All I know is what I read here. They called my cell phone, but left no message. First time I've ever seen the number.

Always makes a rude comment about "we have received your Social Security number and other information into our office and we need to hear from you or your lawyer immediately regarding this important matter"

These people called my daughter looking for me. She told me, so I called this number. They asked what number was called, and I gave them my daughter's. The woman connected me with the man who made the call and he asked me for the file number. I told him I had no idea, he called me, I didn't call him. He said he was calling on behalf of a bank with whom I had a credit card. I said I had told at least five others that I had filed bankruptcy and it didn't matter how many times they called, the answer was the same. So STOP CALLING!!!!!! He became very indignant, and reminded me the call was recorded. I told him good, the next time you decide to call, listen to the recording first and save yourself the trouble!!!!!

I keep getting phone calls from this number and know they are calling my mothers phone number? But i do not know what they want, all i owe on is hospital bills that title 19 should have paid 7 yrs ago that i just found out i owe know because i was trying to get a house loan. Times are hard these days, and i would rather keep food in my kids belly and a roof over their head, than pay for things that should have been paid for. But yes, i am slowly paying for these debts, just can't do it all at once.

I see nothing has changed in the fifteen months since I first commented here ... same old hostile and lawbreaking practices. Mia's humorous wordplay is well taken. The thug collectors will insist they already are helping the nation by rescuing our fragile economy from hordes of lazy unemployed ''deadbeats'' ... failing of course to look in their own backyards for destructive behavior.

They do not identify themselves as a debt collection company but they are Nation Recovery Center. They threaten you by quoting your the last 4 digits of your SSN and that if you don't call back by 5pm (or what ever time they choose) they will have to continue with the paper work and file a grievance against you at your county court house. And sometimes they mention your county by name. Very tricky and very unethical because they do not follow through. Sometimes you don't even owe anyone any money!

Called and left a message on my answering machine claiming they've called 'numerous' times and contacted me through the mail 'numerous' times and need to hear from me or my lawyer. First time I've ever gotten a call from them, and as for something in the mail. HA! Haven't seen anything from them either. Sounded like a scam that tries to use threats to rip people off. They said their company was Nation's Recovery. Hmmm, maybe rather that harassing people out of work and struggling just to survive they should find a way to actually help the nation recover!

I'm counting at minimum four big Fair Debt violations in the story from Jess. I hope she found a consumer attorney in time. She could have less than a month to file suit, looking at her posting date here. Valerie should have enough to sue these clowns into submission as well.

If you are receiving repeated, misdirected, and/or abusive calls from a third party debt collector, you may find relief in the provisions of the FDCPA, the Federal law which regulates collector behavior and provides you simple tools for your own defense. Don't worry about Larry. The only reason he would even be on this page is because he got a call from them and is now looking up the phone number. Just like everyone else on this page.

My mom received a phone call left on her answering machine this afternoon from a Mr. Redick of NRC (National Recovery Center-debt collector). He stated my full name and said that I needed to call him asap. He stated that someone had made very serious allegations against me about a very serious matter and he was conducting an investigation and needed me to call him back to get clarify some details. They are also calling my work constantly. I had taken my mom’s number and my work number off of all my bills over a year ago. I don’t know how they got these numbers!

Other numbers they use:
678-259-0024.
866-362-3744
770-2 34-0101
770-234-0101

I got a message on 04/27/2010 in the afternoon, Miss Murphy said this call is for C.R. something, and left a nasty message, so I called their long distance number, and left a message of my own, ripping her a new one, letting her know that she needs to call the proper phone number for the proper person before she rips them a new one

After receiving numerous (not really even the word) calls per day, I finally changed my number and have it unlisted but unfortunately, they have my work number and won't quite calling!!! Isn't it illegal for them to call your job after you have asked them not to!! They have even went as far as to speak about this to employees and my supervisor! It's not bad enough to bother you at work but they have to emabarras you at your work place and tell everyone your business. They won't ever get a dime if I get fired for this! And for the guy below "larry" who thinks it's just as easy to pay your bills so they quite calling, lets just hope your significant other doesn't lose their job and you are left with all of the bills and supporting your children on a part time wage!!! There is NO F***ing work out there you close minded son of a b**ch. I would love to pay back what I owe and hope to one day but when it comes to providing a house and food for your children OR paying a debt, which would you do!!!! I highly doubt anyone would chose to put their children on the streets for a stupid credit card debt!!

Ignore these people, they called looking for an employee on mine

I refused to put them through and if they were a lawfirm, the name and state certification number of their attorney. They refused to provide it and got belligerent with me informing me that I could be charged with giving aid and comfort to a debtor (yeah right) I told them to bring it and hung up.

The reality is that they are like the collections company profiled by chris hanson (dateline NBC, to catch a predator) are do not seem to abide by the laws and industry rules laid out. My advice is try and get all the info you can about them and turn it over to the FCC, SEC, and local law enforcement and keep your money.

These people are tryin to collect money but I am talking to a lawyer as soon as I get the paper work to show my lawyer, I was nice but I already informed the credit card company what was going on and my lawyer will advise before I send any money. These people call you and threaten you but they have your information. Watch out.
