They keep calling my place of business even after I contacted Real Local pages corporate HQ to tell them to remove my number off their list. I will be following up with a written letter later in the week if they continue to call. I will also be logging in how often they are calling dates/times.
They've called multiple times to "update my free listing in the Real Local Pages". Sometimes they hang up when I answer. I've told them every time I am not interested in what they're peddling, but they call anyway.
They have called my place of business at all hours of the day. Once on the weekend about 9 pm. Sometimes they are on the line other times no one is there. They claim to be with Real Local Pages and are calling to update my free listing.
Got another call from this company; they call me once a week and last week the caller hung up on me when i said i wasn't interested. Today I talked to the agent which was a different person from last time but also had an Indian accent. Told me the service was completely free in his sales pitch but after further questioning he finally admitted that after 30 days my phone bill will be charged 49.95 per month. You will be told they will list you on their "Real Local Pages" website and be listed with other directories as well as google and yahoo. You can do this yourself for free, do NOT let them talk you into signing up for their service. It's a scam, total scam and AT&T can't remove it.
Man with Indian accent says he is with "Real Local Pages" and is updating our phone book listing. I have received numerous calls like this one, not only from these people but from other companies saying they are updating our yellow pages listing. They trick you into agreeing to some "free" service and then start billing it to your regular phone bill, but the phone company is unable to remove it. it's usually between $40-$60 per month and it is extremely difficult to get it removed once it is on there. They ask you to listen to a recorded voice and to answer "yes" to all the questions it asks you. One question will ask if you agree to a $40 per month service. Do NOT say yes to these questions, no matter what. They will tell you that you will not be charged, but they are liars. When you try to say that you never agreed to the service, they make you listen to the tape where you agreed to be billed. It's a scam, just tell them no and that you do not want to be listed with them.
Answered but no one there.
Had the same issues. Have received calls numerous times with no one there.
I have received several calls from this number only to have no one there when I answer. It is very annoying.
I have gotten numerous calls from this ID saying they are updating their business listings for "Global Yellow Pages" and trying to verify my business name and number. I have told them each time I do not want to be listed and to take me off their call list. I believe these calls are coming from India based on some of the accents.
3 times on a Saturday. Left a 7 minute "air" message. I called the number but a recording
said it was out of service.
