We received a call from this number claiming we'd won a prize (a car, a trip, or a TV), we only needed to sit through a 90 minute presentation (undoubtedly a high-pressure sales pitch). They also claimed we'd entered to win in the last 12-18 months, which is a complete lie since my wife and I NEVER participate in contests or giveaways like that. After some research online, I discovered that they are a deceitful marketing company called Mitchell's Communications Group, based in Illinois. This blog post from another victim is extremely telling: http://blog.kamens.us/2010/08/06/scam-call-from-mitchell-communications-group

Call is from 773-288-8091
I did not enter to win anything, and after listening to their messages for months, I finally hunted a valid number down 773-358-1470 from another blog's lead, and told them to leave me alone.
I did NOT enter any sweepstakes, nor did anyone else on any other blogs I've read.

Rhonda called and said I won a Ford Explorer for a form I filled out 12-18 months ago, WRONG, this is the 3 time they have called me on this scam and I told them the other 2 times to take my number off their list. Called them back and talked to 2 other people to take my name off their list, told me they know about the DO NOT CALL list but they got my number off the entry form I filled out. I assure you I never filled out any entry form. The address they have I haven't lived at for over 3 years so I'm sure I wouldn't have used it 12-18 months ago. What good is the DO NOT CALL list if these scammers can get through.

Do not recognize this caller ID show 773 358 1470 Mitchell Comm. A young African American mans tone of voice leaves a message said, "Tried calling you on the new car. An entry for new car you filled out in the last 18 months. When I call back and to ask for Tony an older female voice says hello and then transfers me into what background noise sounds as if its a call center. Another young African American man's voice answers said he was David. Then he asked for my first, last full name plus phone number. I asked him where was I calling and his tone became defensive..he said that he could not tell anything, or do his job until he got the info. As he kept on, he then said worked at Prize Fufillment center.. When I heard his tone change in less than 30 seconds from direct to urgent, I knew that my speculations went right not to trust this person, and company..They can keep the car!

Sam from the Prize Fullfilment Center calls and leaves 877-279-3457 ext 106. You have won one of 3 prizes. Turns out to be a vacation scam. They want you and your spouse to sit through a 90 minute meeting and you will win either a tv, a lincon navigator, or a vaction package. I guess you will definetely win the vacations package and pay for the fees which is not a deal at all. Hang up and ask to be removed from their list.

I received a phone call from this number and a man got on the phone to tell me that he wanted to "verify" my personal information from an entry form I had filled out within the last 9 months. He was very complimentary and tried to sugar me up as he was trying to get my income information, address, marital status and so forth...Obviously, I did NOT give him anything in reference to the info he wanted. I asked him what I wrote and he gave me bogus information....He said I qualified to win one of the top three prizes being either a car, a trip for two, or cash prizes...I said I would call him back at his extension #112...did NOT!
