This spam message has been posted all over the place at 800notes.com as well. I guess that's the risk of having a communications complaint web site. These telemarketers are going to try to crash your listings. Best advice: If it looks and reads like an advertisement, more likely than not it is an advertisement. Don't answer the call. File the identifying information with the FCC/DNC.

Most important: Spend the money (it isn't much) on Caller ID. If you see a phone number or name you don't recognize, don't answer!

No, ''Beewu'', this time you are blindly spamming this thread for the 24th time, yet again blabbing about videos which this site has never hosted.

The last known comments to actually be on topic were in Spring 2010. The other 80% of this thread since then has been wall-to-wall stupid spam, apart from a few remarks from irritated readers.

NCO student loan collection ... These guys collect on student loans
These guys are annoying some lady name "Candice Wright" keep calling me every single day. They have the nerve to call my boss and start saying "I HAVE A TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION FOR YOUR EMPLOYEE" . I tell them to stop calling me and my work but they still call every day. They are going to get me fired. Anyways After 2 weeks of candice's phone assault I decided to call her back.... She started demanding that i pay 400 dollars a month on some old AZZ student loan. I WORK MINIMUM WAGE... I have no car, and no savings.... I live pay check to pay check... I told her this but she is a well trained DOG.... she just keeps at it... I found some information on some website made by a former collector and he talks about everything... Alll the nAsty tactics these collection agencies employ..... READ ABOUT YOUR OPTIONS... it turned out my payments were as low as 100 dollars a month.... THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY.... PEOPLE YOU NEED TO BE INFORMED.... My blessings go out to you... Honest, hard working americans that are struggling....

Call from NCO Financial. I answered and listened to whole mesage. As others say, it is a robot dialer with a female voice giving a government warning and then callback and account number.

This is just a fishing trip by NCO Financial. They have purchased so many "Zombie Debt" accounts that this robo-telemarketing effort is profitable. It does not matter whether you, or I, or the next recipient has or has not any bad debt. Once you call back NCO Financial and give personal details, it will then be matched to a "Zombie Debt." Just let NCO Financial call and call and call. If you answer and start bickering with them, you will then be matched with a debt that can be brought forward to current status (the Zombie Debt comes to life) and it will appear on your credit report and there is nthing you can do to stop any of it.

Remain silent. Hang up. Acknowledge cretins exist in the world and move along with your day. Don't return calls to NCO Financial. Don't write them, don't acknowledge them.

NCO Financial is a collection agency of the lowest form. They stopped calling after we got back on the do not call list. However, they're at it again from this number and other numbers including 888-432-2668 and 888-550-3791. It's always a male or female robo call asking you to call back with an account number they give you. We have no past due debt.

NCO Financial female robo voice called at 11:59am (about noon). They call themselves a debt collection agency. We have no past due debt. They also call from 888-432-2668 and 800-685-4343. We are on the federal do not call list.

Female robo voice identified itself as NCO Financial, A Debt collection Agency and asked for a callback to an 888 number giving an account code. These people have been calling from 800-685-4343 for several months now anywhere from three times a week to once every two weeks. Call times range from 2:00 to 8:00 pm all days of the week. We have no past due debt. The call from the number 888-432-2668 occured after we put our number back on the federal do not call registry.

NCO is a horrible company. they will NEVER stop calling. EVER. They are one of those collection companies that will call you and try to collect debt that isn't even on your credit report anymore. And if they are calling your house and have the wrong number, they don't believe you and will keep calling. trust me on this one, i'm going through it now. its a pain in the ass. These people have been sued many times by the people that they call and try to take advantage of. don't give these people a cent. just don't answer the phone when they call. i know its a pain in the butt to listen to your phone ring all the time from them constantly calling, but its better than answering the phone and having to deal with their crap. from what i've read, if you acutally talk to them, they call you even more for some reason.

i don't know how many times they call. i don't have a caller id and i don't answer the phone unless i expect a call. when i did answer it once there was a recording with a heavy british accent about how important this call was for me, it's about a debt, and a request to call back with the ref #. i don't have any debts and called back out of curiosity. a female answered and when i said heelo she responded with a weird message "oh this is my sister... hold on.." i heard her transferring me but i hung up before i went through. i do have weird threatening calls after i set up this new landline (whoever had it before or a few of them mush have got into a lot of trouble). it's not a published number and i never answer unless i know who's calling. these females who are playing some collection agency are either insane or they are criminals.

This phone number is for a "bottom feeder" debt collection agency, trying to collect on old debts that are past the statute of limitations for collection. They will use whatever means possible to obtain your information. If you do pay them, it is possible the payment will show up on your credit report as a paid overdue account, and will be there for seven years. Also, these "bottom feeders" continually change their 800 phone numbers. Remember, if you call them on an 800 number, they will have the number you are calling from.

Other 800 numbers from these bottom feeders (google them for more information):800-860-0644; 877-803-0008; 800-772-1413; 800-654-8818; 757-519-9300; 215-441-3000; 215-441-3000 / 800-220-2274 / 800-709-8613; 800-685-4343 / 800-229-7670 / 888-550-4514; 888-249-4134 / 866-352-0237 / 312-360-3000; 888-656-7870; 800-754-0837; 800-651-4577; 516-714-1300; 877-982-0001; 860-242-7585 or 877-588-3630.

