Mr. Garrison: Coming from Atlanta and being that abusive I would guess this to be an agency from the nefarious Fred Hanna family. You may well be able to toast them in a Fair Debt case. Try the other mystery caller forums for leads to a street address.

The obfuscation reported by Sunshine is a common shyness among collectors and their skip tracers, trying not to violate privacy regs, another sore spot for lawsuits.

If you are receiving repeated, misdirected, and/or abusive calls from a third party debt collector, you may find relief in the provisions of the FDCPA, the Federal law which regulates collector behavior and provides you simple tools for your own defense. It grants you control of how you are contacted, and the means to sue at low cost. Learn your rights and first response tactics at FTC-dot-gov. See also your state laws for additional support.

This is a collection agency that likes to harrass people and there is an woman (told me she was a manager) there named Val that started screaming at the top of her lungs at me over the phone called me names and hung up. I have told them numerous times they are trying to get my brother and to stop calling me. They will not give out their address to send a letter asking them to stop and they have insinuated I am a liar. But this Val woman pushed too far today. I have reported them and an starting legal action against them.

This number calls my house several times a day and does not leave a message. I have called them back and asked them what the call is about, and they answer my question with a question, like what number did you receive the call from. Than they ask for my SS#, NOT from me they will not. Scammers asking questions like this.
