Thanks to Chuck's helpful comments, I checked their website:
This is the number I called to tell them to remove me from their call list:
They asked me for the BVTM phone number that was listed on my caller i.d. They said it might take 24 hours to remove my number from their data base. We'll see...
Selling something and they suck.
Called but left no VM. I've gotten a ton of calls from them in the past. I think they are calling to have me renew a subscription to one of the several trade journals I get.
This number calls me daily. Never leaves voise mail and no one on the line when I answer.
Left no message on voicemail.

This number showed up as BVTM, when I answered, they hung up, I hate that.
If they keep calling and not leaving voicemail it does no good. If it was really that important they would leave voice mail
don't know how BVTM is, don't want to know, don't want to talk with them.

I heard a weird sound and then I realized the phone I answered was really my remote control and I'd turned on the tv by accident and then I forgot about the call altogether.
I have had this call 2 days in a row with a busy signal after my voicemail message. It is very annoying and can't imagine how this is permitted as I have an unlisted number.

I think is is a GPS service calling you to extract your location, turn off your cell phone as much as possible with battery removed ! I'm sure is scantioned by your wonderful govt, bought and paid for by your friendly banking lobbyists.
I took the advice of a previous poster and called Blue Valley asking that they remove me. The woman was very polite, wrote down my number and the number displayed on caller id 785-799-3900
) and said that it would be removed. Since she asked me for the number that was displayed, I'm sure they have a whole block of numbers that they can dial from, meaning that I'll probably be removed from just the one.
i just picke dup the phone and hung up cuz it sounded like machine
I have received the following calls: 11.7.2009 @ 9:23 a.m., 11.6.2009 @ 2:25 p.m. & 9:18 a.m., 11.5.2009 @ 3:55 p.m. So four (4) calls in three (3) days. When I answer everytime they start this message, "My name is ______ and I am calling on behalf of the new healthcare reform...." I usually stop them there and tell them I am not interested, but by reading a lot of these comments I realized I am not saying the right thing. Just simply tell them "take me off of your calling list or put me on your do not call list." I am the first one to admit that I HATE, no DISPISE, well maybe LOTHE is more appropriate, telemarketing calls, but I realized that they are just trying to make a living too.
Now with all that being said I have added my number to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and some do not realize that it usually stays on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for five (5) years and then you have to re-register. Another face some do not realize is that politicals calls like "employee" said way down the comments, are exempt from the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I work in a Registrar of Voters office and if your phone number is listed on your voter registration record it is considered public record and can and will be purchased by companies to use on calling lists and being on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY does not exempt you from being called from these lists. So....
make sure you re-register yourself on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY every five (5) years and call your local Registrar of Voters office and ask that your phone numbers be taken off of your record. Hope this information helps.
I picked up the line told her if this is a solicitation please take my number off the list! She said it wasn't a solicitaion and hung up.
These people are 'VERY ANNOYING' to put it nicely. They call every day and some days muliple times. I've even gone to the National Do Not Call Registry and they 'STILL' call.
When and if you answer there is 'NEVER' anyone there so you can't ask them to take you off their calling list. They area a pain in the A--!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can they be stopped? Pleas help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My next step will be to call the phone company and put them on the 'blocked list'.
Who is this BVTM? They keep calling and no one is there. I've read that these BVTM people claim to be just plain people, but in my opinion they are just a plain pain in the a--. They lie when they say they will take you off their call list. Lets hope more of us can get the BBB to do something with these idiots.
This has got to stopp. Who are these idiots anyway and what can we do to make them go away?
Numerous calls to my work office - no message left. When I answer they immediately disconnect.
Unfortunately, whether an employee of a telemarketing firm or not, whether trying to feed your family or not, my phone is in my home or office and I didn't invite you in. You're an unwanted intrusion and your job is simply to waste my time for someone else's benefit. If lots of autoworkers and IT professionals who actually build something can become unemployed, so can telemarketing firm employees. There should be a law that requires publishing of home phone numbers for all managers, executives and owners of telemarketing firms.
They have called our place of business several times a day for the past two months. Have left messages to please remove our phone number from their calling list.

