People, get a is a survery company COMCAST uses, yes I agree COMCAST is a pain in the ASS, and this company could certainly be more professional, but I'm sure COMCAST got what it paid for. They call me all the time too, all misunderstand the National Do Not Call Registery. If you have a business relationship with a company ....meaning you are a COMCAST customer....they CAN call you or have a survery company call you for them LEGALLY. That's why you need to read and ACT on your annual privacy statement that gets mailed to you and ALSO go to the COMCAST website and OPT OUT of ALL Marketing. It's also why telling the people who incessantly call us to take our numbers off the list and then tell them what the number is. Because until you opt out EACH time you do business with ANY company once you have a relationship with them they can LEGALLY call you. It's a pain in the ass and it sucks but the registry is designed to prevent even further intrusion from companies who DON'T have a relationship with us.

It's a company called "ServiCom" and they were calling to follow up on a recent customer support call I made to Comcast. I think they wanted to survey me about their service. But yes, it was definitely about Comcast.

This # has been calling me for several days now. They tend to sit there for a minute, then hang up....with the answering machine. I haven't gotten it, as I don't answer any unknown, unavailable, etc. calls. ANNOYING!

They called me today and didn't leave a message. I called them back and they said something like "if you have a missed call, this is Servicom calling on behalf of Comcast to do a survey." I told them that I do not do surveys. They asked me for my phone number so that they can place it on their "do not call list". This number was already on the national "do not call list". I do have Comcast services too.

They have called several times in the past two weeks. I do understand that the business relationship exempts them from DNC requirements, but I'm surprised that the caller I.D. say "unavailable" and they never leave a message. That part is annoying to me, because I associate those things with unwanted and illegal callers.

I have gotten so disgusted with Comcast, I have all 3 services and they actually shut off my TV because I didn't have 32 cents in my pocket when I paid my bill. So....since I have free call forwarding any number I don't want to talk to I forward to Comcast customer service #. I love this little ploy. Funny what small things in life bring us joy!

got a couple of calls a couple of weeks ago (can't remember if it was the same number) and finally called back. it was comcast survey. told the woman i wasn't interested in the survey and that they are calling my cell phone so to take me off the list.

got a call from this 1-800 number today and called comcast customer service directly instead of calling number back. told woman past issue and asked her again to put me on do not call list. said she would do it.. we'll see.

The phone rang a few times, I raced to answer it thinking it was news on our dear friend in the hospital and not doing well, only to hear a 'click' when I got there. So I took the time to look at ID Caller and saw that it ws 800-813-6128 and remembered that they have called and hung up before, so thought I'd do some digging. I wish computer dialing was illegal, nothing like making your heart race thinking it is the hospital when they call at unusual hours.

I called the number after seeing it on my cell phone a few times. It picked up with a "Hello this is Barbara with Servicom." But as soon as I responded the line went dead. Incidentally I just started Comcast service at my house.

It was Comcast Survey line. I called them back after they didn't leave a message. They answered directly, and I requested that they remove our number from the 'call back/followup' list (we had service done last week). They said they would remove our number. Comcast woman was very pleasant.

Thanks for warning me about the dead time, they called me on the cell phone I use as my primary line.

I managed to avoid the CD install by escalating both my tech support calls early ("BSD UNIX". "Let me transfer you...") but I still ran my cell phone dry on the first call....

I've been having a lot problems w/my interent connection. Called them multiple times about it. Of course they wanted to blame our equipment!

called today. ID self as Todd McIntyre w/ Servicon. He said he is not affiliated WITH Comcast but was hired to survey its customer satisfaction. I asked him if Servico had a Web site and he said it did not. I looked it up as we talked and it has some Nigeria affiliation, which I told him, and he assured me it was not. I did the survey. It took at least 15 minutes. He was very nice and professional. He said some people have favorable things to say about Comcast. I told him that Comcast does appear to be improving in some respects. When he asked me how I would recommend they improve, I suggested Comcast put in place a system whereby 3 complaints in one month got free service for one month. He said he would pass that along as part of his survey report.

answered the call, nobody on the other end... interesting that I pay for a service that states no solicitors are accepted and to press a number if they aren't one... educated guess and nothing more, either they have it set to still go through regardless and then drop hoping that we'll call them back so it's "legitimate" since it's now us calling them... a loophole... or at least something to this effect (like I said, just a guess on my part... nothing more)
