX

Yep, good ole Sears warranty. My warranty on several items runs out in 2 weeks. They love to call on weekends.

May 20th, 2010 Joe

Every day for the past 2 weeks, sometime twice a day they called. I answered one time and she asked if I wanted to extend my warranty on my refrigerator. I asked which one. She told me. I told her to let me check with wife and get back to her. She wanted to wait while I asked. I told her NO that I would call back. Week later received same call and I asked again which appliance she told me a Kenmore refrigerator that was bought in 2005 and do I still have the appliance and I said no!

May 18th, 2010 Danielle PA

Has called a couple of times today. No messages left on voicemail.

May 16th, 2010 Richard PA

I recently had repair work done by Sears at my home, and since then they have been calling every day. Sometimes they leave a message, sometimes (like today) not. Botheration.

April 9th, 2010 new yorker

Might very well be from Sears even though my caller id said "unavailable". I just had some Sears repair work done last week.
Calls from this number come and go in waves. I am a sears customer so I guess they have the right to call me.

March 31st, 2010 RBT LA

They called today. I called back and told them to not call again. They said they will stop but it might take a few days for the system to update. We'll see. Any more calls gets them reported to the FTC.

March 31st, 2010 Sharon HI

Get numerous calls from this number from morning to evening daily. Who is calling? I am on the do not call list and my number isn't listed.

March 30th, 2010 bailey CA

yep. it's sears calling about renewing my appliance warranties. i answered one of the numerous calls and took their message of why they were calling. they still continue to call repeatedly throughout the day for over a week now. i recently bought a panasonic home phone with caller id block. guess whose number has been blocked now!

March 21st, 2010 carol

Every day, morning to evening = they keep on calling. U will never buy anything again from sears. NEVER!

March 17th, 2010 Matt CA

Cool site! These messages were very helpful. I have yet to intercept the call, as I just bought a 3 yr extended agreement. Wonder what they want... will report back

March 13th, 2010 Rocky TX

Sears again using more than one nuber to try and get you to buy product extended service aggreements. BS

March 13th, 2010 Dave CA

Got 2nd call in two days, came here to read other complaints, then proceeded to file complaint with the FCC at or just do a google for "fcc report call"

March 9th, 2010 Dan

I have requested my name be removed from their call list without success. They call multiple times per day. They just called again and I told the person who answered after the auto dialer connected us and I told her of my request.... the (Blank) hung up on me. The most unprofessional mess I've have ever unfortunately been involved with. Not only ensures I will never take out another Sears protections plan, I'm done with Sears!

March 6th, 2010 Steve MO

I too receive many calls from this number and have ignored them. They never leave a message; they can't sell to a recording.
I finally called the number back and hit #4 to edit my address. I got a spokesperson and explained the repeated calls and at all hours. I also told her that I didn't own the product anymore. I had her put my name on the "Do Not Call List". She said she did but she still went on to tell me about the cost of renewing my contract. Whew! These people are desparate. Good luck to others.

February 27th, 2010 Nancy LA

I never pick these calls up either. Identify yourself or forget it. I finally plugged in the number and here was the info. What was the big deal? I'm a customer of Sears and contrary to other comments have been quite satisfied. I checked my files and have appliances with extended warranties needing to be renewed. As a widow on SS and a small pension I don't have a "man around the house" to fix things. I have found Sears to do excellent work and an extended warranty entitles you to an annual service call to make sure all is well. Plus they even cover appliances not purchased from them, so for me it's worth it since that includes my central air and heat. What annoys me is how silly it is to leave their name off, which I intend to tell them when I call them.

February 17th, 2010 Caryl

I have a do not call sign up
I also made a complaint to customer service and was told it would take about a week to stop this

February 6th, 2010 Jon Ander OH

It has been well over two years since purchasing anything from Sears. In other words, the call from Sears is a clear violation of the Do-Not-Call Implementation Act of 2003.

Today, I received two calls from Sears. I even called the number back and confirmed that 800-827-6655 is from Sears!

When they called back a second time, Mr. Mike Burger, one of the managers responsible for making these illegal calls, actually became argumentative when I demanded that the calls stop and that my number be removed from their call list. His rude, unprofessional behavior is typical of managers at the Sears Service Center!

