They called me from several 513 numbers. The last person left a message saying that her name was Shelby Bryan and all the calls have asked for a person named Gina Gaft. When I call to have my phone number removed they tell me that there is no record of it. THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM! Don’t give them a single bit of information, but do complain to the FTC!

Got the answer. I chatted with a Macys rep online and they gave me instructions on how to stop these calls. Call the Macy's collections department directly at 800-545-1256 to request that your phone number is removed from the dialer. Unless of course you owe them money, then pay your bill :-)

This person has been calling me for 3 days now incessantly. I finally answered the phone yesterday after the evening before, I had received a "mistake" voicemail from this person that had a TV and unidentifiable conversations taking place in the background. This is the only voicemail that was ever received. I just answered the phone with "hello" instead of my name, since I was already suspicious. The indian woman demanded she speak with me (kept saying my name), and I just kept asking "what is this regarding?," "what is this in reference to?," etc. She kept saying "personal business matter." I finally told her I was this person and what did she want. She kept saying she was calling "on behalf of Macy's" and all of the other crap that is in line with all of the comments below. I have enough experience in the business world, when you are calling "on behalf of" someone or something, you are not that person. So I kept demanding where she was calling from and who she was. She said her name is Megan Carter (I'm sorry, this is way too much of an American name for this woman - LIES) and her company was FCL Technologies. I couldn't understand this woman at all and was demanding her to spell her name and organization about 12 times. She said I had missed a Macy's payment and could pay the minimum payment over the phone now. ABSOLUTELY NOT. HEED THIS WARNING. I told her I would call Macy's myself or go into the store. She asked to verify my address and I said no I would not do this. I already felt vulnerable verifying my identity/name to her over the phone. I asked for a phone number to call back, and she gave me the number 1-800-545-1256. I will not call this number, but just plugged it into google just like i did this one and came up with the same comments from others. After talking to this woman for about 20 minutes I was severely agitated and told her to NOT call this number any more, and I would be in touch with Macy's myself. I kept asking her to verify that she would not call this number again, and she hung up on me. Regardless of if this call is a legitimate call associated with Macy's or not, they did not call during business hours, do not leave a message, are harassing when you finally talk to them, are unprofessional and you are unable to understand them, and ask for personal information. BEWARE of this. You can also note I will be in touch with Macy's myself.

I started receiving calls from (513) 754-9822 about 6 months ago. At first they were a few times a month but gradually increased to 7 to 8 times a day. There were also 3 to 4 calls on Saturdays and Sundays.

The (513) 754-9822 calls are from Macys & Bloomfields. There are a number of websites this number has been reported to. Please contact you State General Attorney's Office and the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. The more people that do this the more of a paper trail there is to convict these people of harrassment.

Also, the call back number they leave once every few hundred calls is 1 800-545-1256. Call this number and when the phone is answered an automated voice tells you to key in your account number, just ignore it and eventually you will get a live person. This when you blow a loud whistle into the mouthpiece of your phone.

This is not Macy's.... It's a scam. Regardless if you have a Macy's or Bloomingdales card or are past due - this is a scam. DO NOT PAY OVER THE PHONE.... if you really are past due then call the real Macy's, or pay on line.

Very much like the other messages. Claim's it urgent. Calls multiple time a day. Caller is from India. Same caller each time but with a different name. Personal matter. This is constant, going on now for a couple of weeks. Last week when he called he said he was from macy's. This week its a personal matter.

Mr. parker can be reached at 1-800-545-1256 if anyone would like to give him a call back.

They called claiming to be MCCS Credit Services calling for Macy's. They asked for my girlfriend of about two years ago and gave me a call-back number of 1-800-545-1256. Sounds like a scam to me. The accent of the lady on the other end sounded like she was from India.

Ok I have a new twist for everyone on this number. They have been leaving messages on our machine, now comes the good part. The message they are leaving is for a person that lives 4 houses down the street from us that we do not even know. I have not been home to get these calls, and have tried calling back the 800 number they leave, but they will not talk to me because it is not my account. I have asked them not to call my number yet it continues. Any suggestions on how I can get this to stop. How can they get away with harassing someone that is not even a customer of theirs? They also show up on the ID under 513-573-8739 & 800-545-1256, that I know of right now

The company HCL Tech. in India does indeed work for Macy's - that is not to say they have their act together. I had a Macy's account a number of years ago - it was closed in good standing. Every morning I have gotten a phone call from HCL Tech (in India) from 513-573-8028. I have repeatedly spoken to them to take me off of their list using that number and 800-884-9168 and 800-545-1256. It was no use and no useful information was obtained. Finally I called Macy's Credit Customer Service 1-866-593-2543 - after negotiating their VM queue using 000-00-0000 as my SSN I was given to a CS rep... guess where, India. Who informed me that my account was closed and in good standing when it was and told me that I should not be receiving any calls - they transfered me to another collection dept. that verified that I have no outstanding Macy's or Bloomingdales accounts and that I will no longer receive call. Let's wait and find out.

We are on DO NOT CALL list; the 513 number was on our Caller ID. "Miss Lars" asked to my husband re: "important personal matter" 9:20 a.m. 4/10/08 and asked us to call 800-545-1256. I believe it is their second attempt.

called asking for someone else...I told them it was a wrong number, and even looked up the number of the person they were asking for (small town with unusual name of person) and they wouldn't take it. I've called back 5 times to say "YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER" and they apologize and say my name will be deleted from the database. The next day, another phone message left. I finally called the person they were asking and left a message on her phone giving the 800 number & asking her to PLEASE call them back so they stop calling ME!

Asking to call 1-800-545-1256 about and important business matter. I am not the person they are looking for and have no important business matter to discuss with strangers using my cell minutes! I keep having to delete messages and reset voice message notices just for these idiots! My carrier will not block the incoming phone number!!!

Mr. Brandon Seeval called and left a message to call 1-800-545-1256. Looked number up on 800notes.com and read lots of comments about possible scam or late payment on Macy's credit card. I'll just pay what's due online and hopefully that will stop further calls, scam or legit!