Got two calls today on my cell phone between 12 noon and 1:30 PM USPT, even though I had called a month ago to be removed from the list.
Got 14 calls in a week to my cell phone, even though I had called [and talked to a real/nice person at BVTM] BVTM a month ago at 785-799-3500
to be removed from their call list. BVTM stands for Blue Valley Tele Marketing in Home, KS.
They call I answer, no one there.
I am also registered on the 'Do Not Call' list and this company calls everyday, even on weekends around 8:00 A.M. I was considering changing my number to an unlisted number but after reading others comments, it sounds as if they still manage to get around that too.

They call my office phone at around 4:30pm. Every day. For the last 3 days.
per their web site http://www.bluevalleytelemarketing.com/ they have their toll-free # 800-882-0803
. I requested to be taken off their call list. They said "fine". we shall see.
Two calls so far from BVTM no message no message left on recording machine.
After calling the 785-799-3500
number, I was told my number would be taken off the list, but it could take up to 30 days. I told the operator that their number is all over the internet for nuisance phone calls. She also told me that political calls were exempt from Do Not Call. I told her that since no one is on the line that these are prank calls, not political. She didn't respond. I then looked up their website and tried to email, which immediately bounced back. While there, I noticed that they are accredited with the Better Business Bureau and have a satisfactory rating. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If enough people file complaints, maybe other people won't have to deal with this.
What good are do not calls lists when telemarketers don't follow it. These people continually call in the morning seconds before 8am - how rude!!! And even have called after 9pm. I want their home number so I can bother them!!!!
very ticked Sep 26th, 2008
Get rid of this "telemarketing company!"
I am an employee of BVTM. Many people do not realize that ANYtime you sign up for a free drawing, do business with a company, subscribe to a magazine, etc you are usually agreeing to allow that company to use your name and number for these lists. Also, it is true the federal guidlines do exempt political calling from any do not call lists. I understand (as a consumer) the frustration with telemarketing. however, we are normal people trying to feed our families and, annoying as we may be at least when we call you we can speak english! As a company we always strive to provide courtious service to ALL of our clients, but if you thnk being on the "national do not call list" makes you exempt from any telemarketing/survey calls you are dead WRONG!! If you ask to be removed from our list we will do so. We can be fired for ignoring such a request. There is always the possibility that a number is put in twice and it does take a few days to process Do not call requests through our system, but try to remember we are working folks and we are NOT trying to make your life hell.
How about you just respect the do not call list, and we wont have to 'remove' ourselves. Mr 'employee'
I think your company obeying the law sounds more more reasonable.
The called Jul 14th, 2008
Hey- I work for BVTM. I understand all the complaints, but understand that if you dont tell us the right "response"- ex: "Put me on your DO NOT CALL list", are choices are limited as to what to do with your number when we end the call. If you hang up on us, theres a good chance we'll call back (maybe we got disconnected..), or if you say- "not interested", but you are not the person we asked for, we may call back( we know youre not interested, but we didnt ask for you). Basically, anything you tell us, for some unfortunate reason or another, we might call ya back.
What you need to do: call the number Angel said and request to be removed from the list- it will be! Or if you dont want to call KS., when we call you, simply ask to speak to the supervisor so you can ask her to take your name out of the system(same thing as calling) OR- ask the caller to please put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST.- the thing with that though, is it can take a week or more to completely remove your name from the autodialer- so be patient..it will be removed as soon as possible. OR- hell, say the person they ask for is deceased, we wont call back.
TRUST ME- We do not want to talk to someone who is pissed off at us anymore then you want to talk to us. We get hung up on all day long, are called names and threatened to be sued. We are rarely surprised at your anger and curses.
Basically, just say PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST, we will, and if everyone is civil to each other we wont have to speak again or get upset about a simple phone call.
They call frequently, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Same story as everyone else. Called the 785-799-3500
(BVTM telemarketing) number and a person answered immediately. She was very nice and said they would take my number out of their database.
2 calls within 2 minutes...no v/m
Only got one call - on Monday the day before Ohio's primary election. Didn't leave message. After reading the comments here, assume it was political and will not call again now the primary is over.
DIDN"T answer phone and glad I didn't