February 3rd, 2010 CH HI

I get calls from this number about 3-4 times during the day, every day. Caller-Id Says 800 Service. Irritating.

January 13th, 2010 TC NC

You also know its a scam job whenever they hide their Caller-ID name. There is only one reason anyone would do that, and its because they know people don't want to talk to them.

January 13th, 2010 TC NC

The Caller-ID displayed no name, but apparently from other posts here its Sears. They have called us in the past trying to push their stupid worthless warranties. Everything they sell is overpriced as it is.

January 10th, 2010 Alice PA

These people called at 8:13 am on a SATURDAY!!! Never, ever will I buy another appliance from SEARS! Oven door actually fell off! And they have the NERVE call on a SATURDAY morning and ask to extend the service plan on their crappy appliances... NO WAY!

January 9th, 2010 Mike IL

Sears extended coverage offer.

January 9th, 2010 POed Customer VA

I have Sears appliances W/ extended warranties also. I NEVER pick up on a toll-free call!! If the freakin' caller doesn't ever identify themselves on my V/M, I don't c/b!! So, I guess they will continue to call until hell freezes over!! But, I'm NOT GOING TO PICK UP THE PHONE!!

December 31st, 2009 Dale G

This number calls from early morning until well up in the evening. They never leave a message nor do they 'get' that I do not want to talk to them. They have been doing this for weeks!

Sears: If you are listening - I will NEVER spend one red cent at SEARS again because of this harassment!!

December 19th, 2009 Damon CA

I am so friggin tired of these Sears calls! They call my home about 5 times a day. I just got a call from them a cursed the operator up one side and down the other. I cursed out the lady until she was forced to hang up on me. It doesn't help that I am in bed sick with the flu and the phone keeps ringing because of sears. Seriously, they have called me 3 times in the last 20 minutes.

December 12th, 2009 Pissed in Idaho NY

These assholes call twice a day. Gonna do what senior Dad did, except the service is closed to new members right now.

December 9th, 2009 Senor Dad CA

Bought several appliances from Sears. Constant, repeat calls from this number. Solution? Simple, 1. Google Voice. 2. Receive call. 3. Go to inbox, click the "more" tab. 4. Select "Block Caller" 5. Experience joy knowing that they will hear a recording telling them the number is "No Longer in Service."

December 8th, 2009 S James

Calls start early in the morning and will continue till late at night! Repeated calls made through out the day and will never leave a msg. This goes on 7 days a week! This has been going on for several weeks now!

December 8th, 2009 S. James

Constant pest!! This caller calls repeatedly every day and will start early in the morning and continue till late at night. This has been going on for several weeks and will never leave a msg either.

November 28th, 2009 Luv Da Callers TX

They called several times during the day, but never left a message. Poor callers. Keep trying! : )

November 14th, 2009 Baba TX

To Marie, yes Sears IS that desperate. If you ever bought anything at Sears or have a Sears card they will call and call and call and call and call and you can't stop them. They are desperate to push high profit warranties and the sales person is on a quota. Something I learned from my grandfather, the harder they try, the worse the deal. Warranties are extremely high profit items. Why do you think everywhere you buy something they try and scare you into buying an extended warranty. Because it is nearly 98% pure profit. If it was that necessary to have they would factor it into the cost of the item and it would be a standard feature. When you buy one in the store the sales person gets a cut, the store manager gets a cut and Sears gets the rest.
Sears wanted me to buy a 1 year warranty on my dishwasher that was about 1/3 the cost of a new one. Insanely high profits on an unneeded item.

November 5th, 2009 SJC VA

They call several times. I pick up the phone and then hang up. Told them to stop calling some time ago, but they FAILED to listen.

November 3rd, 2009 Kristie OR

They call like 5 times a day, i pick up the phone and hang it up.. I even told them, i wasnt interested, and they still call. Its Sears Warranty Dept. Very pesty people.

August 1st, 2008 JW CA

Sears warranty sales and extension. Legitimate call, but they are so annoying by not leaving any messages after calling 5x a day.
