I do not appreciate early morning calls that wake me up. If they continue I will stop donating to them.
They call 3 -4 Times a day.
These people are relentless. They call morning, noon & night, even on Sundays. Is there anything that can be done??? I am on the "do not call" register (big deal that is).
Never leaves a message just hangs up.....
this aint no real charity. don't know body believe that one. I think they should be callin that guy frank the first coment at the bottom here and leave me out of it.
They called yesterday and it was UNOWN NAME. The day before the same number was from TOLL FREE CALLER. Totally honest..... right?
From what I read on other sites it should be Vietnam Scammers of America.
They called at 8:30 P. M. and didn't leave a message. If it's such a good charity why not leave a message. Sounds more like a scam.
I be blockin these guys from now on.
Viet vets? Don't know. Caller ID says Unavailable. Hangs up on 4th ring. No message left.
Why are charities and politicians exempt from no call lists? If we believe in a charity and want to support it we'll find them. Otherwise, leave us alone!
this a very bad bunch. don't knowbody know what they really do with the stuff you give them. my friend say they take the good stuff to there house before going back to the storage place. there are much better way to give to the veterans than these ones.
These idiots call almost every Sunday!! The nerve! I don't answer the phone & they don't leave a msg on the answering machine.
Won't listen to you when you answer. Call multiple times a day. Done, won't ever donate to them again, swingbags.
I answered. No one was ever on the line. Just a few clicks and dead air.
Call ostensibly from the Vietnam Veterans of America, requesting you leave bundles of used, unwanted stuff on your front doorstep for pickup.
But why would an organization in Wisconsin be calling for pickup of items in Maryland, or actually think I would have stuff for them, when I already have fifty other local organizations that want stuff from me?
Whoever this is, they called about a week ago. They bothered me again this morning. And a short time later, I received a call from 800-459-8387
. Guess if no one answers the first time, they switch numbers and call again. Can't anything be done to stop these phoney "charities"?
They called once today and once yesterday. I never answer because it's a toll free number. Wish they'd give up.
Here is an idea...have the caller ID name say Vietnam Veterans, then maybe, just maybe you won't tick people off so much
We've been getting calls from this number day and night for the past two weeks, 6 or so in the last 4 days. They always leave blank messages on our machine. Today I answered and it was a woman who said her name was "rose" and said she was calling on behalf of "vietnam veterans". When I tried to interrupt her speech to tell her to stop calling and she hung up on me. What a jerk.
Leaves a message while I was out that consists of only heavy breathing (souded almost painfully labored), with the sound of people talking in the background. Bizarre.
IT HAS STARTED AGAIN... WHEN HE ANSWERING MACHINE PICKS UP THEY JUST HANG UP. HOW RUDE!!!!VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA. From other comments I read that this is very much a scam and most of the money goes to the company of telemarketers. Veterans get very small %age......

my vet status negates all other vet status
This TOLL FREE caller NEVER EVER leaves messages--that's RUDE!

Yes, they called me today and didn't leave a message except the guy was muttering something about my phone number. They don't get my money, sympathetic though I may be to vets. Too many of these organizations are scams, and if they can't be bothered mailing me their bona fides, oh well!
Have contributed to them before, so I don't mind the calls as long as they are helping Veterans. Vietnam Veterans got a raw deal. Exempt from DoNotCall rules.