This person or people are truly annoying. Call at all times of day & night. Why can't the FCC stop them?
These people call me daily. They have left 2 messages over acouple days, both of them being "hello?....hello?!..." and then they hang up. But, when I actually pick up my phone and answer, they don't say one word.
If this is what they consider marketing, it's a pitiful failure. How do you reach people and promote a product if you never actually speak up and talk to them?
I used the telephone number provided below and they removed me from the list. Be sure to call between 8am-4pm CST to reach a live person. They are very nice and very prompt. They contract telemarketing for other companies that don't want to hire telemarketers of their own.
Followed Angels advice. called 785-799-3500
and Connie had NO PROBLEM taking me off their list. She was very cordial and professional about it. Thanks Angel
I saw this post and called and they removed our numbers! Yeh! >>>> Hey guys! They have a regular number you can call and they will immediately take you out of their database. It is: 785-799-3500
. An actual human answers and is very nice. It IS a telemarketing service. I called their regular # and the girl told me "Oh thats our telemarketing department next door. You have to call them to have them stop calling you." and gave me that #.
Telemarking firm asking about democratic choices. AFter aking my opinion, made negative statements about certain candidates in the form of questions. Do Not Call list won't help with this one..

I didn't answer, let the machine and no message left. That number has been calling several times a day for several days now. I reported it to the do not call reg. Hope something happens to put a stop to this.
Why should I spend money to call THEM so they MAYBE will take our number out of their data base. Calling them back just confirms it's a good number. Let them call me 1000 times, I'll never answer.
I called the 785-799-3500
number and a lady did answer. I told her that we're on the Do Not Call List and that they can be penalized for trying to market to us. She was very polite and said that they do comply with the Do Not Call List but that it may have been for political survey, etc. Anyway, she said that they will take our number out of their database.
I was able to find an 800 number for the company (Blue Valley TeleMarketing, Inc., 1555 Pony Express Hwy, Home, KS 66438, website: http://www.bluevalleytelemarketing.com/), 800-882-0803
. I called and they said they would take our numbers off their list, but it might take a few days. We only received one call so far, but this is a business, and we don't have time for telemarketers. Hope this helps.
please take me off your call list
Quit calling me you assholes

Called my CELL phone 5 times in the past week and left no message. I finally answered my CELL phone this morning and they hung up. I guess thats all there is to do in Kansas - Make prank phone calls...
They call, and leave no message..
Only other info picked up by my iPhone is KS, USA. (Kansas?)
Blue Valley Telemarketing. As Angel said, just call 785-799-3500
and ask to be removed from their call list. You will get a pleasant human being when you call.
They just started calling me a few weeks ago. Sometimes they hang up after Two rings sometimes after Four , never leaving a message. My zip is 45242
call my cell phone ask my brother inlaw, I ask for detail but did not answer and hang up, that suck telermarketing.
I just found this on BVTM website.
"All Do Not Call requests by customers are honored. We subscribe to all federal and state not-for-telephone solicitation lists, updating our lists on a regular basis."
If they subscribe to the lists why are they calling those of us that are on it?
I have been on the Do Not Call list since it came out and just checked to verify this (I'm still on it). So honor your statement above and stop calling us.
Just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call list. I get dozens of calls from them every week and I've had it. Going to start collecting my $500 when they keep calling.
What an annoyance. You can call them back at 785-799-3500
and complain to them. They will quit calling.
After reading the 8/3/2007 comments posted by "Angel", I was hesitant to call and ask to be removed from the telemarketing call database, thinking that this might be a ploy to confirm my telephone number. Today I decided to take more action. I again posted complaint to donotcall.gov, I blocked the telephone number, and I called BVTM at the number that Angel posted: 785-799-3500
. Just as Angel commented, a nice woman answered, I told her that we had received calls without messages from BVTM and we wanted to be removed from ALL of their databases, and she took our telephone number down and promised that we would be removed ASAP. What the heck - I am tired of being harassed and being cynical! Besides, if they try after I have taken these steps, I'll let you all know and our complaints will just escalate.
"BVTM" on caller ID (aka: "Blue Valley Telemarketing") called again this morning, but again left no message, and without our solicitations.
Received call, but no message. "Blue Valley Telemarketing", showing on caller ID as "BVTM", was the caller. Use donotcall.gov to report them. If we all fill out this complaint form, the gov't will come down on them, since it;s based on number of complaints they receive.
Left no message on VM. Called 1030 Sat.