NCO Financial calls the house at least 3 times a day. They are trying to collect a debt I owed to Montgomery Ward. The debt was charged off over 15 years ago. These folks are debt buyers, the lowest form of debt collectors, they buy debt for pennies on the dollar and then spend their resources in an effort to collect money. When they collect, the money is pure profit to their company. They never send any additional money back to the original creditor. There is no statue of limitations on this type of debt recovery, they can call you the rest of your life. I just ignore them and let is go to voicemail. In response to the other comment about student loans, they may be one of the collectors, but I would check it out carefully. If the student loan is with these folks, then it has been charged off and bought for pennies on the dollar.

YEA YOU GUYS ARE DUMB, NCO I A COLLECTION COMPANY, NOT A CREDIT CARD COLLECTION AGENCY, ITS A COLLECTION AGENCY THAT TRIES TO COLLECT DEFAULTED STUDENT LOANS, YOUR MESSING WITH THE GOVERNMENT WHEN YOU REFUSE TO PAY YOUR STUDENT LOANS SO IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO MAKE A PAYMENT PLAN, IF YOU DECLINE, YOU CAN GO TO GARNISHMENT... WHAT IS GARNISHMENT??? YEAH THAT MEANS NCO CAN TAKE YOUR INCOME TAX CHECKS AND 15 PERCENT OF YOUR WAGES UNTIL THE DEBT IS PAYED IN FULL!!!!!! PRETTY MUCH, DON'T ACCEPT A STUDENT LOAN IF YOU CAN'T PAY IT BACK! CREDIT CARDS ARE DIFFERENT, IF YOU CAN'T PAY YOUR CREDIT CARDS, O WELL, ATLEAST YOUR NOT SCREWING WITH THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!

Fuck these scum sucking fuckers. They've been calling my home every single day, including Sundays, minimum 5 times since I moved into my new place over a year ago. Looking for "Mr. Ruiz". There is no Mr. Ruiz here and they didn't believe me. Then they said they believed me and the calls would stop. That was 9 months ago and they still call. I have so many 800, 866 and 877 numbers blocked on my phone but they still manage to sneak through somehow. So I had to go through the inconvenience of getting a new phone number. But I guess it's worth it to get these jit-bags outta my hair!

They left a voice message telling me they were NCO trying to collect a debt and gave a callback number (800-685-4343) and a reference number, 135222. I did a star67 (hopefully blocks MY caller ID) and called the number back. When a representative came to the phone I asked who they were trying to reach with that reference number. An unpronouncable name. It wasn't me and I asked please not to call me again as I knew they had a wrong contact number. The representative was pleasant (marginally) and promised to take my phone number off their list. We'll see. If they call again I will make waves!

I asked them for documentation and they refuse to provide it or answer specific questions about the debt. My fiance is an attorrny and she told me unless they can provide documentation they are out of luck. She also thinks they are shady because they refuse to provide anything and just keep asking for the money.

NCO is the worst. I paid off a debt a year before NCO started calling. I explained the debt had been paid off and I had all the documentation to prove it. They told me I was lying and that my credit report showed differently (which was a lie on their part since I had just received copies of my credit report from all three bureaus and nothing was showing on them). They requested I fax the documentation to them, which I did that same day. They claimed they never recieved it, so I faxed it 5 more times and sent it hard copy with return receipt and signature confirmation requested. The harrassment still continued via phone and they never provided written documentation of the debt that I requested everytime they called. It took the original creditor threatening NCO with a lawsuit to get them to stop!! Never agree to anything on the phone and if you truly owe a debt, contact the original creditor to work out a payment plan, they will work with you!!

Called, again, and again, and again, and again. And again. I am going to get rid of all telephone communication devices. I am sick of being a target for unregulated predators with the apparent blessing of overpaid, overfunded, undermotivated government employees/agencies. If we stopped subscribing to these "conveniences", it would cease to be a convenience for illegal, harrassing companies to hound us, as well.

They called my home and left a message (2nd time -Sat 7-21-07) on my voice mail. Gave me an acct #.
I have not had debt in over 10 years but did previously.
Bought a home 2 years ago and now they're calling again. 1st time they left a message & I blocked the 800-685-4343. Then, 3 days later got the same call from an OUT OF AREA with NO NUMBER...but same message.
Call them (blah,blah today!)
I am in Michigan. Anybody know the best way to handle this and/or just forget about it and avoid the calls, which can be hard to do w/ more than 1 person answering or looking at Caller ID in the family ?
Isn't there a statue of 6 years and 10 years to come off your credit reports ? Can they still legally collect owed monies and I know the store went out of business about 8 years ago, anyway.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Sick of these a$$holes !!!

These folks (among others) have crossed referenced my address with the previous owner. We move in 2 years ago. About 90 days later they started calling asking for the previous owner and the wife's mother. I keep explaining to them that these people have moved. Check the name on the title of the home. They have accused me of "hiding" these people, of lying to them etc. They will not identify themselves. I understand that skip tracing is tough, but maybe if they would listen, they could better use their resources to find the Morris's rather then making me angry.

they collect old debts. In most states the statue of limitation is 3 years. Tell them you know the law and if they call again,it is harrassment or just ignore them. Debts should also fall off your credit file in 7 years from the date of last activity,so never make a payment on a collection unless it clouds title to buy a home. Paying the old debt will only hurt your credit and lower your score.
