SO, guess what Sachin did?? HE transferred me DIRECTLY to APPLE SUPPORT! Then I got Johnny on the East coast of USA. I explained everything which started with receiving an emain on 9/5/2012 FROM my account right back TO my own account! He said - oh yeah - mam' your new iMac 5 is under 90 AppleCare. So right there and then he stripped my new iMac5 of EVERYTHING downloaded after purchase and put it back to factory settings. He also, ran a scan. After about 1.5 hours it was all clean. Now the problem is my MacBookPro which is no longer under APPLE CARE. So, Johnny said I have to take the MacPro to APPLE or to Geek Squad (because I have a plan with them for the iMac5). He said they will know what to do to clean up, check out and offer to run a scan. Johnny from AppleCare said ONLY let Apple do that because he has seen the Geek Squad scans (which cost something) alter things with Macs - so do not to accept that. But, let them do everything else. SO, now I am taking my MacPro to get it all personal files wiped off, cleared out and reset to factory standards! All this - for having DEALT with the IMPOSTERS, the FRAUDS from 'MSN Customer Support at 800 386 5550!! DON'T go there! They'll LIE to you, SCAM you so sweetly, and you never even know it until some time LATER when your machine is acting hinky and you STILL get SPAM from your own account!
Well, then they so politely and professionally and with such SKILL and patience, explain you have been SERIOUSLY hacked and there is ILLEGAL and CRIMINAL activity and they can CURE it ALL! WHo wouldn't want that kind of RESCUE? Then they IMMEDIATELY, remotely takeover control of your computer = because your situation is so serious - and then they
The REAL MSN guy (Sachin) asked me if they
So i kept looking until I found a number - this AUTHENTIC, MSN tech person named Sachin explained to me that he thinks I had been scammed and that I have PREMIUM support account and if I change the password (which we did) = then he suggested strongly that, although he (Sachin) had now put more locks, alerts and so forth on my accoount and the PROMISED me it was 100% safe and the hacker has been locked out. THis time I knew I was dealing with the REAL MSN support - because he didn't sell me anything, he didn't rush me and offered common-sense advise. He said that (although my risk of compromising personal information was LESS with a Macintosh machine - I should STILL contact Apple. In fact, he explained this: he said, mam' your account was |TODAY (9/7/2012) - (notice this is NOT 9/5/2012) shut down, made inoperable by MSN servers because a large amount of SPAM was being generated from MY MSN email! SO, these guys on 9/5/2012 NEVER EVEN reported my account, they were IMPOSTERS. INstead - they started SPAMMING. WHO knows what else they got? The REAL MSN guy (Sachin) asked me if they
This described event occurred on 9/5/2012 at approx 5PM ET after I discovered my Premium MSN email had been hacked. I found this number on a search 800 386 5550. The entire introduction seems very authentic, professional and appropriate. THen- they rush you to buy their services, they politely draw out your personal information and put you on hold. THey come back after approx 1 min and tell you your account has been compromised and there has already been illegal activity and I they can rescue my email and save my personal information!! They put you on hold come back and tell you - for a five years (minimum package) of comprehensive package of 8-9 services, they will protect me completely, NO WORRIES because they have 'server side' power that can take all my troubles away.
This company represents themselves upfront as very legitimate, "MSN Support service". Call it yourself and see. The caller ID at one point said MSN Support - so it went. THen the next day (on 9/6/2012) my BRAND NEW iMAC5 and MacPro are RUNNING SLOW and MSN email is running funky. Hmmmmm. Then I receive 1 more email like the 1st one - taking to a porn site with a .ru at the end of it. So, since MSN support (the imposter) had told me it would be ALL fixed 100%, I called a place by mistake thinking it was this 800386.5550. This person alerted me to the fact that I had "...probably been scammed and said, "we never offer a 5-yr package. THis is a lie - no one has this. We have products for 1 or 2 years but if they sold you 5 years of protection - you have been scammed" He tried to sell me his tech support program - but I told him "listen - you recommended I should call my credit card company - Sir, I have to do that now!" He agreed. THen I MORE CAREFULLY LOGGED ON to MSN Member Support Center." I was unable to do this because by now, my MSN account had been CLOSED by the REAL MSN Corp - email!
