Auto Warranty Company

They called my cell phone on 11/19/2008. I programed the number as AutoWar111908. I told them not to call my cell phone and to take me off their list.

They or someone else also called my cell phone on 03/06/2008 with the number 562-228-7160. And then on 07/25/2008 from 785-890-8855. Then on 11/14/2008 another call from 605-462-6063.

I haven't received any calls on my cell phone since.

I've recieved many calls on my home number though. I usually tell them I have a car that doesn't exist like a Chevy Mustang. The sad thing is I talked to a guy for over 10 minutes and he didn't even realize I was making up a car that didn't exist. When I sprung it on him that I pulled the wool over his eyes and waisted his time like he waisted mine, he hung up. I suggest that you make up something and waist their time. You'll get a laugh which is good for your health and they can't call 20 people while they are talking to you!

This company keeps calling from different numbers all across the nation. Every time somebody calls I try to get to a real person. When I do get to a real person I have.

1. Asked to be put on the do not call list for the company. They hung up on me.
2. Asked what the name of this warranty company is. They hung up on me.
3. Asked how they got my number. They hung up on me.
4. Called back. Disconnected number every time.

My conclusion is that there is some scam company out there that is using individuals (ever seen an ad for "Earn thousands while sitting at home!") with a proprietary software package, and then they spam call people. They are then instructed to hang up on anybody asking any questions. I wish there was a way to get the actual information for who is leading this so that I could put a stop to it. Literally 20+ different numbers have called me all for the same 'warranty' and every one calls me during the middle of my day at work.

I would kick them all in the soft spot if I could. You just can't block them though because there are simply too many of these numbers calling for the same thing.

I have been receiving these calls from warranty since 2005. RE: Car warranty I have blocked these within the last month: 805.985.4838; 323.581.3046; 323.581.3046; 303.615.9102; 717.432.5696; 304.324.8040; 785.890.8855;720.564.0156; 802.878.3477; 802.763.2141. As soon as I block one number, the next day they call again from a different number. The calls come in the morning, every single day.

I have gotten multiple calls from this number and if you press 1 to talk to someone to tell them to remove you from their list they will tell you "just give me your address and make/model of your vehicle" i refused to give it because I know that my vehicle does not have factory warrenty as it is over 10 years old. If you furthur listen to the call when you receive there is "press 2 to be removed from this list" well i've pressed it and i still get calls

These people have been calling me since December '07. I press 2 to have my number removed and I keep getting called. When I press 1 I get a person who won't tell me the company they work for and hang up on me.

Yep, just got the same call. When i asked for them to give me a website address, they replied that it was going up this month. What company in this day and age does not have a website. When I said I want to read the coverage documentation rather write it down on my note book, he said to hold on. Came back with this bs that this is my last notice. I said great! Now I don't have to worry about you guys calling me anymore. He hung up on me.

Called about car warranty. The same people have called me a number of times from different numbers. Did a little research, do NOT press 2 to "remove your name from the list", it is a phone identity theft scam.

Scam. How do these jerks get my cell phone number? This is the second call I got from 785-890-8855, even though I told them to remove my name/number last time. The guy says the company is "Allied Warranty" and they are based in "south Florida." But, by the his accent, it sounded more like he was calling from downtown Brooklyn. He refused to give me their main phone number even though I asked for it repeatedly. He said I don't need that info. What a bunch of BS.
